gorgeous! i love the live edges. also, i like it when the artists matches the wood with closely colored resin, rather than using bright colors that are so contrasted, or that hides the live edges and decor of the wood.
David once again what an amazing turning it looks gorgeous, I love the epoxy you used to save the piece in the first place and the overall finish is very beautiful waow 👍👍👍
to @@DavidsWoodturning i like how your work turned out well done from paul chapman Ps)when i was at secondary shool I made a three leged table and a four legged table a trinket box and a fruit bowl and a xylophone
How do you get the resin to stay in the crack and not just soak into the wood? I've tried that same crack fill and the resin just sort of vanished. I assume it soaked into the wood grain leaving the crack still "open". I know it didn't leak out, because there was no resin on my workbench. - Tim
If you work with soft or punky wood they tend do soak quite a bit. I normally keep an eye on it for the first 2-3 hrs and top up with more of i see the level is dorppomg

Love this chunky bowl - it has a character all of its own - well done! 👍👏
There is nothing more beautiful than the inside of a wood stump the soul of the tree. The grain and the awedome art piece is stunningly beautiful.
Thanks 😀

I love that wood. It's amazing what you can turn it into, and, not loose the beauty of the wood. It's stunning
Блестящо ! Невероятно красиво, с всички тези форми, които се получиха в резултат на изработването на изделието. Поздрави за отличния майстор !!!
You are truly an Artist with wood.
Thanks a lot :)
Burls are the always the most surprisingly beautiful pieces of wood. You displayed it to its fullest! Very nice.
Thanks 😀

Très belle réalisation bravo bravo magnifique
Merci beaucoup :)
A slimilarly shaped vase/bowl with more holes in it due to the grain of the burl would make for a spiffy candle lantern.

I do like a good burly bowl!
What's the largest size you can do on that lathe?
Thanks 😀 16” over the bed. Could turn bigger if i would have standalone tools test as the head stock is movable
First😀🙂
You are fast :) Thanks for watching
What a beautiful piece! If you don’t mind my asking, where do you get your makers mark made?
For the branding coins I use the below:

@@DavidsWoodturning Thanks a bunch!
Why do you apply sanding sealer if you sand it off afterwards? What does it do?
Yes helps with soft / punky wood to toughen up 👍
