David what can I say but waow I love the bowl and the thought of cutting holes into it well not sure if I could do that yet lol but waow what an amazing bowl you ended up with it's absolutely gorgeous 👍👍👍 PS Merry Christmas and a happy new year 🎅🤶
Awesome job man! If it wouldn't take 5 years to do a big vase like thst just for artificial flowers and things like that would be absolutely gorgeous but it would probably take about 5 years to do lol. What kind of tool was that first carbide one you used to begin the hollowing. It was set at a weird angle but looks like it cut really well I was going to look into maybe getting some of them. Thanks again and keep up the awesome videos!
@@DavidsWoodturning great work/channel... what bits are you using? i have an asortment of mini router bit and 1/8shank cnc bits but im not happy with them.
Happy Watching 😊 But miserable listening! I'm a minute in, and I already don't care to stick around to see how it turns out. The music is just that bad.
Turned out very unique! I think this piece would lend well to a glow-in-the-dark translucent resin!!

It started as walnut, and ended up looking like butternut. Get it? Because butternut is always full of bug holes. Awesome project.

Thank you. Check out SImon Hope woodturning tools I use mainly his tools. Very good ones..
I think that turned out really well David. Can I ask how many hours you invested in it?...approximately of course!
Thank you :) About 10hrs. 70% of that was the sanding after i done the piercing
👍
Hi very nice work, were you using a foredom to start the piercing.
Thank you :) It was a dremel fortiflex machnie
