    Do you know of anyone that's bobbed a 1994 interstate? I bought one 3 weeks ago and your vids have inspired me. Apparently, the radiators somehow control carburation. I'm definitely over my head but I'm in it $2500 bucks worth so far. Definitely miss my 98 Valkyrie. Enjoying your vids.

      Hey thank man, no i don't know any one with a bike that new. i would say do your research and understand how the bike works stock that way you can better come up with a way to modify it.
      Good luck!!

    What did you use to clean & prep rim before paint? Did ya scuff rim up? Or go straight to paint? Thanks for videos really helps with my 1st gw1200 build I’m doing on 86 aspen.

    Did you paint the white wall on because of a cost issue?

    • @akaSuperJimmy
      @akaSuperJimmy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was finding the white wall options were very limited when it came to the size tire I needed and a tread pattern I liked. Also, the size of the white walls I could find were thin (in my opinion), so I made my own. So far, the spray paint seem to be holding up well. I'll be posting a quick update video soon which will include what the tire looks like now.

    Painting tires isn’t cool bud! Real white walls are available

    • @akaSuperJimmy
      @akaSuperJimmy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's only one option when it came to a tire that had white walls and fit the wheels that I have. Plus painting White Walls is not a new idea, people have been painting white walls for a long time.

      I chopped my first Harley in high school. Bike cost $800. Bucks. Now, I’m 70. I want to Bob my 94 wing. The costs ar insane. Guess if you’re wealthy or money is no object spend what you want. My world, in the 60’s, money WAS an object. Great idea in the paint kid. Thanks for all of the time you spent.
