@@imalwaysright Piggybacking off this: the Bayside Mix was so big in the US, it led to higher sales of those earlier mixes of the song too, as well as Los Del Mar's version. The Macarena Fever of 1996 was wild.

Not good at all ...but still is good to see dance music getting a chance to chart and some big names like George Michael, Cher, Bryan Adams etc leaving their marks here too. These "meh" years in music started in 1993.
1993 was an outstanding year in music and this was good too
