Ah yes, love this trick. I have used it many times. Works great for synths as well or any instrument really. It can give a very dreamy vibe to your track.

@@EDMTipsI haven't touched a DAW in many years now. When I was active in the community and had friends who were I noticed there were many sharp minds thinking of ways to do things. Sometimes they thought up the same ideas without discussing it with each other, and sometimes they found a way to get an effect I'd never seen done before at all. There's definitely a lot of bright minds in the production space. I've seen the creativity that limitations breed amongst amateur producers firsthand and it's a beautiful thing to see & be shared! I miss it. Just haven't had my drive for a while now. Hopefully that'll change soon. I likely just need to force myself and get in the habit of it again.

never thought about using it for synths, I'll definitely give that a try
Couldn't agree more! 🙂
I use this often, works for synths/fills too. You can also freeze and flatten the new audio track instead of recording into another new track 🙂
Nice one! Love the tip 💪
Classic trick, thx man 🤘🏾
You’re welcome! 🙌🏻
Also you can dublicate then warp it , freeze and consolidate, next is reverse… so easy
i usually just freeze and flatten out of laziness, but is recording it into a new track that much better though?
Great video! I've watched quite a few explaining this concept but this is the most concise and helpful!

I'd say this an amateur or common trick. It's one that's so intuitive that most people have thought of it on their own, but maybe thats just me.
I’ve never met anyone who thought if it on their own, but I suspect your skill level is higher than you think!
