Derrick White has been one of the best stories in the NBA for years. He was a zero star recruit out of high school but clawed his way into the first round of the NBA Draft. I recall a game last year where he had 26 pt, 5 assists and 5 charges taken. He definitely knows how to play defense. He was always a class act with the Spurs. Glad he is getting a chance to shine in the finals.

I actually have the great honor of D White being my neighbor. He's an awesome person. He's taught me so much more than basically any other coach or basketball clinic I've ever been to. Such a great person and player, and I'm definitely a fan of his for life.

That workhorse mentality mixed with a never say die attitude is what every coach's dream but he is a glue guy that keeps the team focused and the floor spread. Sometimes that the right fit makes a star and the Boston fit has done just that.

I have a video idea and possibly a series idea if you and people like it. You should do a video series where you put good teams from the past against each other in a 7 game series and you use key players, stats and etc to see which one would come out victorious and you don’t have to use super teams but you have to make sure the team are equally as good as the other for example, the 2018 Cavaliers vs the 2019 Toronto Raptors, the 2008 Boston Celtics vs the 2020 L.A Lakers or the 2017 Warriors vs the 2003-04 Lakers and there can’t be injuries, chemistry issues and stuff like that, I would love to see you analyze teams to see which has a better chance of beating the other, which player would need to carry their teams and what that team can use against the other weakness/strength wise, but it’s just something I would love to see knowing how good your NBA IQ is.

It's a win-win trade for the Spurs and Celtics. C's gave up two players and two picks for White, while Richardson is a good fit for the Spurs. If they win a chip this year, maybe teams will also want a trade to Spurs in hopes to have their missing pieces as the Raptors and Celtics did.

Not incredible to me. He won the Gleauge Championship in 2018 and was the best player in the Leauge. I told him he would be an all star one day. His heart is huge and Popavich knew this for sure.
