Thanks! I might add a surge tank to it and e50 later this year. I will run the rest of the time attack event of on grid later this year. Hope to see you soon, Jeff.
I think the air temp was pretty cool during that time. So, there is no issue with that. Also, I'm using 5w40 for the engine oil. Heat soak might happen during 85F days. Brakes are ap racing BBK with csg pads. No fade lap after laps.
throwing it around like a go kart, amazing have you had the infamous bump steer issue? I can't find any feedback/reviews on this on the newer model years
I love the Supras I really gotta drive one to convince me to own one rather than my s2000, I feel like maintenance costs are the same but correct me if I’m wrong. How’s it been owning it so far?
That looks like some serious fun. I have heard that the manual implementation in the supra is actually not that great and the auto is a "better" fit. I believe you have driven both versions, any comments?
The only thing I did for cooling was the heat exchanger from ams. Suspension was kw club sport 2 way with some spl arms. You definitely need to get 5w40 engine oil for track use!
This looks awesome! Are you able to turn off rev matching in normal mode? I can only turn it off in sport mode in the individual settings page but I need to turn on sport mode everytime I get in the car
Rev match is reactive not proactive, meaning it only revs up the moment you shift into gear. If you do the rev match before the car does, you can’t feel the rev match function even exist. But it’s nice to have it as a backup, just in case the corner entry keeps you too busy to make a perfect heel-n-toe.
For sure, the Supra.( if you plan to track it a lot). The cayman can not turn the traction control fully off on my friend's gts 4.0. I sold my GT4 for the supra, 😆
Just dancing around the limit - beautifully done!
Great driving
Moving out dude freaking flying in that supra! 🏎️💨💨
That was a pleasure to watch, bloody excellent
T8 speed was excellent. Good commitment
Wow that was fun!
Awesome driving that’s movin! Hope we cross paths at the track the Supra looks like a fun build. Doing anything else to it this year?

How are the oil and water temperatures? Also the brakes?

Nice! What tires?

Nope, get some toe in at the rear you will be fine. Also, if you lower the car way too much, you will get it anyway lol.

I think s2k is still an experience to own. The running cost is actually very low since it's a Toyota lol.

I think I prefer manual. That's what makes it a REAL Supra.
Also 60-130 is faster in manual. Which implements the most on our track.
Nice lap! Love the steering wheel. Which hub did you get? I’ve been looking into KMP because it’s the only option I know.
I bought the OMP one.
just go the a91 mt i would like to ask what your cooling setup and supension setup for the car.

@@herrickhuang2005I’m planing on tracking it I was thinking only csf aux cooler and bms intake manifold spacer.

You can set the sport mode to least aggressive. I cannot turn it off in normal, either.

Have you always taken that line entering T3?
I think it’s not the optimal line. It’s just the car force me there.
debating on getting the manual supra or a 718 cayman s. What do you think?
For sure, the Supra.( if you plan to track it a lot). The cayman can not turn the traction control fully off on my friend's gts 4.0. I sold my GT4 for the supra, 😆
Tough call. I would go with cayman if I can afford maintenance
You are flying and working that wheel. Excellent!
