    Nice smooth driving! My son just got a Green Envy '14 Fiesta ST a few months back. The car is a riot to drive! We took it out for a mountain run some weeks back and it impressed both of us. We definitely need to take it to Road Atlanta or Atlanta Motorsports park one of these days.

      It's sad when people buy cars like that and can't drive them

      @@nah3193 it's not a race. Maybe he can't afford to write off a 100k car, so isn't pushing past his ability

      Yes, soooo impressive that he can go fast on those straights! Only cost him what, $200K more than a FiST? I don't even know.

      @@elizabethledet1346 hey, im happy to be on track with both “cheap” econorockets, shade tree builds, classic E30s & air cooled 911, brutal Camaros, as well as big ticket metal, with everyone having a ball. A latest GT3RS might blast past me like im standing still on the straights, sounding awesome, but when the driver tells me how i was driving the wheels off my lil’ FiST thru the corners before i gave them the point by, its a good day for all.

      If your ambient conditions are below 90F, which is when is usually run the car, all I have needed is RBF 600 brake fluid or better. Everything else should hold up, I usually run 200 treadwear tires and the brakes still hold up fine. Just make sure to run the Motorcraft “S” pads or better. No cooling ducts are needed. If the temps are in the high 80s I usually have to take a cool down lap to bring the water temp back down after about 5-10 mins of hard driving. A bigger radiator will fix this situation but the car is still very capable right out of the box. People seem to waste money on aftermarket parts that aren’t necessarily needed. If your ambient conditions are going to be above 90F more upgrades will be needed.

    • @cameronmmj9291

      Biggest issue is cooling for me. So upgraded radiator would be a good start. Also, check your boost pipe hose clips are strong. Mine failed on my second track day and cost me 3 sessions.

      @@cameronmmj9291 How about oil temps? Does Ford already have a solution from the factory?

    • @francoisrivard893
      @francoisrivard893 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jacobrzeszewski6527 There's a factory stock built-in coolant to oil heat exchanger (Water cooled oil cooler). A larger radiator (when needed) will improve both water and oil temps.

      ive been tracking my ‘17 since new virtually stock but with Motul 5.1 & EBC yellow & now blue pads… but on demanding tracks will need to to full track pads or BBK as i now nuke even the blue fronts in 6-8 sessions. funny that my first “big” mod might be a BBK for slowing down rather than more power!! An LSD might help alot too. More power would make the GT3 and GT4 drivers work harder for their point-bys, but Great Handling, Batman, you can flog the wheels off of a FiST and have an absolute ball.

      Firestone Firehawk 500s work great & last pretty well for FiST at stock size; used to be really inexpensive but still are a good buy.
