      Maybe you can sew or thread a piece of satin on the underneath part of your cap. All the way around or just a patch at the top. That way the headscarf doesn't slide off the cap. If the cap moves you can Bobby pin it at the sides.

      @@sahrahussein7251 So I normally have my hair in a low bun with like two small braids on my hairline ( I hope that makes sense) or I have two braids that you can still turn into a bun, then under that, I wear a silk scarf wrapping it around the bun, lastly, I tie my hijab in any style I like. I feel like this works, especially if you moisturize your hair regularly. My scarf doesn't slide off also it doesn't look weird with braid bumps! inshallah this works for you too! x

    this is a real issue yall, I used to have thick hair and I started to do extremely tight buns and ponytails under my hijab and my hair line has gone back so so so much. Not only that my hair was practically dead and I’d have constant migraines. Making the slightest change such as wrapping your hair in silk bonnets, oiling it regularly, plaiting it will make the biggest difference. My hair is slowly starting to become a lot more healthy.

    What Mahnal is describing is traction alopecia. Traction Alopecia can happen to anyone but it is most common for people with curly hair. It can affect people with straight hair if too much weight is put on it. Such as trying to wear sew-ins,hair extensions or even ponytails pulling to oblivion.

    It's called traction alopecia. When you pull your hair tight into a bun or braids causing hair loss. Combing your hair actually will increase blood flow to the scalp. Peppermint essential oil in whatever you put on your scalp, will also increase blood flow which in turn increases hair growth. Using a silk scarf or fabric that doesn't absorb the moisture on your hair keeps it from breaking. If you don't have damaged hair, just dry hair, avoid anything with protein in it.

    So relatable - I started wearing the hijab at the age of 10, and definitely like yourself and many others has the mind set of ‘who cares, no one sees my hair’!! I went years without trimming my hair and used to put my hair up in a really tight high bun, under a scarf cap. The only time my hair would breath was at night! I noticed my hair thinning massivley, hair loss and my hair line strated to recede. It was only two years ago that i finally cut my hair and honestly it was the best thing ever - Eversince I have stopped pulling my hair so tightly, but instead partin my hair to the side or down the middle; I have also stopped wearing a under cap on a daily basis and keep my hair in a loose half pony under my hijab. I wash my hair 2-3 a week and oil my hair at least once a week: honestly i have noticed a huge change in my hair and scalp - Only if someone had told me this sooner !!?

    if you have too much tension on your hairline it will cause some hair loss, this is common for people who wear wigs, do rags/headscarves or hijabs.
    It is best to keep your hairline moisturize as much as possible using oils or butters depending on your hair texture. Wearing a silk scarf helps to retain the moisture and does not agitate the hairline.

    I have a big forehead, i was bullied because of it when i was a child, my hate towards it grew as i grew up .. i learnt how to disguise it with a fringe and some eyeshadow “freaking daily application” i got married, i kept that as a secret and it’s draining me .. no one knows about it except my mom and sister .. i wish i could just wear my hair in ponytail and show my forehead like everyone .. i always fantasize about transplanting it but it’s not an option for me unfortunately. And now!!! My hairline is receding .. this is why i’m here ... i bought vitamins, oils and i’m not using heat anymore only minimal with a heat protector and on the lowest setting .. wish me luck ..

    I Wore hijab for Almost 10 years. 3-4 years ago i noticed that my hair was extremely falling out. I tried everything to grow back my hair But it didnt help. Everybody was telling me take your hijab off and ist will get better. I took it off 2 months ago. It really got a little better but it wasnt worth it. dont know what to do anymore. I didnt tie my hair strong and wore soft hijabs.. now i have bold hair and it is so hard to Cover it. i am usin eyeshadow and sprays but you can still see the boldness. Most of the Time i dont wear my hair open and ist really Makes me sad.. i am very insecure about it. what will my future husband think about it.. kheir in shaa Allah

    This could be why the Prophet pbuh disliked putting your hair in a bun under your scarf (camel hump) due to the hair damage caused by it! SubhanAllah

    • @Paulina-un7wu
      @Paulina-un7wu 5 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      It's true that wearing your hijab like a camel hump is haram. But saying that damage is reason for it tot be haram? That is not true. What the reason is we don't know Allahu ahlem.

    • @mahammughal4135
      @mahammughal4135 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Siham Handala I’m not claiming to know that, that is the reason why it’s haraam but it could be one of the reasons why it is because it is harmful to hair due to the pressure being put on it.

    I used to suffer from headaches because of the tight bun and having my hijab on all day but now, I wrap my hair with a smaller stretchy band that covers all my hair without having to tie it in a bun, then wear the regular hijab on (we use very thin fabrics for hijabs in Kuwait so its not hot wearing 2 pieces together).

    I don't wear a hijab but I've only been wearing a tight bun for years now. And same about receding hairline because of the tightness, I was ignoring it until I saw your video. Only started the video, pretty sure the tips will be helpful for me too.

  • @HanadyKhan
    @HanadyKhan 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    OMG I know exactly what you'r talking about! Thats exactly my theory too about the hairline. I started not tying my front hairs kinda like turned them into bangs and I would keep them to the sides by my ears. And I would tie the rest of my hair back. It has helped my hair grow so much better upfront alhamdullilah no more receding hairline. And then when my hair shows upfront sometimes wearing the hijab people question why but they don't understand the struggle. Like I'm not doing it purposely to show my hair I'm just trying to help my hairline.
