    Sister, thank you for the reminder about niat. It truly struck me. And now I feel more at ease about my hair fall.

    salaam ❤ I’ve stopped putting my hair in a bun altogether since a few months ago and just put it in a french plait + tie the braid so hair doesn’t come out of the scarf, I used to feel that the bun was putting so much tension in my scalp but the braid is so much more comfortable! inshallah this will help someone out there!

      Sis how do you do it without looking lumpy!! I just did my hair in braids because it’s the best way to keep my hair up/protective style but it looks sooo lumpy lol

      hahaha from the back? I’m going with the approach “out of sight, out of mind” 🤪 but for real, it actually looks pretty decent! if you tie the braid (I just do one from the top all the way down) into a sort of bun, I’m sure it will look fine!

      I wear a sports hijab and a sports cap for work. I’ve tried a lot of things, but lately have been making one big braid in the back. I wrap the ends up so they don’t knot and tuck it down my shirt. Between the sports hijab and cap it is completely concealed. I trade the cap for a pretty hijab to go home. I just put it over the sports one.

    Since I've started wearing hijab full time I haven't really have any issues and here are some things I've learn :
    Until recently I have been paying attention for hair tips and the myth of hijab being the cause of hair loss, and I stressed too much and started to loose hair. So my tips are 1. Don't stress, if you don't wear hijab, don't pay attention to the "bald" joke some hijabis make. Bc actually this might have an impact on how you see hijab 2. Oils are really good. And actually there's Hadith of Prophet PBUH using oils. But if you're gonna make them at home just be careful in the proportions you use, specially if you're gonna use essential oils(they can cause irritation like lavander or rosemary),always add them to a base oil like almond, jojoba, olive or grape seed oil. And unless you have a very dry hair, oils are meant to wash after some hrs 3. Know your hair, some say that we loose up to 100 hairs a day, but this is just a number. Some ppl might loose more or less bc of genetics and doesn't mean you're going bald. So know your normal hair loss. Also, know that hair grows more and faster for some ppl and not for others. There's a plateau for everyone. Allah made us different. So don't stress if your hair isn't as long as on your waist 😅. 3.2 related to the previous point, there's seasonal hair loss, so in those cases you can take extra care or change routine.
    4. Eating healthy and enough water helps not only your hair but your skin and even your mood :)
    5. Remeber Allah SWT commanded hijab to conseal our beauty, not the contrary. So treat your hair and body as beautiful as it is. Make duaa and thank Allah for what He gave to you

    Definitely agree with all the tips given. As a black hijabi revert we might have different hair struggles a tad bit but I recommend ALL sisters with different hair textures. Invest in getting a satin cap to place under your cotton caps,etc. The satin cap won't pull at your hair compared to other textured material caps,etc. It changed the hair loss game for me. Also try spritz your hair with water mixed hair products just to place back moisture in your hair after wudhu, cause I've noticed my hair dries out after wudhu.

      Amazing tips sis, thank you!! I’ve been meaning to get a silk under cap 😍 I have pretty frizzy hair so I definitely need to try the hair product and water tip. I used to do something similar on my off days from washing to maintain my hair’s texture.
      Thanks again! 🤍

    Yes, my doctor reccomends to massage the scalp, not to always tie our hair up, the front hair part clipping it is actually helpful. And having protein rich diet.

    I live in a city and don't have the option to do my hair anywhere outside. Do you think I could put vitamin D oil drops on my scalp?

      I’m not sure if that would help or not, in your case I would try to look for the advice of a dermatologist or some other medical professional if you can!

    • @ahijabirose
      @ahijabirose ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Basically just do your bun looser and leave out the front parts of your hair if possible (clip them up instead of having them pulled back so tight)
