Wow fantastic update! Cant wait to add the GPS module to thy crawler and everything else added is brilliant too.
This was a necessary release tbh because at more than double the price nobodys buying the pro relatively speaking compared to the NB4. Really glad they came through.
You would be surprised at how well the pro is selling even at £399 it's still way cheaper than a futabe or sanwa that can't do anywhere near as much :)
As usual...and, as everyone watching your channel has come to expect...excellent video, and excellent info. I would, however, like to make one suggestion related to naming files. When naming files using dates, is always best to go in a year-month-date format, 2-digits for each (4-digits for year is also good, but not necessary). This is because, not only is that the format that all PCs recognize...but, it also makes files the easiest to find. I even do this in naming folders (usually that format, followed by an actual name, such as "23-05-15 - NAB Show 2nd Day"). Just a 'suggestion'...but, a very smart one. Again, thanks for the info. So far, I'm off work tomorrow...so, I think I know what I'll be doing for at least part of the day. 🤙🏼

From what I can tell the Mac version is not working at this time unfortunately
After reprogramming and calibrating everything seems to work ok. I can't understand what I did wrong the first time. Thank you very much and I can also confirm that the FW2.0.101 (FCC Version) version has no problem. at 250 meters I did not face any problem. Thank you very much! ! !

I have a fly wheel gap tool but what I noticed was when I took the filter off the carburetor gas was leaking out through it so it's a good chance it's the carburetor no good

The cdi unit that tells it to spark check the gap from the flywheel

On to my question..
can you tell me which Hobby wing esc’s can utilize the new update for the NB4? Is it just the XERUN AXE R2? Or will any XERUN esc with ibus2 give you real time data of the esc via the TX?

Yes you can roll back and the pro will still work with Dasmikro just in one way transmission :)
I have a question... How can I program the Ch3 "Lights" to remain off, after turning off the receiver?
Not sure what your asking as any lights on ch3 would lose power when the receiver is off ?
This update limited the throttle substantially on all my car models and I couldn’t fix it other than by going back to previous version, then I tried reinstalling the lates 101 version but got the same issue.
Just run calibration in the main menu and it will work fine on latest firmware
Or could it be the receiver which is fgr4 receiver

Hi no it will only work on enhanced receivers so inr4-gyb, fgr4b, fgr8b, fgr12b, frt8b, and ftr12b :)
After getting into racing, photography, and freestyle kwads and using nothing but openTX radios for the past few years i cant help but feel like any non opentx radio is severely lacking. if i could have the physical noble but with the power of openTX id be in heaven.
Yep agree but unfortunately most people wouldn't be able to use open tx as lots struggle just using the stock firmware but would be a nice option
@@WTFRCCars yeah it's definitely not for everyone. I personally enjoy the setup process of a new rc profile but it was mind boggling at first. Spending an hour just to be able to arm your drone can be a bit much. Lol
Hi. Can you help me. I have a NB4 but i cant calibrate my esc’s to have a brake. All skyrc esc. Ts50 Ts120 and Ts160
You will likely have to slow the transmitter down so the esc can keep up, do this by setting the servo speed to 333hz and then calibrate the esc again :)
Flysky assistant won’t connect to server. After 15 minutes. Any suggestions? Thanks Mike in Michigan

Hey bro quick question ok I have petrol 5th scale rc cars and I took one outside to run when I noticed it was disconnected from my nb4 so I reconnect it and now it will not start I went over every inch of the car I'm thinking it's something with the electrics and all so the engine cut off was on I took it off is there anything else I can check for on the nb4
Was it working and you updated the transmitter?
Can you do a guide on how to setup the ibus2 connection to the hobbywing axe? There's this new feature of it for the 2.0.201 nb4.

Why after updating is my throttle rate only go to 63 forward and -11 reverse? EPA is 100 both ways, does it on every model
Calibration in the main menu will correct it

Yes it does now. For some reason the last FW update made the ch speed adjustments in 1/10th steps, but this new one is now 1/100th steps like the pro.
Ok I will do that when I get off work is there any setting for the engine shut off thar I should have on although it's off
Not really just make sure the servo frequency is set to 333hz as most of the kill switches can't cope with more

It was just to fix an issue with the fgr4s v1 receivers
I installed the Flysky Assistant but it doesn't open, only appears the message "connecting to the server", what can I do?
Just leave it running it takes a long time to connect
Great video but I didn't get the ibus2 menu icon added after the update, did I miss something or it only comes up when the receiver is ibus2 capable? Any help greatly appreciated.
Do you have an enhanced receiver bound as classic receivers can't do ibus 2
I only have fgr4 and fgr4s and not sure if they are ibus2 capable

Hi Craig. I just completed the update but my endpoints are kinda wonky. Channel 1 and 2 are both not reaching 100 percent endpoints. Receiver is updated already. Have you seen this before?

Trying to follow this and do a firmware update. I was with you all the way up to 9:30 where you say "Start the firmware updater." Then, you dragged some window over that apparently is the firmware updater. Where do i get the firmware updater? How do I start it?
Down load it from the link in the description it's called firmware updater from flyskys site and to start it you just click on it :)
@WTFRCCars the only thing I saw on the site that had the word "updater" in it was a "receiver updater." Is that the one I want?
@VagrantRC nope, there is assistant v3 at the bottom and up at the top of the list is actual firmware update files :)

No my computer is in the shop getting repaired but it was working fine then the other day I took it for a run and it was disconnected from the nb4
Definitely not something I've had and I have 1 nb4 2 nb4 pro's and an nb4+ with over 30 rc's but make sure your servo frequency is set to 333hz :)
Thank you very much for your value help and your effort to help, I have learned many things that we did not know before. I went through the new upgrade from FW2.0.100(FCC Version) to FW2.0.101(FCC Version) and what I noticed is that in two reciver FGr4v2, the brakes did not work anymore in inferno mp7.5 VE and mp9 VE, they have both vortex speed control. After resetting to FW2.0.100 (FCC) the brakes work normally. Do you know anything about this problem, thanks again for the valuable effort where do you do ! ! !
If you have issues update the receiver firmware and then calibrate the nb4 all should then work fine
@@WTFRCCars Thank you very much, I have updated the firmware of the receiver and then calibrated the nb4, but the problem remains. In the FGr4S receiver the problem does not exist, only in FGr4v2 the problem remains. It seems like some bak version FW2.0.101 which in FW2 .0.100 does not exist!
Also check the servo frequency is set to 333hz then calibrate the esc to match the transmitter should all work fine then

Depends on what your servo needs most are 333hz :)

At the moment only the axe r2 system is updated to work over ibus 2 programming

Any idea if the NB4 / receivers will be able to bind to multiple controllers?
Not at the same time that's the whole point of binding so no other tx can control them
@@WTFRCCars kinda. Futaba and some others let you do it.
For instance, my son and I each have NB4 controllers. If I turn my controller off he should be able to select the car on his controller without having to open up the car, fiddle with a bind plug etc.
Nope and none of the other high end radio's work like that, the chap dumbo rc might though

There's nothing new in the 2.0.102 only a fix for the fgr4s v1 receiver being detected as none genuine :)

It's been fixed in the latest firmware you need to update the transmitter

It's because it re writes the whole memory, if you back up with assistant v3 then restore it should put them back for you.

I have just update my NB4 to hthe last firmware versión .102 , and i do have a problem...
I have update 2 differnt receivers and bind them ágain and after calibrate both cars with Hobbywing ESCs,
In the main screen of the NB4 the indication of the throttel do not reach the 100% ... the max. Indicates 65%
I do not know why???
Run calibration in the system menu of the nb4 and it will work correctly again :)

@Luis-Volt 102 was just a tiny update to fix an issue with the fgr4s v1 not being detected correctly but not many people have fgr4s v1 receivers
I can’t get mine to pair with to my hp pc threw usb
This normally comes down to people not using a data cable and just a power usb cable so worth trying a proper usb data cable
Can I still export my models with 2.0.85?? Assistant doesn’t seem to want to find my radio properly
No 85 is not compatible with assistant v3 unfortunately

Yes you can update but just have to re set up all your cars unfortunately this is why I advise people to keep upto date with the firmware version

O I have a killa bee on there as well I'm wondering if that may be the problem but it's beeps on tell I switch it off
Think that kill switch is one that needs a 333hz servo frequency from the transmitter

@amirnewson1905 if the receiver is binding up to the transmitter then it's working fine, I'd say either the radio is set to higher than 333hz or the kill switch has one of the wires broken or the relay may have failed
Mine has problems turning on have to hit the reset button and it might turn on, today it wont even turn on hmm wonder if this update will help

I just downloaded 2.0.102 and my throttle endpoints stop at 60% and will not go past 73% when adjusted all the way up.
I can't download 2.0.101. When I clip it I'm brought to the release notes.
Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated!
Yeh just run the calibration in the system menu and move your throttle and steering over the whole movement it will set it back up for you :)

Yeh it's just has a few fixes for the original fgr4s v1 that was incorrectly detected as none genuine :)
@@WTFRCCars alright one more question. I set this remote up for two cars and neither one of them are going full speed. My throttle trim is showing 100% on the radio but the cars are running at like 50% power. Any ideas?
If the kill switch is bad will the stop the engine from starting I'm literally trying everything
Yeh if kill switch fails then the engine will not run

My firmware updater doesn’t show the controller. I followed step by step, plugged the controller into the computer and it makes the sound then I tell it to open the download and it’s just blank. The controller never pops up. Can you help with this ?
Make sure the controller is in update mode, which radio are you updating?
@@WTFRCCars it’s a Flysky Noble NB4+, I plug the controller into the computer and it makes the connected noise. On the controller I go to settings and click the software update button and the message pops up saying not to mess with it and the computer makes the noise again. Then I click to open the update and nothing.
@Average.at.13est you have to download the version that matches you nb4+ so EU or EN or it won't see the nb4+

@Average.at.13est the version of radio is on the about page and the updaters are listed on flysky site you have to goto the nb4+ and then at the bottom click the software link and download the same update as you radio or use assistant v3 to update it
My PC won't let me download the firmware update. Chrome and Microsoft edge both say "Virus detected".. What am I doing wrong?
It's a false alarm you just have to allow it

Both need to be enhanced receivers and need to be updated :)

Not with dual receiver you need the enhanced ones fgr4b fgr8b fgr12b or inr4 gyb

When I update the receiver is it better to Update then Bind or Bind then Update or doesn't it matter?
A receiver doesn't need to be bound to update it :) so I'd update it then bind.

What's the difference between FCC and STD ?
Fcc higher transmitter power slightly longer range but shorter battery life, standard is stock transmitter power but longer battery life :)

Yeh main menu all the way to the bottom then about, it will show you what version you have :)
When i went to download the software, my Bitdefender software detected that there was a virus that was downloaded 49ef542f-18a5-4e00-ae2d-c553034a6996.tmp. Anyone have this issue?
It's a false alert, but on a separate note windows has one of the most reliable antivirus software built in and it's free also your pc will perform much better with bitdefender removed :)
