I saw the radio at my local hobby shop; it looks better in person, and the features are up to par with $700+ high-end radios. I purchased the radio right then and there.
@@AsurasWrath164 It's a VERY long story, but I'll say this. Make sure you keep ahold of the power bank/charging base, as I was not able to find a replacement without replacing the whole system. Hopefully that's different now. The third one was part of rebuilding my stolen RC collection.
I’ve been researching a multi model, advanced transmitter system for a few months. Been bouncing between the NB4 and the Futaba 7PXR, because I want a system that’s future proof and have all the adjustability I need to set each rc model to how I want easily. I ended up ordering the NB4 Plus, should be here today or tomorrow!
I've had the standard NB4 for about a year and it's been great. Being able to switch from my mojave 4s to my fazer mk2, then back to my scx24 and mini-b and everything in between is a game changer. Gone are the days of loading a box full of transmitters in the trunk before a bash.
Great review 👍 Looks like it's pretty easy to use, I'm not too good with some of the electronics, but this doesn't look too bad to operate, I think they did a good job making it user friendly!!!! 💯
I had the opportunity to use that radio, today, January 11 /2025 And I just can say...... it's Amazing 🍺🔥🔥🔥🔥 , the feeling on your hands is like a luxury Car .
My dad just got one at our local Bins store for $10 new in box. 😬😬😬😬 That's why I'm here to learn about it. Also I learned I need to get a receiver for it to use on my Traxxas rustler vxl
This is my problem now, I have 8 RC cars that are on gt5 so to change now I need something that either has same receiver or at least reasonable price receiver's
Would you recommend this as a first radio? All my rc are only 2 or 3 channels at best, i think. And i use radios they came with, but i am up to 6 RC. Various ones, Arrma, associated, Rlaarlo and on e pro boat. Or would you look into a radiomaster setup? Any info you givecme is greatly appreciated
Been looking at getting a secondary digital radio. still been having problems finding a compatible microSD card for my DX5 pro. I’ve been looking at the regular nb4 but I might just go straight to the nb4+ after seeing this video. my question is how many models can it hold? I can’t find anything about model numbers on their website.
Kindly I have a Spectrum DX5C at the moment and I use it with my Limitless v1 and v2 and I an trying to reduce the spinning of the wheels but it is nearly impossible, so I was looking at the Flysky MB+ or pro maybe I could have more features to reduce or increase the power at different points or time during a drag strip. Do you know how many points can be adjusted? For example the Sanwa M17 and the DX5C pro have nine points regarding the throttle speed. Something else is the gyro of Flysky because I never had one and I do not know if it is good?
I'm so torn on this lol. I want this NB4+ so bad but I need to use my MT-4S a lil longer before I upgrade. My sanwa has been good to me but man I love that interface alot better than my dot matrix screen and toggle switch. I need one lol
Really nice radio I'm one the crossover sideways radio guys this will change everything for me thank you for reviewing this radio very nicely reviewed I might add..
ive been wanting a new tx/rx for awhile now im so sick of the spektrum dx5 i know i wont use but 25% of what it can do as im just a basher but looking into a crawler fro the channel and i plan on some miniz racing soon so i think this is the perfect one ive talked to @flysky about this radio and i dont think theirs a better one
Dang that price tag kinda hurts. Guess it's for those folks on the next level. As much as I'd like one, I would have to sell a rig to buy one. Really I just need 4-5 channels, and be able to program endpoints, and widen out the neutral position a touch. You know, when you got the not cool kind of drifting going on.
Had one of these from overseas before they sold them in the US. Great radio my only issue, and the reason I got rid of it, was their receivers are absolute trash. Half of the receivers I would order would be DOA.
I’ve never understood why so many controller companies insist on making the steering wheel look like a rim, tire and brake. Again, it’s a steering wheel, I’d like mine to look like that.

A lot of people say it's better than the sanwa m17. Can't beat it especially for the price
I'm on my third NB4. I've got the Pro model this time and couldn't be happier with it. When it comes time to get another remote, i would get a fourth.
Why the hell buy 3 of them! 😂

I just got one a few weeks ago and its awesome. The screen alone is worth it.
Excellent video! Was looking for a new controller to replace my aging gt3b and gt3c radios. I am completely sold on this. Thanks!

Noble feels so good in hand.
Agreed!
How many models can it hold?

I've had the original for 2 years now. Be prepared to fall in love
I had the original back when you could get them for $180, used it for about 3 years and sold it recently for $200. Can't beat that.

Lol. White shoes
Ok Floss.. 😂 👊🏻
Will you review the radiomaster MT12 ?
Does the nb4 work with dumborc receivers like X10FG or P6FG ?? Thank you!! 😊👍🏻
No, it only works with Flysky AFHDS3 receivers.
Watching this after ix release review 😂 this was way better than IX
Just ordered this
Would be great if it has a phone option too 🍻
Does it also come with an antenna tube ?
can the steering wheel be locked in place so it doesn't accidently slide around?
No, but it won't just move around on you while you are using it, it takes a good amount of pressure to move it.
Can it be connected to all transmitters on all rc cars? :)
Cool video! Im prob gonna stick to my MT12
Live to see it as a high end crawler, a track car a basher and 4wheel steer monster truck
Do you still need the extra dongle to bind to Mini Z?
I believe FlySky sells a receiver for the Mini-Z
Yes, it needs the RM005 module to bind to Mini Z
i'm getting a new radio soon and i can't decide whether to get this or the Radiomaster MT12.
Does the control range become any better?
I would say it would with that antenna receiver. It all depends on which receiver you use.
Can I use the receiver's from my gt5 transmitter
No, the NB4 series needs AFHDS3 receivers.
No, they're different protocol. NB4 is AFHDS3 protocol
This is my problem now, I have 8 RC cars that are on gt5 so to change now I need something that either has same receiver or at least reasonable price receiver's
@@mick8678 U can consider for the Flysky AFHDS3 classic receivers which are cheaper than the enhanced ones

Could you maybe do a video on installation of the receiver and binding for a nitro buggy please?
Would the receiver be compatible with my Kyosho nitro Neo 3 please?

Nice ! How many models can it store ?
I believe 20
Up to 25 models
@@MeowTrooper17 Up to 25 models
NB4 20, NB4+ 25
200 for the Radiolink RC8. That's the only reason why i chose this one. For all other features, the NB8 seems better.😢

Why would someone hold there radio backward and crossover with their hand??
Because left handed radios weren’t always offered. So some left handed people found cross their hand over was the easiest for them.
For leftys, not rightys

Maybe look into the original nb4 it's about $189 -$200
Check
Out the mt12 radiomaster

🤘☕️🤘
A little too fancy for me
I’ve never understood why so many controller companies insist on making the steering wheel look like a rim, tire and brake. Again, it’s a steering wheel, I’d like mine to look like that.
I agree, does not make sense to me.
Don't buy it then! Thing looks sick!!!
Because steering wheels are boring looking, a road wheel with a drilled rotor and a caliper is just badass looking.....simple as that.
I'll stick to the new Dumborc 10 channel
Hell of a lot cheaper than my PX7.
There was a time yiu would get mocked for having a radio like this
My how times have changed.
What a radio… I just can’t justify the cost… especially when there are really nice radios for $150-$180
which ones?
…radiomaster mt12 is better in every way and to a fraction of this ridiculous price…
Wheel looks to far from grip, cheaper options out there.
No thanks, for that price I'll stay with futaba !
Which Futaba model you get for under $300? A 10PX is about $800.
