Finally new design and interior
It reminds me a lot like the Mazda CX-3 but bigger. That's what I like about it. The styling is so striking especially in white where it shows off all the body lines. The interior is a totally different ball game. Much more refined. We had a CX-3 for four years and it was wonderful to drive, handled well, but it was just way too small. We bought it mistakenly thinking it could be a family car. Not even close. There wasn't even a center console, just a squeaky creaky armrest that got in the way. They added a console on later models probably due to customer complaints. But I honestly think this will be the replacement for the CX-3 anyway. This one is much more practical and can actually be used as a family car. Much more cargo room, passenger room, and better ground clearance.

I have a CX-5 and have been looking to downsize to something a bit more compact, but the engine noise of the CX-30 sounded quite a bit louder and rougher than the CX-5, can you confirm?
I think it's because he was pushing it. I don't think the cx-5 with a turbo charged engine would be more quiet than this guy.

I heard a lot of road noise, and the engine loudly straining under hard acceleration - I think I'd prefer a turbo model.
Thank god we don't have a CVT in this one! If I found another CVT I was gonna die!

That’s good about Mazda, they don’t put CVT on their vehicles, and aren’t planning either.
Mazda’s car are so well balanced and dynamically well designed but when you want power to pull all that momentum out of a corner, it disappoints.
Why in America the beeping from the startup is so long? In Europe we have no beep at all

That's what happens when you cheap out and go to torsion beam.
@@kevman949 I had a car on sharp speed bumps that use 2 do that same noise if the rear e d tires dropped 2 quickly. 2008 Nissan versa hatchback with the torsion beam so it sounded familiar if you hit the speed bump just right. Smh
Kev erino You hear that noise when the front axle hits the bump. Nothing to do with the torsion beam
@@ConnecticutDashcam when the front hits it sounds like a regular bump. When the rear hits the sound was crashy and loud. Did you not hear how loud the 2nd hit from the back was?
Lol that shit was loud & bad but I will still get it for how comfortable the seats are and the fuel economy. Everything in life is a trade off, can’t have it all in one package.
Wish they had named this the CX-35. It bothers me that they have a CX-3 and a CX-30.
@chancellorjake It might have been a CX-4, but afik Mazda’s China partner has exclusive rights to that name, for another vehicle. I wouldn’t mind Mazda selling some CX-8’s here as well.

Very noisy engine, easily audible even at 1500 rpm. I thought those times are over.

Bowie he should go in the racetrack to have some fun. He is on a public road where there is other drivers driving. There is not a lot of people but it’s still a public road that is met to be shared so safe driving is essential.
