    No way in hell am I gonna trust some Ding-Dong from a local gun store over myself to install parts on my firearm.

      Agreed - I did my SRT in 30 minutes, I probably could have completed it quicker, but I took the time to ensure proper form/fit/function.
      My next addition will be the flat trigger 😬😎

    One of the best tutorials for about 80% of the audience. I’ve done a few HK trigger jobs and even with the special tool, the trigger return spring is enough to drive a man crazy. 😂

      What special tool is that?

    • @TheLegoJoker
      @TheLegoJoker ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@_k911 it’s a pair of needle nose pliers that are grooved out near the ends to better hold the TRS. Huge help when installing that sucker.

      @@TheLegoJoker OK I have those, and I actually bent the middle of the stock Spring. Now I have a heavy return spring and I am paranoid as hell of doing that yet again….

    • @TheLegoJoker
      @TheLegoJoker ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@_k911 I feel your pain, man. HK should have the standard springs for sale on their site. I’d go that route before installing the heavy spring. It’s very robust but I don’t like the trigger pull with it.

      @@TheLegoJoker I know, I’m contemplating on hiring a gunsmith because of that reason right there. One gunsmith told me it was $30 and he does them all the time but if it gives him a hard time it may climb to $55-$80 so I’m losing my fucking mind. I’ve already spent 500 on upgrades. This better shoot like a dream.

    I put the short reset kit in my P30 V3 DA/SA, it was a pretty simple intall but in my opinion I’d say the short reset kit is a must over the trigger shoe. Great video!

    Dude that reset looks way better than my stock LEM. This is probably the best trigger configuration you can get from HK besides the 4.1 CDA probably.

      Yes. I'm in love with my LEM with the short reset and straight trigger.

    Thanks for sharing this. I'm a big HK fan and own four firearms made by them. None of them have the LEM trigger. However, I'm interested in hearing your thoughts after you shoot with the new parts.

      I did put 100 rounds through it immediately after picking it up and it does seem to make it easier to shoot. I'm not throwing my shots left as much.

    If anyone wants to know about the special tool. It’s a needle nose pliers that is shaped to cup the spring. Take a cheap pair of needle nose pliers you don’t care about and grind them to make the shape. Make your own special tool.

    I like the original trigger for it. I didnt see any problems with it. You just gotta get yourself used to it thats all

    Right after I placed my order for my P30L, I immediately placed my orders with GG & HKparts (light hammer & nickel sear springs) I already did both my USPs to include polishing all the internals. I made my own TRS tool. I've been taking my HKs apart for 30 years.
    How does that trigger feel in relationship to the trigger guard bump?

    I own one HK, as of yesterday it has 400 rds through it. Once I hit 500, I’ll start carrying her. She’s completely stock, and I actually dont mind the trigger. Maybe I’m just used to crappy triggers lol because I dont mind the DA/SA. I actually shoot her the best out of my collection.

      You know, it's not terrible. It's serviceable. I'm thinking down the road I'll get an HK P30SK with the V1 trigger as a carry gun and leave that one stock.

      If it was the only gun I shoot I'd look right over it. I have and like to rotate between many carry pistols and noticed that when I volley I will short the reset constantly. Which would/could be deadly in a defensive encounter. Still it's defiantly overcomable. H&K has sold millions of P30s that are carried the way they were built, and many still have zero problem. Me being a gun guy just want to tinker and make things better. I will say. Installing these along with the LEM trigger and a better sear spring took this gun from being good, to my favorite go to carry gun. It made me fall in love.

      @ResplendentRaider ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MatthewsSloan yeah, I typically dont mess with any internals when it comes to my carry rotation pieces but thinking about upgrading some of the parts.
