Enter a place where darkness reigns and pure evil thrives.
It's an ordinary nightshift for Sergeant Aaron until he receives a distraught radio call for help. A routine investigation quickly spirals into a fight for survival when you come face to face with pure evil.
A GLIMPSE INTO THE TERROR
From Fire Emergence utilises the tried and tested third person over the shoulder view point. Players will experience the chilling atmosphere as they see and guide Sergeant Aaron through eerie environments. Each step intensifies the suspense, heightening the feeling of vulnerability and the sense of being pursued by an unknown malevolence, creating a tense and immersive experience.
FIGHT TO SURVIVE
Terrifying monsters will stop at nothing to bring about your demise and end your progress. Use your limited resources wisely to fight off the determined evils looking to end your life.

I really liked the intro where the officer gets the messages over the radio. Felt really tense and exciting. Awesome job so far!

The officer climbs up and down ladders like he's doing his best to be the sexy cat in the bedroom, but he's never done it before so it's just awkward and funny - and I love that!
This feels heavily inspired by the RE franchise (inventory system and weapons focus), and I am here for it
Also, the trigger discipline is a nice touch. Methinks Dev knows their stuff to some extent. 🍿🍿🍿

I recall the British police do have a gun for "Emergency" but like in the game, they are placed separately in the car, and they don't carry it around. Only selected few Cops with gun training are allowed to have them as "Marksman" in case of emergency where they are called upon to have the gun pointed at hostage takers or terrorism attack.
That first encounter with the lady could've been played a lot more tense. Chris is right, you're a cop and you're that trigger happy? I know she was approaching menacingly but that moment could REAAALLY be juiced, like backing away slowly telling her to stop and not come closer. Identify herself, youknow.. cop stuff. Only to not have any other choice when she attacks. Probably try to contact dispatch again. But like Chris said, I AM nitpicking too cause the rest of the game looks wonderful tbh
Take in to account one person is making it. It might be hard to make that encounter longer.
Whoa, it's good ol' "shoot first, ask questions later" Police Sergeant Aaron. So much for protection of life and property. 🤣 That was a really enjoyable, well-constructed demo, particularly from a solo dev. I hope we get to see the full game eventually. 👍

The demo could of used a few more enemies, but it a pretty solid demo. I think what the developer should do is run a Kickstarter for this game and use the funding to hire some people to help polish the game a bit, but also get someone to help with the animations, and maybe get some voice actors for the game as well.
yes for all we know CJU killed an innocent woman, so in theory there was 0 enemies :D
A short cinematic of the first enemy encounter would be a good idea.

I just want you to know that if I was the Dev I would put a tape recorder in THAT drawer of the woman on the phone with you JUST to mess with you. Also probably several pages of non-relevant test answer keys.

Nope, but I'm in England and last year, in the nearest city to me, whilst I was out shopping, I saw a GPD police car drive by. That's a heck of a detour from Gotham. I was very disappointed that I didn't get to see my favourite hero, Batman 😢
Chris there's,some new game where you play security gaurd allowing employees in to work at some flesh pit. It seemed like something you would like. It's called 6 meat under.

The fact one person made this blows me away. It's VERY close to RE4 quality graphics. Voice acting is a bit silly but with one guy? I am thankful to have VA at all.

As always another good video with an intriguing demo. I'm definitely hooked wanting to see the full game. Protagonist animations are a little goofy and the camera is a little close (maybe different camera options in the full release?) but for a solo dev it's really good.

The visuals, and especially the framing of this looked really good, and fairly authentically British as well. Very impressive, and really quite believable. Until we went and shot that woman in the face, anyway.
Definitely looking forward to the full version of this one.
Why bother with signal shot first - straight ahead with a headshot seems like a proper way to success.

I like any sign of updated technologies like paying by phone. Though no paying at the pump? I can go all day without ever talking to anyone because of the “convenience “ of self serve for everything. I guess old equal creepy in general for horror games! Looks good- thanks Chris!

2:19 I’m confused… that voice acting sounded amazing to me lol they sounded like two people actually having a conversation, instead of two separate characters just speaking lines at each other. Little bit of banter mixed with professionalism… I’m confused as what about it you thought wasn’t good? I hate all these demos bc the ones I like I never see get played and aren’t available on what I can play games on… so it’s just a constant tease … basically horror game blue balls…. But I duno this one is starting off great imo and sounds interesting

Today I had my dental implants fitted for both my front teeth/crowns. I hope you won't be in too much pain. Apparently I'll have tenderness and pain for a few days.

@@SteinzVsKnives your body has been through a lot, and all in one day. I didn't think they were allowed to remove all of a person's teeth at once. But yes, it will be draining on you. You're bound to feel rough for a bit. Hopefully not for long. The anesthetic usually makes me feel exhausted for the rest of the day and groggy the following day. When I had 'oral surgery' (not a proper hospital operation, just a bit more intensive than normal dental procedures) the dentist cut into my gums and made holes.(Using a little drill) for where the securing things would go for fixing my teeth in they numbed me up but also gave me some sedatives. They recommended it and I agreed. I was so exhausted and drained for a few days after. I didn't get any pain when the teeth were removed months before, and at the 'oral surgery' when the posts were put on to open up the holes and shape the gums. It was the stitches that gave me discomfort. They were obviously in the roof of my mouth. But the pain and discomfort doesn't last long. However because there were some slight complications during the surgery I had and bruising inside my mouth. When I woke up the day after my top lip was super swollen. It looked comical as if someone had given me too much lip Botox. I could feel how big my lip was. I hated the feeling and how big it locked even though it made me giggle at first. The swelling went down and was gone by the following day. Strangely my lips are slightly fuller than they used to be. Which I don't mind as they were too thin before. They aren't big of course. But they are a nicer size. Anyway, I hope you have a speedy recovery. Keep me updated
Some of the animations are a bit strange but this isn't bad at all. I do like this close angle of the over-the-shoulder cam for horror games which restricts the 360 visibility. It's a nice balance of 1st and 3rd person.

Looks pretty good! Certainly an improvement over all the pixelated games. There are so many good alternatives to the figure out there, you would think the dev could have found a better model.

my only gripe with this is the ammo that is out of place. why would this location have ammo specifically for your gun scattered around? it doesn't make any sense!

I agree with who ever said it would've made more sense for the PC to say some thing like "Stop , Police!" , "Who are you?" or some thing & such and not just be able to shoot 1st & ask questions later 😅 ( also it kinda made no sense that he had absolutely zero reaction to shooting some one / some thing even though he's a cop unless his Freeze set in after the Fight or Flight - or some other reason that it is just part of his personality or he has PTSD or some thing , every one has different reactions to "danger" both perceived & actual threats... ) It's a shame you couldn't kick in any doors or deal with the half destroyed door by reaching your arm through the hole , call for back up , etc.
