Hearing your voice played back is somehow one of the creepiest things I've experienced in a playthrough. I actually exclaimed out loud when it started happening!
The AI voice sounds familiar. As if some of the indie horror games weren't already similar enough because of their use of the same locations, monsters, assets, and sound effects. Props for that little voice-recording twist though. Most people play in silence, though, so it's mostly for streamers, it seems.
Fuses… mannequins….. uncanny ai voice acting 🫠 would love for some quality, unique indie horror games to come out and not just the same unoriginal thing in a different font over and over.
Shaking Polaroids goes way back when they were literally paper packaged in chemicals. After the photo was taken, you pulled the paper out of the camera and swiped a swab with another chemical (fixer) to coat and protect the image. The "shaking" was done to accelerate the drying process. Otherwise, they were just lain flat to dry.
A. I now want a game about intergalactic squirrels. Really badly. B. Maybe English isn't the dev's first language, but they couldn't even keep the protag's initials straight? Lol
It is a common misconception to shake a Polaroid picture, well modern day ones anyway, it maybe helped a little on older ones to dry them faster, but tbh it was better to leave them dry on their own, the chemicals were there for a reason
This game was "punching above its weight"! Some unique ideas and a surprisingly good execution. That giant artist-woman (there for 1.45 seconds) was really creepy, as were the corpses at the end. Good stuff, Chris: Thanks!
Yeah this was alright, fairly generic but above average I'd say. I really enjoyed suddenly hearing your ghostly voice in the last part of the game, that was a great touch. Using Bella could have been a cool mechanic, too bad she basically disappears for more than half of the game. Shame about the AI voice acting, I know we'll have to get used to it, but it's even worse when there are mistakes left like it was the case here.

Well its wasn't a bad game, my issue is that it is another of the hundreds of Horror Engine style walking sims we see appearing almost every month. Like the only new thing this game added was the Blair Witch Dog however it seem like that mechanic was just tacked on to the game. You only have the dog at the beginning and I don't think you need to have it do something in order to progress the game and you loose the dog very quickly so really what was the point of having a dog with the mechanics to command it anyway? Like again its a functional game and all, but like every other Horror Engine game, other then the Dog which was so under used the game doesn't do much to make it stand out for the other Horror Engine game.
For some reason as I watch always lurking in the back of my mind is CJU left the car and front door open… hahaha! Please close the doors for us viewers..

This game had such an interesting mechnanic with the dog, but got rid of it way too soon. But not a bad viewing experience, either. Thanks for playing this!
Having a human partner, at least they watch out for themselves. The dogs go in to do their jobs and disregard the dangers. I've seen footage of officers freaking out when their K9 was in danger. Yeah, it's their job, but we can't help being protective over animals.
Always glad when the dog makes it ♥️ I think the weird leather balloon that showed up in the window picture was the stuffed dog asset? Maybe a bug, but it was the creepiest part lol
16:37 lol I’m guessing that the cop who had already seen the inside of this house and knows there’s bloody handprints on that window, bloody smudges on the floor and seems to be how someone broke into this house… is going to avoid contaminating that area by climbing through it as well 😊 maybe… ya never know. Bella reminds me of bullet too… I loved bullet and now love Bella!!
That was fun. What's with these law enforcement types walking into unknown situations in the middle of the night with no flashlight? That's just weird. As for the AI voices, they are nearly Oscar worthy by comparison to what I've been running into in the casual game genre. Game got great in the "second half." The voice playbacks and atmosphere were great. Bella was neat but ultimately not significant. Poor translation and AI voice, even though I try not to judge in case English isn't the native language, tends to kill the immersion. Still, it did look pretty good, and I have to admit that all of the jump scares got me lol. Thanks
A sudden blast of Dean Martin from the radio scared the sh*t out of me. Not a terrible game I guess but you seem to have got hit by a major bug. It's also pretty clear at this point that a silent protagonist is preferable to the current AI. They all sound like a constipated Chris Redfield.

Man, this game has like, multiple different gameplay ideas and then keeps them separate or doesn't use them, which is a pity. Why have controls for the dog when you get to have her for like five minutes and then the functionality is not part of the game? Bella could have been used to indicate there are ghosts or secret areas around so you know to take photos, because you really have no real need or indication to take pics. Both the ideas have been done better separately (Bullet in Blair Witch and photos in MADiSON) and the fact you are a cop is pointless when the main character has no knowledge of seemingly well known crimes in his own town nor is detective work any part of the gameplay (taking photos for evidence is pointless when things get supernatural). Maybe some urban explorer with their dog would have made more sense as the playable character.
