Thank you very much for creating a game that is unpredictable and thoroughly enjoyable. Love the way you handled the credits - perfect.👍 Please do another one.
your anomaly game is the best one out there, at least for me! you put a fantastic story in it and I love how we build the painting also love the style! very good job!!!Thanks for making this game
I think this game elevated the anomaly genre to a very high level. This is a classy game. Beautiful setting, with history, and a storyline. The setting of late 1800's London, the Whitechapel/Ten Bells Jack the Ripper time frame, and even a mention of Inspector Aberline. I love Victorian settings anyway, but this was a great 'haunting' game with great anomalies, and as always completed to perfection by your brilliant commentary Chris. Well done, Sir.
You are so underrated, that seriously needs to change. I'm realizing how hard it is to do your job. I've been watching your videos since my oldest was 9 and he's 19 now. My goodness! Anyways I love your content and vids. Keep it up, and LOVE the game ❤❤❤❤
I love when anomaly games tell an actual story behind anomalies. And here we have a victorian ghost story! Not bad! My favourite was the giga barman crampled in that room.
@MuckyPup115 it isn't, I visited once, and almost ALL of this happened, I even went through one time, and the bar was on the ceiling!! Or maybe I was in Yarmouth or wherever it is
i love the fact that the majority of anomalies tell a sort of story that slowly becomes more and more clear as you see each and every anomaly.;i don't know if its the first to do this or not but its amazing that they where able to.
This is such a good game, with its atmosphere, references, storyline, and creepy, unexpected threat. There's even a secret ending when you uncover all the anomalies.🙌I love that the game feels purposeful rather than random. And, of course, your commentary adds the comic relief, Chris. 😂
Yea, I like it when different developers take on a somewhat trending format. Like the "find out who is human and who's the imposter" type of game that seems to have been (or still is) popular.
Whoo~~ A gem of a game, and you are my favorite horror gameplay channel, glad I found yours. You do what you do so well~ Some of your comments make me *laugh, brightens my nights~ And I want a trip to the pub.
I'll be honest, my first reaction was "another spot the anomy game, already?"... But this one did pretty much everything better : it's actually spooky, mixes big and subtle anomalies, and has a real story that I was invested in. Very good game ! A little bit of trivia : we get an earlier clue that this takes place in Whitechapel, when one of the newspaper mentions that an inspector Abberline is investigating the strange occurrences happening at the Ten Bells (at 7:45 in the video). Frederick Abberline was one of the lead investigators in the Jack the Ripper case IRL.
Absolutely loved this take on the anomaly genre! The gasp I let out towards the end when I realized what was going to happen... excellent setting, the anomalies we did get to see were both creepy and fun. I'm gonna pick this one up! Thank you for playing it Chris, and great job dev team! Loved the portraits at the end. :)
Great anomaly game! You did a great job getting through this. There are some more obvious anomalies, but there are some really subtle ones too. I think the game is really well done, and love the background lore on the extra objects on the shelves. I hope you play it some more to find more anomalies. Thanks for playing, Chris.
Oh Chris, dear boy. Those women you mentioned are merely crying for joy that you've taken notice of them.😊 I must say, this was definitely the best of the anomaly games you've played so far. It was impossible to predict what was coming next, and it was very enjoyable that starting over wasn't a repeat of the last go around. Great choice! Thank you, Chris.
I saw someone else play this game and I KNEW it would be right up your alley, so I was thrilled to see your playthrough come up on my feed. I hope you found the remaining anomalies on your own at least, as there are a couple more really good ones where the player is in actual danger (and a lot of people get caught). But I think it’s great that you left the remaining ones to entice the viewers to play for themselves. Are you going to play the full release of Hollowbody now that it’s out? You played the demo and seemed to enjoy it.
@@zillagodedits136 Yes! I believe that Gab Smolders and Fooster both found all the anomalies in their play throughs. I could be wrong about Fooster, but I’m pretty sure he did. He also had some interesting background information on the real Ten Bells pub!
Love your playthroughs! Your commentary is always so entertaining. 😁 And this game is really good, a clever take on the "anomaly loop genre". Have fun finding the rest of the anomalies!
No way I'm so early 😂 I've seen one other person play this game, I like the way they executed the anomalies. It's a fun genre but can get boring easily. It's nice when there's a storyline.
I love watching people playing anomaly games! I usually miss all the anomalies Chris missed. I can imagine that it could have been a bit frustrating to watch these otherwise.
Brother, the craziest thing is that I started watching you from Silent Hill Alchemilla or however it's spelled, and your format hasn't really changed one bit. Nor should it. It shows a serious level of professionalism, and the fact that you've been able to keep an optimistic attitude towards these games is what really separates you from the rest. Keep it up man. Watching you gain like 10x more subs than when I first saw you is incredible.
This was my favorite anomaly game you've played so far. The location is exceptional and love love love that there is a backstory, that just takes this game to a whole new level! Thanks for playing! ❤
This was a very enjoyable one. I loved the look of the game and the setting / story. It got really spooky as well, especially since you could die. Thanks for playing Chris! 💗👍🏼
I suspect you are already aware, but if you either play all the way through a second time or just get all the achievements, you unlock a secret/better ending. 🙂
Having experienced infidelity myself, this game brings back the worst memories i have. But I still enjoy Chris' humor that is why you have helped me through my battle with depression and regret. More power to you CJUGAMES!
This is one of the best ones in these games so far. And your mind going mad if something changed is hilarious. Also me and husband screaming at tv that no Chris go back that way😂😂😂
8:10 "Am I the ghost?" Edit: I watched Manly play this, and CJU is right. Can't wait to see his reaction to finding out that he is playing as a ghost and what happened to them.
Simple premise, well executed, just the right amount of disturbing and surprising, good atmosphere and a coherent story to match. Impressive little game.
Loved the game and your playthrough was fantastic! I’ve played this myself a few times but enjoyed your gameplay even more. Best anomaly game so far out there
Was super excited to save this game (and a couple other recent uploads of yours) till I got to work today, I always love your vids and this was a great way to help pass the long 12 hour shift.
I couldn't tell if you missed it or not, but there IS a missing coaster anomaly. Unfortunately, it's on the table to the left when you first enter the pub and you had a habit of doing your best to never look at it as though you'd burst into fire if it saw you looking. Also, last I checked, weren't murder pubs the norm in Whitechapel?
You didnt finish the game. That door at the top of the stairs in the first part of the pub is tied to the true ending. I think you have to get a few more anomalies to trigger it. When you play beyond the original playthrough there’s a list that shows up on the wall across from the toilets that shows what anomalies youve found and how many you lack. You gog a bunch of boring ones. You got a few of the better ones but there are still others including the most iconic one which I figured would be in your playthrough. You also get to go into the cellar.
I appreciate the way this game handled it this subgenre. I kinda have to agree with another comment I read that these "spot the difference" horror games have been feeling a bit stale, kinda like PT clones. But I loved the story woven into this one, and it was handled very well! A good example of what you can do to innovate a popular game format! Now I want one of these spot the difference games where you are some guy alone in the woods and you have to check outside your window for any differences in the yard for signs of a monster or something roving through it. Like a werewolf or something and you need to confirm the difference and bolster that side of the cabin to fend the monster off or something.
These kinds of games were made for your channel! Atmospheric and creepy with a touch of the everyday- like the kitchen sink realism of horror games! Appropriately british haha
I hope you go though it and do find the anomalies. It in my opinion the Best one of these games. It tied in a story to the game. and the anomalies reflected the story as well (well a lot of them). A 10 out of 10 .
Loving the look of the pub, it’s giving Shaun of the Dead vibes to me. Love your videos btw, I never knew about the treasure trove that was indie games. You’ve opened my eyes. you’ve got a fan across the pond 😊
You ran from the spirit anomalies as if you could die or be harmed by them. Also missed out on the full anomaly checklist play through unlocked at the end.
Not even four minutes in and I've come to the determination this is gonna be a hard one for you. There's odd effects at the edges of your view. Orange fog coming under the door next to the blood. And various bits o blu-ish fog everywhere. Ah well, it'll be fine.
I love these types of games bc like you said you tend to psyche yourself out and go 'was this always this way? Was this a different color? Were there always 5?' You think you know 100% that your memory is great then you get thrown into something where its proving the opposite and also testing your sanity. I always joke with jobs that my attention to detail is great because of games like this(and wheres waldo lol)
The way I cracked up when she started crying and you said "that's what happens when I normally talk to women." 😂 Love your stuff mate!
F for CJU 😂
I thought I was the only one lol
this is true cuz I am married... and it still happens ... but to me 😂... I am the one crying now
I could really go for a pint after all this.
A mega pint even.
You know Chris you missed a perfect opportunity to swap the "Click on The Notification Bell" sound with the Bell sound from this game.
Awww, you're right!
I was just as disheartened when he hit the multiple bells anomaly and said "What the hell?" instead of "What the bell?"
From a ten battery man to a ten bell man! Loved the video
Thanks so much for checking out our game, we really appreciate it!
Such a cool game! You guys crushed it :)

I wonder if his arms are too long.
ive been in the ten bells pub its in whitechapple London its part of the jack the ripper tour
Indeed it is but this story is fictional and not tied to the actual pub.
@MuckyPup115 it isn't, I visited once, and almost ALL of this happened, I even went through one time, and the bar was on the ceiling!! Or maybe I was in Yarmouth or wherever it is
Oh my goodness! They have their own website with plenty of pictures. That is SO cool. Thank you, tintedspider.
I like how they used Jack the Ripper lore (the pub the victims frequented and the inspector that investigated) but never actually used Jack himself.

I really love when you play games about finding anomalies because of how focused you are. Thanks Chris, I appreciate it.
Ever since that Exit 8 game, games like this have become more frequent. I like the many different versions of this type of game.
Yea, I like it when different developers take on a somewhat trending format. Like the "find out who is human and who's the imposter" type of game that seems to have been (or still is) popular.
I would absolutely LOVE for you anomaly hunt the rest of this game. There are SO many things you haven't seen, they do not repeat, and you'd love it.
Really? Now I want him to play it again, only a bit more slowly. Dang.
The best anomaly game so far. Actual story, a rarely used setting in horror games.
A benevolent barstool following you would be a pretty great companion, tbh.
