This song made me cry. bringing my childhood memories of me my brothers and our friends playing, hunting and foraging in the forest around our village. Too bad the forest we use to know where long gone, so now no cricket at night let alone hearing the magnificent owl. And the river we use to swim and fish have been dead since a decade ago. In Philippines we have a lot poetic and prophetic song about the tragic future of our nature but no body listened.
The temperate rainforest I grew up in has been sold to developers who are hacking it up into subdivisions. There is no way to express the full extent of the pain I feel over it. My body is incapable of letting the true immensity of the feelings come through. I feel you, and I listen to this song over and over again for similar reasons. May nature overcome the fools who believe she has no spirit and is theirs for the taking.
Hey ! That’s what I do! When I saw these guys perform they used all these original folk instruments made me feel like I was trippin I’d like to see them again 3:05
I don't know how else to describe it other than to say this song sounds like sitting on a hill in the countryside on a warm sunny afternoon, watching the light slowly fade.
I backpacked quiet extensively throughout Central Asia ending in Mongolia and this brings me back to that blissful moments, sleeping in Yurts, drinking salted butter tea, eating horse meat. The people of the Central Asia nations are just amazing!!!!
What a beautiful song... Feel like I can touch the wind, smell fresh green grass and see some horses running far away. It's like soaking into the nature.
Mother Taiga is my home I smell the sedge and the grass The rocky taiga is my home I smell the junipers and the grass Come, riding on your reindeer stag The shot roan doe tied to the saddle Come on then, riding your reindeer The feet of the maral doe tied to the saddle lyricstranslate.com
I've seen HHT perform many times. About 14 years ago, I was hanging out with them in a friend's apartment after a NYC gig. I said to Kaigal-ool, "When you did Odugen Taiga tonight, it made me cry it was so beautiful." He smiled. "Me too, but from my heart."" You can read all about this and my three trips to Tuva in My Adventures in Tuva."
What a beautiful song full of deep emotions it’s by far the most amazing song I have ever listened to in my life. Every time I start listening to it it takes me to another dimension and some times my eyes tear not sadness but with joy and appreciation of life god bless Huur Huun Tu
My only criticism of your statement is I like “Orphan’s Lament” better. These guys are truly amazing. I am a trained musician and I have no idea how to think about this. I guess I’ll just sit back and enjoy it.
Every time I listen to this song, I feel as if I've been transported to a majestic, pristine land. In this land, I am surrounded by vast open steppe, peaceful forests, crystal-clear lakes and rivers and majestic mountains. Here, I lie underneath an enormous cerulean blue sky, whilst feeling the frigid, Northerly Siberian breeze.
Çok güzel bir parça, gerçekten çok duygulandım... Paylaşım için çok çok teşekkürler. Bütün türk kardeşlerime selam ve sevgi yollamak istiyorum. Tengri Biz Menen !
This song made me feel like I merged into the nature and this reminded me my village situated between deep forests and hills of kalahandi, odisha,India. Although I consider nature as god-sky as almighty and forests as mother. My holidays in those hill tracts of pine trees and pine fruits laying out and the sound of waterfall. I cried after hearing this really.
Wikipedia says that "The taiga is the world's largest biome apart from the oceans"... it is giving us a lot of oxygen to breathe. Without it, we are nothing. So we can truly speak of Mother Taiga!
Fung Eye I didn’t. I had to use the bathroom is all. I just felt like not explaining why I was suddenly leaving the room. It’s not because I felt like everything was revered by itself and I needn’t fret or feel like not enough. Not at all. Earthlings are magnificent. Like a horse. Noble. This is us at our best. Thank you Hht. I couldn’t pull it off yet. So thanks for setting the pace.
Everyone is kind, people care about you, the earth is in good shape, good will overcome, love will win. The creeks/streams & woods/forests that I grew up exploring in were also destroyed to construction.
I feel this pain.
Those songs are prophetic after all. Do not worry though, all will heal in the end and an ever-green earth will rise.
This song moved me to tears as well. Very powerful. 🥲

Pardon me while I ascend to heaven

The Taiga is of general mongol etymology, so it's our responsibility to protect it.
Hail mother taiga

Listened to various sites- so far, KEXP's audio on this group has been the most pleasurable. Thanks! Starts my day with a peaceful rhythm.
Not listening but entering a 3 dimensional spiritual state of nature and peace. It's a feeling which words do no justice to.

Alguien sabe que significa?
Sounds like China traditional folk song.
guitar reminds me so much of Steve Tibbets' Yr album. No doubt he was influenced by traditional Tuvan and Altai music.
