heard this song and 5 mins later I found out they were playing in Los Angeles, bought my tickets and went to see them same day I discovered them! What a blessing!
Lucky man! I'm late to the game.
That’s a moment of awe.
You have arrived. This is the pot of gold at the end of the internet.
superd222tube so true!
Indeed
Happy to see I'm not the only one who made it here
Finally. Enough is enough
Unbelievable 😌😊
I absolutely love ukraine, massive support from tbilisi ❤️
i love both Ukraine and your country i was in Georgia about 1999
Big up to Georgia!!!
My five year’s son always asks for this song. It touches our soul.
I heard this for the first time sitting on a bus in Mexico, speeding down winding roads filled with people. Something in my heart opened so wide and I fell in love with life. I fell in love with the grandeur and mystery. I fell in love with everyone there. Thank you thank you thank you
That's beautiful
💜💜💜 🌘🌘😉🌘🌘💜💜💜
This is exactly the feeling ❤thank you for putting it into words..
I'm from Mexico, I discovered this band just now. I think I need to travel in my own country and feel like you say. Just can thinking of you listening the song looking through the window of a bus.
@@djinnsearring I'm from Ukraine, we have a damned war going on, but I listen to music and it's easier for me.
I was recommended by a Ukrainian refugee passenger to check out DakhaBrakha after seeing that I was listening to Daft Punk and Radiohead. I am glad I remembered the next day the name of the band. This was the first song I clicked on and it absolutely blew me away. Full-body chills, tears welling up in my eyes, and so on. Everything music should be.
The verse is quite simple, repetative. But even for a Ukrainian ear it's not about the words, but about the sound I guess. Because I feel the same as you
also check out “Шо з-под дуба” and “Vesna”. They’re absolutely amazing

I'm Brazilian, currently living in Portugal... I have no idea how this appeared on my spotify recommendations, but I'm amazed. Loved it!
Love from India 🇮🇳. Love listening to this song holding my baby in my arms ... so comforting. Although can’t understand any of the lyrics ... love the band and love their music. These guys prove that music has no language, it just needs to touch the soul.
Never stop searching for good music. Almost all good music is hidden. This is a perfect example. This song hits my soul like nothing has in a long time.
Elsuchino I feel the same!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏
Yes, this is deeply, deeply soul moving. That says a lot! For anyone who is not effected by this music... says a lot too.
I came here because of their NPR Tiny Desk Concert...so GLAD I did. Love DakhaBrakha now!!!
very true!!
Can you please suggest me some great music, like this one!
The perfect smile doesn´t exist....*Nina smile,
looking at her companions playing, doing what they like most* Thanks for this beautiful song, the world needs more of this :)
Yes she has the cutest smile ever 😊
we all can agree that this piece deserves tons more views.
How does this song break my heart in two but fix it back together again straight away? The most perfect performance - and my most listened to band all year on spotify. Love to DakhaBrakha, Peace to Ukraine x
I am from Cambodia and I don’t understand a single word of the song. But don’t know why I enjoy watching it many times. Beautiful and strange
So you know why you listen and watch, finely! Love needs no reasons.

Because it's about unhappy love and somehow you feel it.
Same here, it’s so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes. I just want to hold somebody tight and slow dance to this. 😢
I am a Dutchman who used to play the cello. I am now living in Italy. I love the music of Dakha Brakha, it is really wonderful, thank you very much!

This is my best discovery in 25 years, love this song to bits. Having spent 30 years in Africa this track has a certain tonal similarity. Will be visiting Ukraine asap.
I agree. Similar to a lot of "traditional" stuff in south Africa
Have you ever heard
“Deep Forest”???? They too are amazing!
But this !! This is the best !!
@@Eyecandylvr Deep Forest
Is that a groups name or song? I was blown away with hearing this and still love it. I wish I knew the language.
Taking my kid to their concert at The Ford this weekend!
DakhaBrakha are simply the best musical group in the world. "Baby" is one of the best songs ever composed, and their performance of it is breathtaking. It's coming on two years since I discovered them (June 2019) and I can no longer even imagine life without DakhaBrakha.

I invite them into our home every day.....
My Spouse is beginning to become a bit jealous.....
Their ability to use counterpoint and harmony
seems to be one of the most beautifully expressed
versions of perfection I have ever heard.....
Simply and pure vocal gifts to the spirit of the World.....
@@danielhutchinson6604 Yes, beautifully said. My wife's not jealous, because she's as smitten as I am. In my portion of the bruised and battered spirit of the World, there simply can never be enough DakhaBrakha.
Seriously, as a musicophile I can list on my fingers the before and after for me. At 11 there was the before and after Pink Floyd. At 16 the before and after Aphex Twins. Mid 30's the before and after Kendrick and at 40 the before and after Dakhabrakha
This song consistently brings me to tears, I can't explain why, I don't understand what they are singing about, but the emotion they bring and their love for music never fails to amaze me. I am mesmerized
It has the same effect on me
Aint that awesome Lucie? Aint their music and what you feel and say marvelously awesome?
Lucie Dubail same, just discovered it, crying and smiling at the same time
Maybe it's because the song is about unhappy love and somehow you feel it.
Peace in Ukraine
I just saw them live and man it was astonishing…their live performance was so much better! Goosebumps the whole song
Wonderful. Now I'm listening to this band for the first time. A great combination of ethno, jazz and house. The best ethno-jazz band in the world. Respect from Sofia, Bulgaria
Is it really possible to become addicted to music? I wonder, as not a day has passed since I came upon this group that I haven’t needed a ‘fix’, and this song is intoxicating!
Just started do discover Ukrainian music, this is the first song I listened to, and I am already in love.
I listen to this song like medicine.

I've listened to this like 20 times today
I can't stop listening to them, it is an addiction....
Whoever gave thumbs down to this song are sadly desensitized people who arent capable of absorbing such penetrating melodic sounds… the instruments, the piercing sound of her singing voice, just wow. God is in this song.
I sat front row center, directly in line with Olena and simply fell into a trance for much of the concert but their final song, this one carved a spot in my mind and heart forever.

The chant in the middle brings me to absolute tears, I don't know whether that it's touching and activating some parts of me deep deep down, far far in, or whether it's just the shear beauty of it. Comfort and serenity.
Same for me, every time i hear it I cry so much. It goes directly to our souls.

This redeems the Internet. Amen.
I never really expected that man to have such voice , wonderful , they make very beautiful slavic harmonies with their voices and they wear lovely colourful dresses , what an amazing group .
Damn love this music, best stuff I’ve heard in years and I’m 67 grew up in the music revolution of the 60s, 70s and since then but this gives me the same feeling I had in the 60s discovering all the new music coming out then. I’m in love with the piano woman :)
This is prettiest song in existence.
This song gets better every time I hear it.

I am not religious, but every minute of this baby-journey I was like: "God Almighty!!!!!" And then ... when this lady on cello started singing ... I felt genes of my ancestors from Carpathian Mountains playing and screaming like little children. Now I am terrified. I think I want to go back home to my Croatia - wherever it may be!!!!
It's beautiful place, welcome to the carpatian mountains
Ogromna preporuka za najbolji hrvatski etno: Kries. Njihovi koncerti su predivni slavenski šamanski rituali :)
Man this song, the performance, made me emotional for some reason. It transcends language, I felt this somewhere deep. Incredible.
Lena and Irena doing the harmony that sounds like Two Teeage Girls, who got stuck Babysitting for their Baby Brother, but they are out in the Yard digging some passing Dude.
They seem like they project a bucketful of Hormones in the way their Harmony and the tempo that Nina lays under the Harmony is as lovely as a Ripple.
The addition of the Baby Brother with DooWap noise that would fit in with Crazy Horse, Then Nina lifts the top of you Noggin up with the anguished cry of a jilted 16 year old Robert Crumb Gal.
The Folmore would have loved them......
They legit have no bad songs. Amazing

I was so lucky along with about 350 people to hear an see them Live in Chicago on the closing Sunday afternoon of the World Music Festival years back. They did not perform this. Once you go DakhaBrakha you never go back!
Ukrainian music is pure magic!
They use old traditional songs and texts but their music is completely out time and place. ..Marko says at each concert they make experiments with different genders of music with old traditional ukrainians singings
MAGNIFICENT! I stumbled upon DakhaBrakha 3 nights ago, and I was blown away! This is from the first performance I saw.
Fantastic!!! Greetings from the Netherlands!!!

Wow this band!!!! What an amazing surprise to find tonight! I dont believe in bests..but damn, one of the best bands I have ever heard! Simply amazing!!!!
"Simply amazing!!!!" is the absolute truth, but words can't really begin to describe how incredible they are. It's been 8 months since I serendipitously discovered DakhaBrakha (one of the great days of my life), and I still can't really listen to anyone else. I've had binges with other musical artists (Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Howlin' Wolf, Wagner, and a few others) but nothing like this. They engender sheer joy with their music.
