    Here’s the lyrics.

Ooi, kok le khovu ortuzunga Chyraa-Khoor

Ooi, charash kara kadyn kystan Chyraa-Khoor
    Chashtyp yglap choraanymny Chyraa-Khoor
In the middle of the green steppe, Chyraa-Khoor,
there’s a lonely pine tree swaying in the wind.
In its shadow I will rest-
    I, happy and relentless traveler.
In the middle of the yellow steppe,
    there’s a lonely pine swaying.
The air is ripe with aromas of the steppe,
easy on my soul. I’m a relentless traveler.
It’s difficult to be away from the taiga,
but I will ride to Tandy steppe.
    Among its people, the Oyun-Salchak,
    I will reside.
There, in the land of Salchak,
you would come first - the winner, Chyraa-Khoor!
    From my beautiful wife,
    I hide my tears.

    CHYRAA-KHOOR ” The Yellow Pacer “
In the middle of the yellow steppe,
    Chyraa-Khoor
We rest underneath a lone birch tree,
    Chyraa-Khoor
The cool wind brings the scent of juniper,
    Chyraa-Khoor
I’am a traveler, and my spirit is joyful,
    Chyraa-Khoor
An orphan who herded sheep on lands belonging to a certain feudal lord (noyon) had nothing except Chyraa-Khoor, his beautiful, strong and fast horse.
The noyon grew jealous of the horse and wanted to take it away. The orphan herder fled to others lands, and in this song, describes his journey. He began in the upper regions of the Khemchik River, in Bai-Taiga, and fled towards Tandi. As he travels along, he gives his own poetic names to the natural sights along the way.

If you think Mother Earth can't withstand us humans, you're sadly underestimating her power. Not to mention, you're forgetting their ancestors were responsible for the deaths of over tens of millions during their conquests. That said, wondrous music.

@@vampyrsten Sygyt is done by putting your tongue in a kind of L-shape, putting it back to where you would pronounce an English R while doing a Khöömei voice. You then shift your tongue in different positions there to get the desired overtone. It takes a bit of practice, but after a while you learn the positions of the different notes on the pentatonic major scale and you can sing along with everything!

That bass line is so great (as well!). It alternates between different rhythm patterns and keeps a simple idea going on and on, totally carrying the song in the background. I love all the elements of the song, but I wanted to highlight the bass part of it. Beautiful music.

Found them a few years ago when I was just curious about throat singing music then stumbled upon them. They're absolutely stunning and this tune proves why. I wonder if I’d like to see these guys live. They’ve certainly got the playing down. They don’t have to make everything overly studio perfect. It may not be good for moshing, but there could still be some good dancing with songs like these. Maybe the more atmospheric ones will give me something resembling a high, just like that time a Mongolian throat singer came to the high school I went to.
