Michael Atorn hello Michael, is this what a holistic thinker would come to the conclusion of? I love this guy, he loves me too, but he’s reserved and has negative expectations. I do feel hurt, but I need to take it. He’s he’s own person, he has every right to pull away, and me leaving him alone is something I have been getting used to doing for a while. It breaks my heart, but he was there for me like no other man in my life .. right when I needed him the most... he made a huge time investment for 2 years, and I am just kind of lovingly frozen at this time. I am scared as shit to talk to him about relationship status, because I know I’ll get macerated.. lol probably inner fears, but our scenario is like this (he’s much much older than me, he’s had a very hard life with the women he loved passing away, he’s got cancer, he lives with a woman he’s settling for because she’s the only one who “really” needs him but she’s a bad alcoholic, he finds me a “mystery”, I am many states apart, we’ve only seen eachother once in person, when I visited his home town, I want to move closer to him but because I am paralyzed from a neck break and need lots of help I can’t easily move in his parts.. and I feel like he’s doing what I talked about a few times .. instead of texting me heavily every day he’s giving me time to figure out how to make it to him again, and he’s got plans.. he offers his help, I’m very shy accepting it because I can’t picture him taking care of my flesh.. I would not sleep well if he had to do that (it gets very personal)... anyway.. it’s hard.. but from my end it’s honest.. at least I know I was honest. I know that things will happen when they’re right. I have loved another guy 15 years ago but he never knew just how much.. he ghosted me.. and taught me hard lessons.. he loved me the most because he had the guts to do what’s hard for anyone to do.. and my understanding of love is that he loves me so much he would want me to have better than him.. he’s sacrificing for what he thinks is my ultimate best.. and that is very precious..understanding love in a nonselfish way opens the doors to amazing hard to see sights. I appreciate your contribution “he needs more investment”... I am agreeing ..

Keep in mind that your life is as bad as you think it is, but also as good as you think it is. And our mind is the thing we are able to control. I cant know how you feel about the situation, but you have never given up and no matter how bad something hits you, be happy that you have something in your life that makes you unique instead of all the people who live their day to day life without even having critical situations to show that they can "survive" the worst shit. The first world war as an example was the worst thing for the soldiers ever, but their legacy will continue. Dont think about the result, but think about you. You are really really strong and you dont need me to say that. You know it by yourself.
I do ignore yes..but i do it out of love i don't understand why all women think that when man ignores u he's shet or that..i also ignore because i just love that person knowing the fact that our match won't get us far in the road ahead so i try my best to move back while it hurts

I remember going on Saturday night dates with women from church....church! We'd have a good time, laugh, have fluid conversation... Then literally the next day at church, my date from last night would ignore me like I didn't even exist. Walk past me in the hall and never look at, acknowledge, make eye contact with me, nothing! If you're still on the "duty roster", you might be the one he decides to throw some crumbs at. Don't take it personally. Don't chase. Just leave them be. Force them to keep playing these games until you lose respect for them and eventually , they lose you. Let them sabotage themselves. They think "reverse psychology" works. Show them otherwise.
That is exactly what I did. I knew I was the side dish and that certain days of the week were more practical. One day, I just plainly said that I didn't deal with people with no backbones.The person wasn't happy about it, stopped contact for a month, then reached out one day only to ask to lie to the current girlfriend ( who was in fact an on/off GF but to no clear admission from the person I was seeing ) and said that we only would see each other once in a blue moon when it was a bit more often than that...Good riddance I say !👍👍👍
My father was emotionally unavailable so I spent way too much of my life chasing crumbs of affection and attention thinking that’s what I should do because that’s what I was familiar with. Happy to tell you that the moment I stopped doing that is the moment I set myself up to attract the man of my dreams, who I am now married to and have been happily for 5 years. You don't even need to move on really. Sometimes it's a simple as he's not ready for it or didn't know enough about you yet. Plenty of occasions i've seen people that weren't interested in each other but together a year later.
I know this is two years old, but my god, I felt so related and I just wanna cry. He sometimes ignores me, and then when I do the same, he starts talking to me again, all sweet and drops the "let's meet", but then when we are supposed to meet, he falls asleep, goes out with his friends (nothing wrong here tho, it's just I realize that I'm not a priority in his life as he is in mine), or just avoids talking about hanging out in the first place. His goal was only sex, and had no long term plans in the first place which is why you should be bold in the beginning of any relationship to ask the right questions in order to know the real intentions. 3. He was serious about you, but after getting to know you he realized you are incompatible. Sometimes they don't have the proper communication tools to explain to you that point, or they are afraid of your reaction. This one may come back if you improve to become a better version of yourself and they are impressed. 4. He feels he can do better. Green grass on the othet side syndrome. This type might come back if you hold your ground, and just keep improving yourself. Although most likely by the time he is back you might not want him anymore, or found someone better. 5. He has so many mental issues, financial issues, lost his job, lost a family member or pet, went to jail, depressed, etc... so he can't think properly from his mental/emotional instability. In this case, you need to let go. Either he pulls himself together and realizes he wants to fix it with you, or you are gone. It's up to you if you want to waste time waiting rather than meeting people whi have their life together.

I dated a man who ignored me for days at a time. As soon as I would move on and accept he was gone he would reach out to me texting me “haven’t heard from you in a while”. Always made me feel like I didn’t do the most to reach out. When I’d call him out he would give me the excuse he has bad depression and has to shut his phone off sometimes. Turns out after I did my investigation on him. He was in another relationship and the days he ignored me his girlfriend was in town and staying with him. Now I have a man that even when we fight and are hating each other we still text back and communicate.

When I'm on WhatsApp, and I see he's online, but hasn't responded to my message, I'm not going to chase him. If I allow him to only contact me when he feels it's in his best interest, then I'm basically letting him know that I accept that behavior. I don't. I do genuinely like him. The bigger question is, does he? We agreed to be each other's Valentine. That's nice, but again, I'm not going to read into it more than a friendly gesture.

But men who have shown me their love and attention all the time, later they have gone, because they have stopped love me (in general they met more easy girls or they started truly love diffrent girl) :). In general if he ignores you, because you make him shy, and he needs time and space to understand his feelings, that's good sign, he propably starts love you deeper than you can dream :). My boyfriend at the beginning ignored me because he was shy, he respected me and he didn't want give me hope and hurt, he tryed understand his feelings and when he was ready to be in relationship, he told me about it and I was suprised :). So don't be angry, don't hurry up, if something is growing up slowlier, sometimes it's better than if something is happening too fast :). Be patient and don't panic ;). If you should be together, the you will be together. If he doesn't love you now it doesn't mean that he will start to love you later and if you love him, it doesn't mean that you will love him later, so check and wait what future will give you :) Bless you all!

I think my own problem was I was too eager, too forward and too blunt. I've always called a spade a spade and say it how it is. I don't think some people can handle it. I think some women have invested so much into the relationship that it makes it difficult to walk away. Also, people tend to think irrationally when their heart is involved so it’s not so much about self respect, etc.

Probably not. I am guessing from your last name, you are... Filipino? I could pass for a number of things. I am mixed with, predominantly, Japanese, Korean, and Black. I grew up with the Asian side of my family. The only direct Aunts and Uncles that I have not met are on my father's side, and he is predominantly Black... with dark skin. If my mom has another sister, she didn't tell me about you. LOL. There's probably a lot that I don't know about my family. I only speak English, fluently. Michael Atorn hello Michael, is this what a holistic thinker would come to the conclusion of? I love this guy, he loves me too, but he’s reserved and has negative expectations. I do feel hurt, but I need to take it. He’s he’s own person, he has every right to pull away, and me leaving him alone is something I have been getting used to doing for a while. It breaks my heart, but he was there for me like no other man in my life .. right when I needed him the most... he made a huge time investment for 2 years, and I am just kind of lovingly frozen at this time. I am scared as shit to talk to him about relationship status, because I know I’ll get macerated.. lol probably inner fears, but our scenario is like this (he’s much much older than me, he’s had a very hard life with the women he loved passing away, he’s got cancer, he lives with a woman he’s settling for because she’s the only one who “really” needs him but she’s a bad alcoholic, he finds me a “mystery”, I am many states apart, we’ve only seen eachother once in person, when I visited his home town, I want to move closer to him but because I am paralyzed from a neck break and need lots of help I can’t easily move in his parts.. and I feel like he’s doing what I talked about a few times .. instead of texting me heavily every day he’s giving me time to figure out how to make it to him again, and he’s got plans.. he offers his help, I’m very shy accepting it because I can’t picture him taking care of my flesh.. I would not sleep well if he had to do that (it gets very personal)... anyway.. it’s hard.. but from my end it’s honest.. at least I know I was honest. I know that things will happen when they’re right. I have loved another guy 15 years ago but he never knew just how much.. he ghosted me.. and taught me hard lessons.. he loved me the most because he had the guts to do what’s hard for anyone to do.. and my understanding of love is that he loves me so much he would want me to have better than him.. he’s sacrificing for what he thinks is my ultimate best.. and that is very precious..understanding love in a nonselfish way opens the doors to amazing hard to see sights. That is exactly what I did. I knew I was the side dish and that certain days of the week were more practical. One day, I just plainly said that I didn't deal with people with no backbones.The person wasn't happy about it, stopped contact for a month, then reached out one day only to ask to lie to the current girlfriend ( who was in fact an on/off GF but to no clear admission from the person I was seeing ) and said that we only would see each other once in a blue moon when it was a bit more often than that...Good riddance I say !👍👍👍

Whether it's "no good reason" or even a "good reason", there's no sense swimming upstream.
You don't even need to move on really. Sometimes it's a simple as he's not ready for it or didn't know enough about you yet. Plenty of occasions i've seen people that weren't interested in each other but together a year later.

He sometimes ignores me, and then when I do the same, he starts talking to me again, all sweet and drops the "let's meet", but then when we are supposed to meet, he falls asleep, goes out with his friends (nothing wrong here tho, it's just I realize that I'm not a priority in his life as he is in mine), or just avoids talking about hanging out in the first place.
I'm tired. I know now that I'm much more into him than he's into me; that he is just not ready to get in a relationship; and probably, that I need to move on, as much as I wanted this to happen.
It is not worth my energy. I'm not a teenager, I'm almost reaching my thirties, I'm sick of games and I need someone who desires to see me as much as I want to see him everyday.
I'm gonna go cry now, but that's it.
1. He lost interest or got bored because he is the avoidant type (check out attachment styles in adults)
2. His goal was only sex, and had no long term plans in the first place which is why you should be bold in the beginning of any relationship to ask the right questions in order to know the real intentions.
3. He was serious about you, but after getting to know you he realized you are incompatible. Sometimes they don't have the proper communication tools to explain to you that point, or they are afraid of your reaction. This one may come back if you improve to become a better version of yourself and they are impressed.
4. He feels he can do better. Green grass on the othet side syndrome. This type might come back if you hold your ground, and just keep improving yourself. Although most likely by the time he is back you might not want him anymore, or found someone better.
5. He has so many mental issues, financial issues, lost his job, lost a family member or pet, went to jail, depressed, etc... so he can't think properly from his mental/emotional instability. In this case, you need to let go. Either he pulls himself together and realizes he wants to fix it with you, or you are gone. I dated a man who ignored me for days at a time. As soon as I would move on and accept he was gone he would reach out to me texting me “haven’t heard from you in a while”. Always made me feel like I didn’t do the most to reach out. When I’d call him out he would give me the excuse he has bad depression and has to shut his phone off sometimes. Turns out after I did my investigation on him. He was in another relationship and the days he ignored me his girlfriend was in town and staying with him. Now I have a man that even when we fight and are hating each other we still text back and communicate.

When I'm on WhatsApp, and I see he's online, but hasn't responded to my message, I'm not going to chase him. If I allow him to only contact me when he feels it's in his best interest, then I'm basically letting him know that I accept that behavior. I don't. I do genuinely like him. Guy who ignored me, later he became my boyfriend, now we are 4 years together, so it depends. But men who have shown me their love and attention all the time, later they have gone, because they have stopped love me (in general they met more easy girls or they started truly love diffrent girl) :). In general if he ignores you, because you make him shy, and he needs time and space to understand his feelings, that's good sign, he propably starts love you deeper than you can dream :).
My boyfriend at the beginning ignored me because he was shy, he respected me and he didn't want give me hope and hurt, he tryed understand his feelings and when he was ready to be in relationship, he told me about it and I was suprised :).
So don't be angry, don't hurry up, if something is growing up slowlier, sometimes it's better than if something is happening too fast :). Be patient and don't panic ;). If you should be together, the you will be together. When a man ignores me, I find something more productive to do. I'm, generally, the first to admit to doing something wrong, so that there is no "build-up" in the background of my relationship. Probably not. I am guessing from your last name, you are... Filipino? I could pass for a number of things. I am mixed with, predominantly, Japanese, Korean, and Black. I grew up with the Asian side of my family. The only direct Aunts and Uncles that I have not met are on my father's side, and he is predominantly Black... with dark skin. If my mom has another sister, she didn't tell me about you. LOL.

Sorry to break it to you all but a lot of people (like him) say things like: “the right guy will pay attention to you”. I understand and get it in general, but I’ve been wholeheartedly accepted and treated right by the very wrong kind of person, who years later revealed their ugly true colors to me that overshadowed their false persona. I’ve also been ignored a bit and avoided a bit by the very right kind of guy who was hesitant and honest about his doubts, and who later revealed they were normal with apprehensions and insecurities that completely made sense. Don’t accept posers and don’t discard normal people having normal feelings and reactions. Just saying.

Same happened to me. I gave him an ultimatum, he chooses to change and we go to therapy like he promised, or we are over. He ghosted me. I usually go back but the whole point is, I’m not settling for disrespect.
