life hack: you see that shower curtain at 2:06 ? i have that and use it as a tapestry and you would never know it was a shower curtain! it was only like 20 bucks or something which is much more affordable than most tapestries. so if u ever wanna cool tapestry to hang, check out some shower curtains ;)

E. Palmtrees i've been thrifting since i was 10 or 11 so it definitely takes practice to find good stuff! don't give up after just one time :) i'm sure you'll find some gems if you keep at it
E. Palmtrees keep trying! After 9 years 😂 i finally found a jacket in my exact size and near perfect condition..£6.99 from £199 about 45% wool. I'm excited to go again because that trip taught me a lot of things.... Patience is key. I've also only tried going into a thrift shop less than two handfuls of times over the 9 years... Americans made it look so awesome but I went in to the ones we have in the UK and they all smelt of 'basement' and looked terrible/dirty/worn. The one I got my jacket from was the first non offensive smelling store so I could stand in there long enough to find the jacket.
Honestly, I would watch a long thrift haul. 30 minutes? Yes. 1 hour? Yes. It doesn't matter to me bc I'm not doing anything else lmao
Edit: I also live through thrift hauls since where I live everything is hecka expensive and the stores are hecka picked over.

i've been thrifting pretty much my whole life and i had to thrift for the same reasons when i was younger. i think thrifting is a lot of fun still and reselling is a good way to for me to save some extra money for college
People find the best stuff in thrift stores, buy them, even though it’s not their size, get it dirt cheap, then sell them for more than half the price they bought it for. Those who actually need to thrift are left with the scraps.

thank you! i live in ohio and i think the reason stuff is so cheap here is because there's always so much stuff being donated and they need to move their inventory quickly. also i'm not sure if i said it in the video or not but i went on 50% sale day so any prices mentioned were half off :)
