You can buy an adapter that allows you to put in screwdriver batteries.
What do the screwdriver batteries do, may I ask?

Here are tips to make your V8 last longer!
1.) NEVER charge it after using, not while the battery is hot. Heat is every battery's enemy. Let it cool down for a bit.
2.) NEVER use the high power mode, it is very bad for the battery as it depletes it. Just use the low mode.
3.) Which leads me to point three, NEVER fully deplete the battery. Charge it then when the bar it one, use it a bit if youre doing spot cleaning and charge it -- ideally only up to 80%. Keeping battery between 20% - 80 % prolong's lithium ion batteries.
4.) CLEAN the compartments and rollers at least once a month! Including the filters! Dyson filters are sold for cheap on ebay. You ca get like 3 filters for $20
I wish I read this a couple of weeks ago 🤦🏽♀️ I’ve been putting my Dyson to charge when the battery dies out without thinking about point 1. Omg and the filter part 😳. Thank you so much for this, I will start to do better. I just hope I haven’t done any hard damage 😩
There's a reason why the filters are cheap. They will NOT filter down as good as the official dyson filters. Also the filters are washable and reusable for the life of the machine
Her V8 absolute and mine are different, mine didn’t came with the mini motorized head, it was a hair screw tool. Then mine didn’t came with the low reach adapter and mine came with a light pipe crevice tool not the regular one. Also, mine came with 3 extra tools, like the mattress tool the mini soft dusting brush and up top adapter.

I got the same flooring in my kitchen and I HATE IT!! It’s such a horrible coating. It reminds me of what is in hospital toilets. It’s so nasty and rough 🤮
