Purchased my Dyson v15 Detect back in Nov 2022. I have robot vac that runs a night on tile floors with area rugs. It has been working perfectly taking care of extra cleaning the robot vac can't reach (stairs, couch, behind furniture/washer/dryer, high corners, etc..) or spot cleaning. Purchased an extra fluffy head to change out and wash as needed. I really like to vac in the dark now with the laser light dust detector.
Been using Dyson for many years presently I’m using the Animal 3 and the V15 Detect . Just an update : I got the V15 because we had our downstairs change from carpet to Hardwood at first the light I was thinking is just a gimmick it has proven to be one of its Main features I dust the floor with a treated commercial floor duster 1250 sqft is a lot of floor but the light will show your where there is still dust … Amazing .
We have owned and still own several Dyson products. I can’t explain the level of frustration we are experience with Dyson Support in resolving a problem with our V12. In less than a year the Motorbar cleaner head is inoperable and doesn’t work. So far we have been sent two replacement cleaner heads. Both were the wrong heads. It’s has been such a time consuming experience, with any resolution in sight. We are looking into unloading and selling all of our Dyson purchases and will tell everyone we know to reconsider their own purchases.
Why did you get several before considering it’s not right for you? There seems to be some incongruity with your story vs your actions? Surely Dyson must be a phenomenal product if you were several products in. It sounds like you’re more frustrated w/ customer service than the product itself.
@@terrycrews1760It’s entirely possible someone buys multiple products from a company BEFORE they start having issues. They could even buy multiple products in the same purchase.
## Make retractable vacuum cleaner pipe that’s extra long to suck dusts off top ledge of wall painting and ceiling. To design a retractable, extra-long vacuum cleaner pipe for reaching high places like ceiling edges and wall paintings, here’s a concept outline: ### 1. Extendable and Retractable Tube Design * **Mechanism**: Design the pipe as a telescopic tube, like a radio antenna, allowing it to extend and retract easily. This could be achieved using multiple nested tubes made of lightweight but durable materials, such as aluminum or reinforced plastic. * **Locking System**: Include a locking system at each extension point to keep the pipe sturdy when fully extended. * **Length**: Aim for an extension range of at least 6-10 feet (or more if needed) so it can reach standard ceiling heights or high wall-mounted items. ### 2. Flexible and Adjustable Head * **Swivel Head**: Design the vacuum head with a swivel joint that can rotate up to 180 degrees, making it easier to adjust the angle when vacuuming edges or corners on high surfaces. * **Brush Attachment**: Attach a gentle, removable brush that can prevent scratches on delicate surfaces like wall paintings while effectively removing dust. * **LED Light**: Include a small LED light on the head for visibility, especially when reaching dark corners or ledges. ### 3. Enhanced Suction Power * **Motor Power**: Ensure the vacuum motor is powerful enough to maintain strong suction through an extended pipe, which could result in air pressure loss otherwise. * **Airflow Optimization**: Design the pipe with minimal bends or contours to reduce suction loss. Consider a wider diameter pipe to maintain airflow efficiency. ### 3 Practical Steps to Implement This Concept 1. **Material Testing**: Source lightweight yet durable materials that can handle repeated extensions and won’t become too heavy when fully extended. 2. **Prototype**: Develop a working prototype to test suction power at different extension lengths and identify areas to improve stability. 3. **User-Friendly Design**: Add grip points and controls on the handle for easy control, including buttons to extend/retract and adjust suction. This design could improve convenience and reduce the need for ladders or stools, making high-cleaning tasks safer and easier. For inspiration, check out vacuum extension pipe accessories available on the market and consider modifications for your specific needs.
I have dyson v11 and v8 (which broke and no longer can use it). Need help on deciding which one should I go for next dyson..v8 ( much cheaper than other models) or v15?
I love dyson i got one, had a minor problem with it and in less than 4 minutes they fix it for me, it is worth the money not just on how it works but costumer service. (I didnt have to pay anything extra for them to fix it)
Battery charge is horrible on our dyson, suction is good, but our LG vacuum we use downstairs, is a lot longer in battery charge and has better suction.

I this video @ 8:50 where can I get this Wall Mount for my V15?🤔 Anyone know? I like it! TY
Stop saying Atto Watt for AW. AW stands for Air Watt. An Atto Watt would be 1 x 10 -18 of a watt or 0.000000000000000001 Watt
