I passed on buying one for $999.99 during he black Friday sale because of the lack of information from non sponsored actual buyers videos, I am kicking myself now.
I think his kind of stuff might be really helpful for suburb riding. We have a few kids in the neighborhood who have mini bikes and go karts. We don't mind them, but the sound of an unmuffled OHV engine isn't exactly desirable. I just ordered this because I have some ideas to modify the design. I'm considering adding blinkers and making it a moped.
Our local Tractor Supply has 2 in stock, I'm going to go check them out on my next Honda Shadow Spirit ride. The idea on these is, it beats walking. When I got to go from one end of the farm at night to the other to get a tool out of the shop... it would make that go a lot faster. See if you can dig out the technical specs or part number of the hub motor and/or controller so we can build our own, It's probably a stock Chinese hub motor kit, and I'll edit in the Napolean Dynamite jump scene for you... :-) Maybe with the Bionic Man Jump sound dubbed over it for ultimate epic.
Just rolled 1100 miles on ours. Not a single issue so far. Well had to patch a tire. Been waiting patiently to see about some cfw. It is perfectly capable of doing 40 mph.
I just got mine a few weeks ago and I'm having an absolute blast with it. I found out that the only thing that the bike needs to be registered as a moped to make it street legal are rear view mirrors. I ordered a set of clamp on ones and now I can ride it through the city strees. I'm working on adding some turn signals so I don't have to use hand signals, and some less aggressive tires so it's a smoother ride on paved roads. I plan on using it to get me to and from work during the spring, summer, and fall. It's an awesome mini bike. Also, what phone mount do you have? I've been looking for one but all the ones on Amazon seem really cheep or extremely expensive.
Thanks for watching! They really are fun bikes. As for the phone mount I got it on Amazon and I just checked and it’s called the “Joyroom” Motorcycle phone mount. Was pretty cheap I ended up buying two of them. Not perfect but pretty rugged imo. I won’t post a link but you should be able to find them- have fun!
This should be the one, but remember im not an affiliate or anything, lol! MICTUNING Universal Motorcycle... www.amazon.com/dp/B07FCCJR87?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Probably the same. I suspect that a lot of Greenworks motors are really just 18/20v because all their batteries including commercial are all within steps where they could just use voltage step downs plus there’s some of their power equipment that literally looks identical across battery lines so there’s no way they’re manufacturing separate voltage motors just for different batteries
@@Lazerider Yes I would keep the charger in the house and charge them I just wanted to know if I could ride it in the snow and in the winter or if it would damage the bike?
Lol me a 700
Cool have fun
All my stuff is 80v, but no 80v mini bike yet...😮💨
Amazing how it took those hills now I’m getting one lol. And love how u have the bar end mirror

Just remember, the noise is what keeps them noticed by other motorist
Haha I’m at 98 miles! Colorado! Let’s go!
I’m definitely getting one. Looks like you’re in south west Portland. I’m in SE, so the weather lines up exactly 😂
Torque is pretty good 👍🏼

11 miles on mine, mine is a little noisy up frint, can’t figure it out, added a cushion on seat and a bag under neath, really like it.

What is that bell thing? left handle bar
Is it road legal? Can you lock the battery compartment?
Just got mine! Could you send a link of the mirror you purchased? I'd like to get one and not sure what kind to get. Thanks!!

It's ok to ride on road or sidewalk?
How much faster would it go if you hot wired 2-80v or 82v Greenworks batteries?

Is there a governor on this?
any way to make it go faster?
There’s a way to make anything go faster, if you want it bad enough ✌🏽
Can you ride these in the winter? I live in upstate ny
Yes, of course. Lithium batteries can be used (discharged) in temps below freezing, they just can't be charged in freezing temps.
@@UltimateAnarchy so I can ride this in the snow if I wanted?
Bring that charger inside in winter and charge your batteries when they are also at ambient temps above like 40ish and you’ll have no issues 🤙🏽
