I'll be sure to cover that in a future video going over my personal branding kit stuff! (Spoiler -- I used a plugin from AE Scripts called "Boa" or something like that!)
Highly underrated, great poster animations! I wanna do this full-time in the future. Do you think it's realistic? As a freelancer or working at a studio?
Better to start at a studio first. So then you will have practical experience and better understanding of your own capabilities. Not to mention you'll need to have a strong network to start getting work as a freelancer.
+1 to the above comment! I think its great to get a variety of experiences under your belt to help round out a fuller perspective of workflow, process when working with others (especially in a pipeline,) and will help set you up for success with that network whenever you do decide to venture out on your own! And definitely work at your portfolio and practice talking about your work!
Hi Audrey, thanks for your insights and cool video. The style and approach feels like diy magazine printing. Thanks for reminding me of my school time years ago, where you cut and paste and photocopy style elements into the school newspaper or for a poster/zine of a rock concert in the venue in my town. Good times!
I'm interested in how you animated chain in the corners of the title frames

Fantastic insights! These motion design techniques are not only easy to grasp but also incredibly effective for enhancing animations
