Thank you for your beauty!
Love this. Super helpful.
Thank you for this! A quick refresh well made :)
Hey Would you suggest Pc or Mac for Graphic design?
Both are good, but I think Mac overall! I think PC’s are great for motion-intensive things like motion design or editing. But most newer MacBooks can handle all of that
@ So When you upgrading to Mac :p
I'm in a similar boat where I do motion design tutorials and recently interviewed with a new freelance client. They initially wanted me to do motion work for them, but they also asked me to do some on camera work for them since seeing my channel, which is something I never considered! FWIW I think this video came out at the perfect time as people get ready to set their 2025 goals. Thanks for sharing your story!
Keep uploading your videos. i find them very inspiring and interesting to watch <3
So happy to hear that!
OMG, I've been watching videos like this for ages, but they all seem to say the same things over and over. You, however, did something truly amazing by showing something different! I absolutely love your ideas, and now I have so many fresh ideas buzzing around in my head. You've made learning so much easier-it can be tough to start on my own and try to create something new, but you've inspired me to dive in with confidence. I'm so grateful for this video! Thank you so much, and wishing you all the best. Keep creating amazing content! ❤
Idk why you kept saying you're not charismatic, I think you're actually super chill and likeable, also it felt really good to find another fellow girlie who curses casually cos I was worried if cursing in my vids affected the performance of them. I think I saw someone say that if you curse in the first 10 mins you get demonetized or smth but I didn't look into it tbh. Also super relatable in general, I could never really get into Twitter either:") Very cool + helpful vid to have in the background as I drew, thanks!
Your videos are very helpful Audrey! Thanks for making them!
Also, Im in love w your website!! Did you build it yourself?
I started my channel recently, with one video uploaded yet. I have a question, should I use a symbol as a logo for the channel or should I show my face? It took me a long time to create this name and logo, although I'm not sure if it's the best option.
So it’s funny, I actually started out using my logo as my channel’s main profile pic thing, and then semi recently changed it to my face when my husband helped me update some photos of me - and I feel like for what my channel is like where I talk to the camera a lot, it makes sense to have my face be the first-impression for anyone new who may see the channel! It really depends on the kind of videos and channel you want to have - overall I’ve noticed that having a face give a more personal approach to viewers and helps bridge that gap a bit more when watching the videos too :)
Yooooo, THANK YOU for this vid - First, Damn I can't tell you how much I appreciate your personality, in a YT world that feels so awkward & generic sometimes (SMASH THAT LIKE BTN!!) 😂 But yeah as Im launching my new channel this month @ThaChopShop - I'm kinda rebranding from "shooter/editor" 2016-2022, to primarily "vfx & Motion Design" these last couple years. I'm excited to start posting all the new work. But videos like this help my confidence as well. You definitely gained a sub & a new fan here ✌
Truly the kindest comment 😭 super pumped for you and your channel!!
Running to vidIQ right now! Such a solid and helpful video!
AUDREY LOREEEEEEE! I'm here for it!
Omg a video just for meeeee
We went to college preview at ccad together! I bought you sanctuary shirt haha. Love seeing you in my recommended!
Yes I remember you Kyle!! So cool to see you pop up here via la internet 😂
As someone who loves just about everything you talked about and used in this video. I absolutely adore the process and the final piece. Instant subscribe.
I bought an iPad Pro 2024 with the Apple Pencil and I bought a ProCreate for drawing but I forgot that I don't know how to draw 🥲 But I'm a graphic designer so I think I'll use it for something else.
I'm not a gamer and never heard of Tiny Glades before this, but it looks super calming. Interesting to see a process where you use world building tools like this, I wonder if there's other instances with different games you could do a similar thing. I'm totally stealing "This is future [ ] speaking" haha
Gonna introduce this game to the wife and make some art out of her shenanigans. Loved the vid
This video was soooo relaxing. Love the final piece too! Really dig your work, Audrey!
Such an awesome concept. Great video, Aud! Another concept idea - leave your husband and run away with me
Thanks stranger! And what kind of style do you see that in? Like a sad dark film noir kinda vibe?
Is this a cooking hat?
LOL It's a bandana! But I'd like to think I'm cooking up some hot & fresh artwork here
Cool concept !
love this so so sso much! mega helpful! thank you xx bit does the adding color overlay at the end not just get rid of the noise we added ?
Thank you! And no it shouldn't, especially if you made the final treated type a smart object :)
Hi! Great videos, but I was hoping to see how you connect the bone to the actual png file, thats left out. :/ Could you maybe show that in other video? Thanks!
Thank you for the comment! And totally good call - this was my first real time using Rive so I figured I definitely missed showing some things :/ totally my bad! honestly it was super simple -- you drag your PNG layer under the bone that it should be attached to. For example, here at 12:42 you can see the solo group called "OUTFIT LEGS" that is nested under the L_Thigh Bone -- but in that solo group contains a bunch of pngs. I hope that helps!
@@audreyhavey thank you so much! This helps alot :)
Thank you so much I was looking for ways to practice. New subscriber!
I understand it's a huge process to build this up but I would have appreciated if you would have gone into a bit more detail in how you created the triggers, the timelines and the interactive part overall.
Thanks for the comment! Totally hear that - this was my first real time ever using Rive, so there was a TON of trial and error on my end that I tried to cut out of the final video lol; but I think in doing so I missed giving some of the detail that it needed! But definitely check out Rive 101 series on their youtube channel for some of those details
hi I fell in love with you in one glance, I got a good feeling from your personality and face
I would love to see you go more in depth with your Procreate Dream workflow
I watched, and rewatched this video several times. As a photographer starting with LinkedIn this is gold! Thank you!
what a classssssss!! ty sm for this content! loved it!
I'm interested in how you animated chain in the corners of the title frames
I'll be sure to cover that in a future video going over my personal branding kit stuff! (Spoiler -- I used a plugin from AE Scripts called "Boa" or something like that!)
Hi Audrey, thanks for your insights and cool video. The style and approach feels like diy magazine printing. Thanks for reminding me of my school time years ago, where you cut and paste and photocopy style elements into the school newspaper or for a poster/zine of a rock concert in the venue in my town. Good times!
Thank you! Definitely fits that vibe, just much more digital haha
Great video! The variety of motion design projects you presented is perfect for showcasing creativity across different skill levels.
Fantastic insights! These motion design techniques are not only easy to grasp but also incredibly effective for enhancing animations
hello I just discovered your channel and am absolutely addicted to your videos , great work <3
Highly underrated, great poster animations! I wanna do this full-time in the future. Do you think it's realistic? As a freelancer or working at a studio?
Better to start at a studio first. So then you will have practical experience and better understanding of your own capabilities. Not to mention you'll need to have a strong network to start getting work as a freelancer.
@@onkardesai2263 great points! thanks for your insight
+1 to the above comment! I think its great to get a variety of experiences under your belt to help round out a fuller perspective of workflow, process when working with others (especially in a pipeline,) and will help set you up for success with that network whenever you do decide to venture out on your own! And definitely work at your portfolio and practice talking about your work!
What kind of computer/laptop are you using?
I bounce between using my PC (digital storm) and a Macbook pro!
great
How are you so talented?
Awesome video!
(So. Let's work together and strike bold). Hahaha, omg the cringe... The way you react is priceless, because I also catch myself dying from cringe on behalf of previous work. We all do that at the beginning, don't we?
The cringe is so real haha. It's a necessary evil to look back at the ugly ducklings we've made in the past lol
How come your whole theme is this cool ?
It was definitely my excuse to see you. And I didn't peek at that one part, promise!
I have to confess, for the moment , (i've just spent 400€ for an annual subscription) linkedin seems to be just useless confused shite ......i totally regret to have spent such a big sum for nothing!!!! shit, so disappointed😔🙄
