- And so here is the brand new facelift 2020 Audi S4 Sedan / Limousine. I went to Italy to the Bolzano area to take it high up to the mountains. It’s a redesigned front fascia with slightly different rear as well. In the interior, gone is the awesome scroll wheel from the MMI, and there is now a big touchscreen in the middle. The biggest change comes in the engine, where it’s now powered by the 347hp/700Nm V6 TDI Mild Hybrid Diesel engine, for the European market.

Sorry for the missing Auditography plates. Blame Munich Airport for misplacing my bag with all my tripods, sliders and the Auditography plates were gone for all my days of shooting in Italy. Luckely Audi supported me with a tripod and slider, since I had my camera in my handluggage, I managed. But with no plates :( Anyhow, enjoy the new Audi S4!

The changes to the infotainment to a touch screen, the virtual cockpit, AND the practicality of buttons is literally PERFECT!!!
2015 A4 design was still good n fresh , ahead of its time and advance , that only a minor update is needed to compete with the new rivals. imagine that. Audi

What can I say!! Audi have done a great job with the aggressive styling. Looks like I'll be stepping up from the 2018 S3 after all. Thank you Audi for making such wonderfully stylish and sexy looking cars
Did you end up getting into an S4? I test drove one and got back into my S3 and didn’t look back.
To be honest, Audi have made me both love and hate the upcoming S models. I'm not going to go into details, but I think the true Audi fans/owners feel pretty much the same as I do.
Agree 100% with u. I have the SQ5 and the S3 and one gets me going while the other I keep questioning why Audi? S models should be more sportier .
@@tsifty1 why audi? cuz they are pushed with eco regulations...also stop complaining its an evolution. Many people like that the engine spectrum grew, you can still get a RS or wait for the next petrol engines for S models that are almost here

I have an 2016 A4 s line model and I feel they need to improve on interior tech and have a more sporty look just how bmw’s have. Make most of them look more aggressive. S4 should be and look like a sports car.

I don't understand why fake exhaust tips are so prominent. I guess it does cost money to authentically design those tips. M340i is the same deal. I want to rip those plastic tips off and add an aftermarket axleback just to get rid of that shit. It's vomit inducing.

The S4 isn’t really “ahead” when the M340i and C43 are superior in every single way except fuel economy

I understand the need for diesel cars especially in a place like Germany where people go to work 200km away from their home and get there in less than an hour, diesel is for journeys like that, but to turn the S models into diesel, is just pure stupidity, people who want sportiness and power go for petrol, especially if you drive 90% of the time inside the city and people who want a car just to commute won't pay 60k for a car, a simple 2.0 diesel is enough, so i dont really get the direction audi has taken, but i guess they know better

I don't know about the S4 and 5, but I think the S6 and S7 TDI will outsell the predecessor TFSI versions big time. Especially considering that the S6 and S7 C7 sales were not that good.
I agree with you fully, however it wasn't audi that made the decision. They had to change most of the s-line cars to diesel due to new EU regulations. I havent done full research on this so Im not 100% sure.

Pre-facelife just looks more aggressive at the front. The notched headlights really gave it a special look.
I would have preferred that they retained the sporty shape of the B9 headlights but over all it looks good... enough.

Yep! Artificial. Check the BMW M340i xDrive - Inline 6-cylinder 382 hp / 369 lb-ft. Tighter and better handling. Suspension and steering are quite superior. Although overall - not as cute.

One of the best looking Audi’s that they have brought out the past year or two in my opinion but I don’t think a Diesel engine was the way to go, especially in the UK.
Audi are really pulling it out the bag in 2020, this and the new RS6 👌🏽
Audi is always so innovated with their LED lights. Watch other car brands start using the dotted LED head lights and tail lights now.

Those aren’t dotted LED headlights. Those are the DRLs. And Audi wasn’t the first to use LED lighting.

I get where all of you come from with Audi making a mistake with the TDI, but something like this is game changing. They’re trying to make diesels fuel efficient and real fun to drive. If they brought a certain amount of TDIs to the states, I believe they would sell. Just not as well as gas because us Americans only buy diesel trucks.

I'm not an Audi person at all. I've liked very few in the past. This might sway me...
I'm excited about the animated lights coming on my S5 Cabriolet. I think the touch screen will cause unwanted touches. The knob could be turned no matter how bumpy the road was. I see myself touching the wrong thing. The sales manager was talking up the turbo blue but I just love the tango red and will get it again.
Doubt we'll ever see those TDI Torque monsters in the States again, love those engines. And hey Audi, what gives ? Redesigned but the display still not integrated into the dash? Even BMW fixed that.

Bring back? It has never disappeared, and has always been only on RS models. All RS models, except the RS7, has always been with wide wheel arches.

What they should have done was do a hybrid gas and electric! Like the modern day supercars, electric for off the line so u get that instant power like a Tesla but then normal turbo takes it from there.

Because it's diesel hybrid. The engine does not need a quad outlet. Only petro/gas need them that's why the north American version will have real quad exhaust. Tesla got zero exhaust because it doesn't need them.
The interior is great but not so sure about the outside.
