    they should add mini mushrooms which can be pulled onto enemies to turn them into mini forms. Also mini pipes would be cool then

      Also just like past games, the most important thing drag the Mini Mushroom to Mario which will make him Mini Mario, and that will work for mini pipes then.

      Yea that sounds cool. You could put a mini mushroom on a thwomp to make it a thwimp (like the ones in the new Mario bros) it would easy to translate to the other games. The ice flower being part of the fire flower sounds cool but would want it to be shakable to get a boomerang flower( maybe in Mario 3 it could be turned into the hammer bro suit. I would like a penguin suit if the ice flower doesn't make it. The penguin suit could be the frog suit in the other games (idk about Mario 1 tho)

    What if when you shake the 1-up, you get a 3-up moon? And what if Vines could become the grates from mario world? What if when you shook dry bones on land, you could make them boney betel? What if when you shook a thwomp, you got a cracked thwomp that made the ground shake?

      The thwomp should be the angry sun from SMB3 but returns to its spot after attacking instead of chasing Mario around the level, it can also get bigger & have the same properties as big thwomp like destroying blocks & enemies.

    Mario 3 grabbable blocks that you can throw and slide across, and of course they poof away once they hit something. And Mario World blocks where they flip for a certain amount of time once they're hit.

    I think that the level themes should be shakable in one way or another! This could come as a series of updates each of them comming one at a time with a few appropriate types of enemies. So here's my ideas.
    Overworld => Desert. A sinksand tool would be necessairy.
    Underground => Jungle (with the introduction of shy guys)
    Underwater => Beach. Instead of having a killing floor, a beach themed level would have a water floor, just like the castle has a lava floor. The height of the water would be ajustable by modifying the flagpole height.
    Ghost house => Either "Outside the ghost house" with a gloomy and natural background (e.g. starry night from mario U), and the semi-solid surfaces being a mansion seen from the outside OR a dark ghost house where there's only a small circle of visible light around mario.
    Airship => Night sky. The solid platforms would be snowy mountain and the semi-solid platforms would be clouds, meaning that the level could either be snow themed, sky themed, or space themed.
    Castle => Some sort of alternative boss scenario, where instead of being an axe, there is a "key", that can be given to an enemy to protect, and killing that enemy would finish the level. Possibly, no lava as a killing floor just to switch things up.

    I think pipes should be able to also turn into glass pipes, like from New Super Mario World.
    It transports you, and you can see where you're going whilst in one, and you just slide to the end of it.
    If the pipe goes off-screen, you can make it transport you to a different part of the level, but you can still continue the pipe to slide to a platform in the other part of the level.
    I can see it being used for levels where you need to go through a pipe maze, and choose the right pipe.

    The only thing I thought of were ghost coins, where you have to walk through them first to collect them after. Then I thought that was stupid and Star Coins are much better. I would love some cosmetic changes to things like pipes and yoshi's and Fire/Boomerang Bros would be awesome.

      +Auke Beverdam I think a better idea to implement star coins is get a coin and put a mushroom on it to make it bigger, then when you shake them you could get other coins like blue coins and red coins.

    vines could become the grate from SMW, spikes or thwomps could become spikes that fall from the ceiling and shaking ice could let you place water freely, the blue blocks that can be held could be what you get when you shake a pow block, shaking wings could make a set of wings a yoshi can acquire

    Things I would like to see when things are shaken:
    Wings - turn into parachutes like the ones from Mario World.
    Invisible Block - turns into intangible blocks that need to be hit before they turn tangible.
    Coin - Becomes a Dragon Coin/Star Coin (You have to beat the level getting all of them before uploading it) ((Collecting them in 100 Mario Challenge gives you actual Stars that can let you upload more levels.)
    Hammer Bros - Boomerang Bros by shaking, and Fire Bros with Fire flower.
    P-Switch - Permanent P-Switch that does not despawn after being used.
    Vines - Climbable fence like the ones from the first fortress in Super Mario World.
    Ice Block - Water Block
    Other things I would like to see in the game:
    Slopes - Make you able to adjust them like you adjust the size of semi-solid platforms.
    Music Maker - Let's you make music like in Mario Paint
    Vertical Levels with screen wrapping.
    Desert Theme, Snowy Theme, Mountain Theme, and Forest Theme.
    Charging Chucks, Spikes (The enemy), Pokey,

      Yeah, and that was before the update was announced, so they must have finished it much earlier, and if there were any other GLA screenshots, they probably show more update-y stuff. Maybe the planned for the costumes to appear AFTER the update

    You covered a lot of good ideas, but I had a few more.
    The cement block: If you shake it, it could become the boos from Super Mario World that solidify into a block when you look at them.
    One Way Panel: Maybe by shaking it, you could change how many directions you can approach it from. This could add a nice maze element to the game.
    Pipe: I kinda want those smaller pipes from Super Mario Bros 3 and World.
    P-Switch: You mostly covered this, but what if by shaking the switch, it changes to the blue one, which only affects the doors.
    Thwomp: Might be hard to pull off, but having a Whomp in the game would be fun.

    Blocks change into the ones you can pick up, Warp Pipes change into the cannon pipes, Thwomps change into the ones that move sideways, Fire Flower change into Gold Flower, Ice blocks change into blocks of water that can be frozen if Ice Flower gets added, Ground change into water to make parts you can swim through, Vines change into ladders, Bridges to be able to rotate make diagonal for example, Hard blocks change into cracked blocks that fall apart when stood on and also to be able to drag an objects changed form into the custom bit so you don't need to keep shaking or copying the objects you need all the time (if you need to use both forms).

    It's unlikely, but maybe if you shook the Thwomp, it would turn into a Whomp, now Ik it won't happen considering it was only used in the DS version, but I still think it would be a new way to add something slightly new...

    5:30 - The blocks already make a rattling noise when shaken. This doesn't change their behavior at all, but I believe this counts as it doing something. (Cool Bit, perhaps?)
    6:40 - Maybe the one-way wall could be changed by accelerating things in that direction like a fan/propeller instead of acting as a wall.
    7:00 - It could also be interesting to be able to shake an ice block to turn it into a lava block or a purple death block.
    7:35 - Alternately colored pipes could be neat. Cannon pipes would also have a lot of possibilities.
    9:00 - A 1-up could become a 3-up Moon, but that really wouldn't add anything to the game.
    10:00 - Dotted blocks would be a good idea, actually. They'd be intangible until you hit a P Switch, and then you'd be able to interact with them. This could prevent accidental stage breaking by players picking up coins they didn't realize they needed to turn into bricks later.
    10:30 - I know it's almost guaranteed not to happen, but I'd love to see costumes in the other theme styles.
    12:00 - Vines could be ladders, at least when they're not hidden within blocks. The _Mario_ series has had ladders before.
    12:20 - I would love to see Rotodiscs make a return here.
    15:15 - Shaking a Goomba could turn it into a Galoomba (the renamed enemy from _Super Mario World_). Jumping on them just turns them over, and they can be kicked or thrown into other enemies or off edges and such (or jumped on again, like _3D World_). If they did this, they'd have to actually make a Goomba sprite for the _World_ theme, though, so I'm not sure I see that happening. Alternatively, shaking a Goomba could produce a Goombrat, which turns around when it reaches a ledge (like red Koopa Troopas).

    Blocks: P-Switch active blocks: Blocks which only appears during P-Switch.
    Donut Lift: Variants which falls faster.
    Star: Continuous star variant: only appears as star while star powerup is active.
    1-up: 5-UP/Moon
    Wing: Boots (Makes mobile enemies faster, makes immobile enemies mobile. Turns blocks into jumping enemy blocks.)
    Pow Block: Veggies (SMB2)
    Coin: P-Switch active coins: Coins which only appears during P-Switch.
    P-Switch: Toggle Switch (Infinite duration P-Switches), Switch Block (That on/off block which toggles paths)
    Vine: Vine warp (Climbable offscreen to different area), Sideways vine, Fence (Climbable all directions)
    Spikes: Spike Ball/Boulder
    Thwomp: Sideways Thwomp

      Or drag and drop a Power Up onto Yoshi, and depending on the Power Up, that would be how Yoshi is Powered Up.
      So Mushroom would make Yoshi bigger and have a Bigger Range for his tongue, the Fire Flower will turn Yoshi Red and give him the unique ability to spit out Fire from his mouth after eating any enemy, rather than just Fire from a Piranha Plant or the Piranha Plant itself and the Feather/Propeller Suit, would turn Yoshi Blue and give him the ability to fly for a short period of time.
      The Fire Flower idea and the Flying Power Up idea, would be like Yoshi's abilities in Mario World.

    Here's my take on shakeable things in the future:
    Thwomp: charging chicks you'll love them
    Coins: red coins or blue coins
    Flower : ice flower and boomerang flower
    1up: poison shroom (mushroom is already the creepy thing)
    star : slow-mo mario, everything is slowed down around you
    donut lifts: upward donut lifts
    P switch : Colors switches that make blocks of the same color
    Invisible blocks : Colored block that appears when the right switch is triggered.
    Lava bubble: fire chomp or angry sun
    Magikoopa: super magikoopa shooting in 8 directions and appearing anywhere on the screen
    Dry bones : bry beetle or something
    hammer bros: well fire boomerang and so on.
    Wings: steroids, makes the enemy you give it to faster (well not actually steroids but an item that does what i said).
    Fire bars: yeah ball and chain or spinning light balls
    Ice blocks : water tiles
    ? blocks : roulette block
    Spikes: blocks triggering spikes when you step on them
    Vines : controlled trail of coin (or controlled vines) can only be placed on blocks
    Pipes: canon pipes send you in the direction you set it to
    Pow blocks : triple pow block, can be used 3 times like in the arcade game
    Blocks: grabable blocks (doesn't work on mamrio 1 but hey they have skinny mushroom).

      I would like the ice blocks to be meltable when you but in them something. If you put in them an enemy or a power up, it could be free then, and if you put there an invisible block, it would just not be meltable, and you could melt it with fire from Fire Mario, Fire balls (or how those things with eyes that jump high out of the lava are called) and fire from the Fire Piranha Plants. And lava/water blocks being other versions of it when shaken.

    Cool!These are my ideas:
    -Brick Block Shake->Moving Block (If you hit it moves in the direction of the arrow)
    -That grey block Shake->Spiky-normal block (Turns spiky each 5 seconds and normal each 5 seconds)
    -Cloud Block Shake-> Lock on Enemy cloud (Locks on you if sees you)
    -Ground tileset Shake->Water tileset -Shake-> Lava tileset
    -Donut Block Shake-> Icy Donut Block
    -Bridge Shake-> 2 different stiles for bridge (like simming platform)
    -One-way door Shake->Gravity Wall (If you go in the Gravity Wall changes gravity like in SMG2)
    -Question Block Shake->Possesed Question Block (Normal when playing,but has evil eyes in editing.Tries to get you if you hit it)
    -Ice Block Shake->Fire Block (Like ice block but red and shoots fire balls)
    -Warp Pipe Shake-> Change Colour
    -Mushroom Shake-> Mega Mushroom -Shake-> Mini mushroom
    -Fire Flower Shake-> Ice flower -Shake-> Golden flower from NSMB2
    -Super Star Shake-> Ztar (If you touch it you die)
    -1-up mushroom Shake-> 3-up moon
    -Yoshi egg Shake-> Baby Yoshi
    -Invisible Block Shake-> Invisible Ground (Ground but invisible)
    -Mystery mushroom compatible with all styles and each has a special power
    -Racoon Leaf Shake->Super Bell from Super Mario 3d world
    -Cape Shake-> Drill from Super Mario Galaxy 2.
    -Propeller Mushroom Shake-> Super Acorn
    -Pow Block Shake-> Red Pow Block from NSMB2
    -Coin Shake-> Red coin Shake-> Star Coin
    -P Switch Shake-> Anialator Switch (Makes everything vanish for 3 seconds)
    -Vine Shake> Grates
    -Fire Bars Shake> Chain Balls -Shake-> Roto discs
    -Spike Straps Shake-> Spiky Walls (You can adjust the height)
    -Dry Bones Shake-> Bony Beetle
    -Kamek Shake-> Change colour of cape
    -Hammer Bro (drag a fire flower to one to make it a fire bro,and ice flower for an ice bro and shake it to turn into a boomerang bro)
    -Thwomp Shake-> Whomp
    -Goomba Shake-> Goombrat
    -Claptrap Shake-> Stretchy Claptrap (stretches up and down and is purple)

    Shake Coins to turn them into Red Coins. Placing one Red Coin automatically spawns a Red Ring that activates the Red Coins when Mario steps through it. Now, collecting those Red Coins would reward the player with a 1-Up which is already a pointless addition to Mario Maker. Provided there's a reward for collecting Star Coins, I'd prefer André's ideas over mine tbh.
    Edit: Also, I really want Goombas to stay on the platforms I put them on. I know that's not how Goombas function in 2D Mario games so I'm asking for Goombrats. Just shake a Goomba and it turn into a Goombrat.
    Another thing they could do is that if you place a Spike on a surface, it'd aesthetically become like a single spike, not multiple smaller spikes sticking out into every direction. It's a small detail but it'd be nice if they adjusted that.
    And that's really it (also André already named most of my other ideas). I'd really love to have different backgrounds like Beach, Snow, Volcano, Jungle etc. But what I'd really really want is to be able to make a level like those really dark levels where you'd need a Fire Flower and FIre Snakes to see where you're going. You know the kind? That's really what I'd love to be able to do.

      +Cofageekus Or they could add some form of helmets with a light on them that emits light to brighten up the area. Similar to, no actually, A LOT like Goombella's helmet from the Paper Mario series. Also there's an entire level in NSMBU where there are blocks that emit light that turn on and off. By shaking one of those blocks, you could determine wether when the level started it would be on or off. Very similar to what happens if you shake a Burner(that's what the game calls them anyway). And to go even further on the matter, there's a Baby Yoshi that emits light when shaken.
      Is there anything that I missed? ;)

      I don't think there's missing anything. But I'd prefer it the "Fire Flower" way so the parts ahead of you aren't always that light up. You know, to make it more troll-y.

    Shaking an invisible block should make an invisible platform, you know, like that one glitch with tracks and clouds lets you make.

    You could do several things with the spike ball. Shaking it in underwater theme could turn it into the urchins from SMW. In normal themes you could turn it into the yellow conical spikes and you could even give them the ability to fall from the ceiling like they did in a few of the castle levels in SMW.
    I agree with you about the meltable ice blocks, but the standard brick would become the throw-able flashing ice brick from SM3. There were also giant ice blocks in SM3 that I would like to have just for variety's sake.
    In SM3, the Super Leaf could become the tanooki suit and the Fire Flower could become the Hammer Bros suit. Mushroom could be the Frog suit. Bridges in SM3 style could become those twisting bolts on wires that you have to jump on to cross gaps in airship levels.
    And the biggest thing of all: Shake ground tile, it becomes sloped tile. Shake again, it becomes lava tile. Keep shaking, it becomes water tile. Maybe even chocolate lava in SMW! In a desert style (WHICH WE NEED COME ON NINTENDO) it could also become quicksand.

    Thwomps could change to thwimps from SMW which hop from side to side. Bridges could turn into stairs (to act as jump-through slopes.) Spike trap could turn into a fuzzy maybe? The P-switch could turn into the silver P-switch from SMW which turned enemies into silver coins.

    10:30 What if you could use collected Star Coins for a in-game Shop? For instance, in order to get a random amiibo costume, you need to pay 15 Starcoins you've collected. Now, if you want a specific costume, you'll need 30 of them. They could even make new blocks, powerups, enemies, game themes or level themes unlockable, just by playing the game! Now, of course they would lose a big oppurtunity for DLC, so this probably wont happen. But it would be cool.

    I got ideasWhen you shake a vine, it becomes those swinging vines.
    When you tap on a pipe, it shows options for different color pipes.
    When you shake a pipe, it becomes a pipe cannon.
    When you rotate a pipe slightly, it becomes a 30 degree angled pipe.
    When you tap on a Yoshi egg, it'll show a menu of different colored Yoshis
    When you shake a Yoshi egg, it becomes a baby Yoshi. (You can tap on those too)
    Thats it :P

    One thing noone has even touched on is the Mega Mushroom. It'd be a cool addition to the game.
    Shake the Super Star and you get the Mega Mushroom.
    Other ideas could be;
    Shake the Coin to cycle through the coin types of regular, red coin and blue coin. The red coin would be useful for a secret collectable and the blue coin could do the same, but will only appear when a P Switch is active.
    (NEW FOR THE FESTIVE SEASON) Shake the ground block to cycle through different terrains. Grassy and Snowy. These would be cosmeic changes unless Nintendo decides to add a whole new Ice world theme for each of the four game types.
    Shake a P switch to get a Red P Switch. The Red P Switch would serve to gain access to Red Coins.

    amiibo mushroom-amiibo mushroom for enemies
    super leaf - tanooki suit
    cape feather - P balloon
    propeller mushroom - penguin suit/acorn mushroom

    P blocks could change color when shaken to turn on/off specific blocks of that color, (Reminiscent of the hidden GIANT P blocks from SMWorld). This could make it so that you can force the player to go and find all four colors of the p block, bring them all back and jump on them all at once. Or if they want, make it a P(ermanent) block, which functions *EXACTLY* like the giant hidden P Blocks in World. Which allows people to make more traditional puzzles that aren't so convoluted. Of course, they don't have to change the orange one, just make it so that you can shake it and change it to Yellow, Blue, Green, or Red. I'd probably go right back into making level immediately if this was added, this function was one of my favorite things from World.
    This is a stretch but, Dry Bones could be shaken into Dry Bowser. He's immune to fireballs, faster, has a tail whip, can move while firing, and fire blue fireballs. Basically a mix of all his appearances. He would function as a "Hard Mode" boss for when you want your player demographic to be more experienced Mario players, but don't want their level to be really unfair.
    This makes little sense, but maybe Magikoopa can turn into the sun? I dont know whatever.

    For the game-specific power-up, you could shake it to change between the different power-ups in each game. But because there aren't other power-ups in SMB1, that would be a great opportunity for the poison mushroom.

    As has been mentioned a bunch, Thwomp-Thwimp makes sense. Shaking a Magikoopa I guess could turn it into Kamek (probably with some sort of limit like Bowser), changing how he acts. Though they're not really visually distinct, and Europe for whatever reason call the species "Kamek", which would make that confusing. And you could shake the 1-Up Mushroom for a SMW-style 3-Up Moon. And perhaps they could allow shaking a Question Block or Hidden Block to make a block that only appears with a P-Switch active? I know you can basically do that with coins, but these could be completely invisible, and you could put a powerup or vine or something in there, which you couldn't do with a coin. Pretty sure World did this, too.

    Some ideas I had while watching this video are maybe you could shake the 1-up to turn it into a poison mushroom, or maybe they could make a red toggle switch, where stepping on one switch activates something until another switch is stepped on to "undo" what the first one did. Along with the red switch, maybe they could make the ice blocks turn into red blocks that appear and disappear based on pressing a red switch.

    The other thing they could do with coins would be make them "P-switch" coins that only show up when a p-switch is active (Mario 3 had those-I thing at least one of the NSMB games did too). For the fire flower, they could also bring in the gold flower from NSMB2. Also, don't forget the mini-mushoom from NSMB, though that changes Mario's hitbox drastically.

    For the one-way door, I have an idea that if you drag a mystery mushroom onto the one-way door, and then grab the 2 items and shake them, you can only pass through as that costume.

    2:17 No, listen to the the sound of a normal P-switch and the warp door P-switch. The warp door P-switch isn't timed, like in some boo house stages where it just spawns a door.

    1. With the one-way doors, maybe you could shake it to make a Mario only door, and shake it again to get an enemy only door.
    2. With the whole slope thing, I think it would be cool if they would make it so you could just change the angle by tapping on it, like with arrows and checkpoints.

    André overlooked a some obvious ones.The POW Blocks could transform into Red POW Blocks.The P-Switch could turn into a ? Switch (it currently looks like one, but the update seemingly will change that). ? Switches usually make platforms or doors appear, or walls disappear. And let's not forget about the third one, ! Switches.The Super Mushroom could also turn into a Mini Mushroom (which is less obvious, but it's a big power-up to not get included).Dry Bones could transform into Bony Beetle, and Thwomp could transform into a Thwimp.

    Here's my thoughts what will the parts can do when you shake them:
    Block: I can see them to become Ice Blocks than the solid one that you mention since they have the same design from Super Mario Bros 3 and World.
    Mushroom: I can see that one to become either a Poison Mushroom,Mega Mushroom,Metal Mushroom,Mini Mushroom or a new type of mushroom like they done with the Grinder and the Koopa Clown copter.
    Fire Flower: I do like the see the Ice Flower to return but they could add a Golden Flower instead.
    Propeller Mushrooms,Cape Feather,Super Leaf: I can see the Super Acron to return in the Wii U version but for World and 3 there has to change too like the Super Leaf can turn into a Tanooki Suit when shake it and for the Cape Feather can turn into the Balloon item that inflate Mario in Super Mario World.
    Thwomp: It can be a Twimp by shaking a Thwomp.
    Dry Bones: I can definetly see it to be a Boney Beetle When shaken.
    Lakitu: Very Like to see it to become a Fishing Lakitu or a Fishing Boo.

    What I would love to see is that the brick block when shaken would turn into the bricks you could grab in SMW! Also shaking a magikoopa would turn it into either a boss magikoopa like Kamek, or change the magic it sends out, like 3 magic beams or magic beams that can only hurt you and can't create enemies. Shaking a Koopa multiple times can change its shell or create a mecha-koopa. And if yoshi ate different colors, they would do different things to yoshi just like in SMW.
    This is my opinion though and would be cool to see!

    At 11:25, what about if you shook the p-switch it would turn into those red block switches found in SMBW. I feel like it would work as they would function similarly to the way people currently make switch bridges in Super Mario Maker, but they would be dotted lines when inactive (relatable to the p-door when inactive) and would be indestructible in both forms, unlike the coins and bricks, so I think that it would bring slot more creative variety to the game.

    One thing I would love in Mario maker are forced battles... which means you have to beat that boss to either move on, or, finish the level... all they would have to do (and im not a dev. so i dont know if it's super easy or it will get in the way of things) is you just have to shake the doors which make boss doors... the ones you see when you go into the final battle of a castle. tell me what you think and if there are things that could be added/removed from the idea!

    Brick Blocks: Change color to blue
    One-Way Walls: Speed Strip
    1-Up: 3-Up from Mario World
    Wing: Slow Wings
    Pow Block: Red Pow Block from NSMB2 (brakes brick blocks)
    Thwomps: Thwimps from Mario World

    Maybe for a second option on the vines, it'll change to either a swinging vine usually found in the jungle levels (or chain in castles) or maybe a climbing chain link wall where koopa troopas are sometimes crawling over or around and you have to hit them when they're on the opposite side.

    I'd say there will be two P-switches. One turns coins into blocks and one that makes doors appear. Right now you can't shake the switch anyway! I would love to see blue and red pipes...

    Shake PSwitch -> Different colors for different invisible blocks
    Mushroom+PSwitch -> Permanent Switch, just like PSwitch Palace from SMW
    So, combine both mechanics :)
    Goomba+Block = Pile Driver Micor Goomba
    Piranha Plant + Mine/Spike = Ptooie
    HammerBros+ Mine/Spike = Spike (SMB3 Enemy)
    Piranha Plant (Shaked in water levels)+ Fire Flower = Lava Lotus

    I would love it if shaking thwamps would make them into either the thwimp (super mario world) or the fire snake (super mario 3)...
    I'd also love seeing the fire flower (and maybe ice flower as you suggested) then being used as a drag onto things to change them power - making a flame chomp possible, and a way to have the fire brother and why not a fire throwing magi-coopa!

    Am I the only one who remembers blast pipes? You should get that when shaking a pipe! The different colors also work though.
    When shaking a coin, you should get a blue coin! The way I see it, blue coins are always invisible and add nothing in the game, unless you step on a P-switch. The coins only appear during the duration of the P-switch music playing. Star coins are also a good idea, anyway.
    Shaking a goomba should get a red goomba! And giving it wings would make it drop micro goombas! We remember this, right? Can't wait to see what Nintendo does anyway!

    For P-Switches, we can have Red "!" Switches. And Solid Blocks to Red Blocks. Like NSMB DS and NSMB2

    I really want them to add the ability to add Fire-Flower to enemies.
    Also ice-enemies if the Ice-Flower is added.
    Also, this is dumb, but I really wish we could put Amiibo costumes on Goombas.

    Stars could be turned into a red coin and give you an additional seven to lay out.
    Likewise, Regualr coins could be turned into a coin snake like in SMW while 1-Ups would instead become the star/dragon coin.
    Magikoopas could be turned into charging chucks or an equivalent tanky character.
    Vines could be turned into wire mesh and the 1-way door could become a slam panel.

    As I mentioned in the previous video. Goombrats would make much more sense if you shook a Goomba, since it would parallel the edge turning functionality of a Red Koopa Troopa (which you have to shake a green Koopa Troopa to create). Plus, I really want to see a Goombrat in SMB and SMB3 style, with a new version called a Galoombrat in SMW!!

    1up mushroom Change to poison mushroom, lets make it so thwomps can move left or right like in smb3, shy fire flames, blocks you can pick up and throw, enemies trapped in ice blocks that you can melt, ladders or fence you can climb on, grassy theme, desert theme, night theme, smb Allstars theme, Yoshi's Island theme. Just a few ideas.

    Being able to shake the Thwomp so it can go horizontally, diagonally or turn it into a Thwimp. More curve variety for the tracks would be nice too.

    I have three points:
    1. the lava puddle cannot be shook (i found this by reading a comment
    2: clouds could become water and the grey block could become lava. Because then you have water on land and floating water. Yeah...
    3. There could be a decoration tab so you dont waste time looking for one decoration. You could also add water tops or lava tops to it.

      Oh! Levels could add the option to be dark, then they can add the big light blocks that turn on and off, carryable light blocks and the gold yoshi!

    The Question Block could be shaken to become phantom blocks like in some of the ghost houses in NSMBW.
    The POW block could be turned into a red POW block, which isn't affected by gravity like from NSMB2
    The Vine could be turned into a swinging vine like in the NSMB series
    The Thwomp could be turned into a Thwimp like in M3, MW and NSMBU

    Note that you can shake semi solid platforms twise. So maybe other objects could be shaken even more.

    gonna List some of My ideas that you don't mention. Typing as i listen
    In some Mario games there's an enemy that hides inside a brick. That could be a brick shake option
    Launching pipes as an option for the pipes. Another option is Tiny Pipes
    You could shake the mushroom for a Tiny Mushroom or Mega mushroom
    For another Flower option: The Golden Flower
    For a Star, you could make an invincibility leaf as in recent games. This could even give meaning to the One ups, if you can set it so that the Invincibility leaf only shows up after Dying a certain number of times
    For the Invisible Blocks, why not make invisible Bricks?
    For the P-Switch, perhaps they could turn it into a light switch? Or a red ring that causes temporary coins to appear that, if collected, grant a power up
    Vines...Perhaps they could make the top of the vine into a hzard like a Piranha Plant. Or turn them into a swinging vine
    Fire...Maybe make it into a Roaming fire enemy?
    Thwomps...perhaps you could shake them to make their tops safe to walk on? Or, and this is a stretch, shake them into Charging Chucks and/or those enemies in New Super Mario Bros that look like Ghosts wearing boxing gloves

    Maybe you can shake a Super Mushroom to make a mini mushroom, and you can drag slider on the pipes to the side to make a smaller pipe that only Mini Mario can go through. It would also be nice to have mini enemies.

    They can change the one-way door and turn it into a "wrap(warp) zone" similar to SMB1's 8-4 castle where the level wraps around at certain areas.

    They finally made it to where we can shoot things from the Koopa Clown Car without having to be Fire Mario. Now I can make Shmup levels starring Kirby like I have been wanting to do (whenever I manage to get the game that is).

    They could allow you to shake the 1-up Mushroom to make it a 5-up, 10-up... from Super Mario World. ?Maybe instead of having standard Goombas in every theme except Super Mario World you could shake it to make the ones from Super Mario World? An actual P-Switch if you shake ? switch if they also introduce blue coins. I agree with most of your ideas.

    Mystery Mushroom= ??? (SMB)
    Super Leaf= Tanooki Suit (SMB3)

    Would be some power up ideas I can think of for the others.
    Though I thought of the 1-Up being the Poison Mushroom more.
    When shaking the Dry Bones on Land perhapes a Bony beetle?

    Fire Flower --> Thunder Flower --> Ice Flower --> Water Flower (Thunder Flower is a Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga reference and Water Flower is new edition)

    I would think Thwomps would shake into Thwimps, the tiny ones that hopped in small arcs back and forth.
    When it comes to enemies it would make more sense to be able to give them the fire flower powerups to give them flame attacks.
    The bricks should be shakable to the pickable bricks you see in Super Mario world.
    They should also add in a ghost boss, that would be relatively easy.

    It would be cool if you shake wings to change them into parachute. Also, it would be nice to add something that makes the creator give us a clue about the upcoming areas without using coins and bricks.

    Shake pipes and you get the launch pipes from New Super Mario Bros Wii (Don't know if they were in others), I think that would be awesome. ;)
