10:34 the blue bird is actually an unused item from the game, that wasn't finisheded. If I remember correctly, if you enter a level with this bird, you will go to the cage, and a lot of birds will take you up to the sky or something like that. There is a ton of unused and unfinished stuff in Super Mario World, the game wasn't completely finished when it get released, if I'm not wrong (sorry for bad English).

Well, that is partly correct, only that the picture with the birds in the air with the cage was only a mock-up, or a fake edited picture by a fan. So the bird's purpose is mostly speculation. But I'm pretty sure that that was the intended purpose.

I'm genuinely impressed how well "U.N. Owen Was Her" (The boss theme) fits into the Super Mario World soundfont. Unless it doesn't use the sound font at all and I'm being dumb.
Also to anyone curious, the song originates from Touhou 6: Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. It's the "Extra Boss" theme. (Think super boss.)

I noticed a lot of comments talking about how Bathaniel did the math on the title screen wrong. Well, I'm not trying to sound like a jerk about it, but it'll definitely look like me being "that guy", so I expect to be downvoted but its okay. Anyways, he didn't do the math wrong. PEMDAS doesn't work like that. Expand the comment if you wanna see the reasoning, I'm burying it a few lines below so the wall of text isn't an eyesore for others. Also Lester officially titled the hack "Super Diagonal Mario 2" anyways so there's the title right there lol
Right, so PEMDAS, this is the order of operations used to keep math objective and accurate. Without following those kinds of guidelines, math could be read subjectively and the intentions confused. As PEMDAS goes, the correct order of operations is Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication and Division (left-to-right), Addition and Subtraction (left-to-right). Although the letter representing addition comes before subtraction, they are intended to be filled out with EQUAL priority, from left to right. Same with multiplication and division. "Always add before subtracting" isn't a thing and has never been a correct thing, if your math teachers have taught you such they must have been mistaken or they were also taught that way as well, but it's not right.
In this case the math problem posed is written as "7-8+3". It is all very basic addition and subtraction, and the proper way to solve it is left-to-right, exactly as it is written. Seven minus eight is -1, then plus three makes 2. Now, some people are saying the correct answer is four. EVEN IF you were supposed to do all addition before subtraction (you do not), there is still no rule to re-order the numbers. So if we imagine the problem in that case, it would become "7-(8+3)" which is -4. People saying the answer is 4 are actually MOVING the numbers so that the addition comes first, which is even worse than just solving for addition first. "(8+3)-7" is definitely 4, but by that point you replaced the original math problem with something else entirely.
Imagine you have 5 apples then take away 3 apples then add 2 apples. "5-3+2". If you treated this problem with the same logic where these people are saying "7-8+3" equals four, then the problem becomes "(3+2)-5" which would mean you have no apples left. But by simple counting we can determine we're supposed to have four apples left, not zero. Never rearrange the numbers in math.
