    You know what? The modern mattress companies will first kill the cotton mattress industry. And then start selling the same mattresses at 3 times the price by calling it sustainable and organic lifestyle product. Story of practically every single traditionally Indian product today. In my childhood, jaggery was half the price of sugar. Today, jaggery is twice the price of sugar.

      Hmmm true. But the new age mattresses - atleast in my opinion- are a lot more comfortable than the cotton mattresses. Does not sag as easily too.

    Memory foam mattress are worst and increase back pain even if you dont have....i am facing this issue.... The curve of lower back tends to become more curve and during day if you walk out the vertical body weight put load of that curve area causing more serious pain...

    Very informative. So just to reaffirm- if the idea is to protect the back, multiple sleep position and avoid heat retention- latex mattress would be ideal. Question arises between latex and latex plus coir

    Loved your posture and the way you conduct yourself. Coming to the matter of mattress: cotton is ideal which is firm and looks homely. Rest is lifestyle mattress. If you have money go for pure latex which su natural and organic. For people who has decent money go for good cotton mattress, and for ppl like me ( less budget want to get up early) go for hand made straw Mat or Jamkhana, I bet you can’t sleep more than 6 hours.

    Thanks for the video, it's very informative.
    I am a predominantly side sleeper with back issues including lumbar (lower back) disc bulge and minor thoracic (upper back) levoscolios.
    I live in a hot and humid area and am looking for something that can provide both a correct amount of support for my back and keep me cool.
    I was considering the Hybrid Latex Mattress from SleepyCat, but the feel says "firm", so wanted to get your opinion on what might be the best solution.
    Thanks again for the video, keep up the good work!

    First I thank you for your explanation about which mattress is to be bought. My spinal cord has damaged too much and the doctors are insisting me to undergo surgery. But all my family members are scared of the results including myself. I have been using the mattress which is not very soft. But when I got up in the morning my back was in pain. Previously I bought one very soft mattress which is very costly but I couldn't use it since in the morning the back pain was too much. So a few years back I bought another one which is around 4" breath. Now I request you to please advise me which kind of mattress is to be bought to overcome the back pain. Thank you madam

      Hi Geeta, if budget is not a constraint, latex or coir+latex mattress would be ideal for you. Here is a Latex optoin amzn.to/3IVwCFO and here is a coir + latex option - amzn.to/3zCpUk1. For budget constrain, you can consider latex + memory foam option like this amzn.to/3mR4biU

      @msachiinmahatevan หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not an expert on this but you can try soaking the mould spots with vinegar diluted in water solution , and then wash with detergent solution and brush , finally dry it out in the sun make sure to flip it so both sides can dry evenly and quicker. Vinegar should kill the mould , detergent should clean up any stains and sun would deodorize and sanitize with uv .

    Hello Maam , I sleep with my mother . Together our weight will be 120 kg . We are using quite a old mattress which has become really hard to resist . But we dont have back pain or heat issue till now . I want to buy a mattress that will give us a bit of a softness but firmess also and there will be no backpain or heat issue . Can you please suggest a good mattress for us please at a reasonable cost. Will the medium firm work for us ? Also both of us are side sleepers .

    I appreciate this mattress, for normal people. I will not recommend for spine or ortho issues people to use this mattress. I do not know how companies are claiming ortho also ?
    I am not against this company and wish to make some product for back pain issues persons. It depends on person to person also. I request please put coir and hard mattress for hardness also so that people like me can buy your product. I have found your pillows are really good.
    Please do some R&D for spine-ortho mattress, and provide the product to customer, even its costly people will buy. thanks

      Hi Kashif Zuberi! I don't recommend using a memory foam mattress if you have immense back back. You need something firm. So consider either a latex or a latex top mattress. amzn.to/3dsShul. Unfortunately - they are quite expensive.

      Hi Barkha, you get different materials in mattress toppers as well - similar to mattresses but in this case - mostly memory foam or micro fiber. Suggest a good mattress for overweight person. I had purchased sleepycat latex mattress about a year back. Not happy with it. It gets sinked in, it's not firm. My dad being overweight is finding it very uncomfortable now. Pls suggest a good one suitable for him.

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Saif, even latex mattresses have different firm levels - did you purchase the high firm mattress? In general, latex is known to be better than foam from a sinking point of view. Infact I have just tried latex and find the same. I recommend you to go for an high firm orthopedic mattress (either latex or foam). Since you are talking about heavier weight, recommend to go for a 8inch plus mattress.

    • @saifriz872
      @saifriz872 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheGrapevineIndia i had got the 8inch version only and was not happy since it was not exactly 8inch. And the firmness also is not so good. I also did my research before getting this and was hopeful latex will be a good option since it should not sink in like foam. My wakefit foam mattress is better. It does sink in but atleast it is hard and gets back to its original shape quickly.

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Saif, yeah that’s the expectation that it will not sink as much. Infact the one I’m trying right now does not sink much too.

    Latex mattresses are costly. Wakefit latex is budget but it is only 1inch latex and it's hybrid latex not natural. How is the medisleep latex mattress? Unlike other brands, medisleep will manufacture latex and ISI certification. Can I buy it over wakefit? It costs less than 7k.

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sai Pavan! If it is less than 7K, it's not pure latex.

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hybrid mattresses have a latex layer only and they are not natural latex. They are comfortable for sure, but if your goal is natural materials, it may not solve for your requirement. If you would like natural latex, go for morning owl. If too expensive, atleast try their latex mattress topper - amzn.to/3xQ0e6n

    • @orchestrain88keys
      @orchestrain88keys 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TheGrapevineIndia thanks! I am sure morning owl would be good, as it uses 100% natural latex. But, yes, it's expensive, too. If I go for the 2" Latex topper, then what other mattress would you recommend for the 5-6" Layer below the topper?

    • @orchestrain88keys
      @orchestrain88keys 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TheGrapevineIndia also, i found one more mattress: Flo Antigravity Full Latex. I am sure at this price point, it would not be natural latex. But, overall, is the mattress good, i.e. does it deliver the main things like, back pain relief, comfort, heat dissipation, etc?
