Jeremy M Got one on rental for next weekend Jeremy if any vids come out Ill stick it on the tube No review that's already been done to death by the pros, I'm just driving for drivings sake which is what the Mog is all about the guys at work even bought me a silk scarf and kid D gloves to get the full effect LOL
I've been a big fan of these odd little cars since the first time I'd heard of them many years ago. I'm glad they are back on the market, just wish I had $60K for what's really a very cool toy.
The biggest advantage of this three wheel set up is that you don;t need a differential, therefore your handling characteristics is determined only by your front suspension type and geometry.
You really have to do the factory tour, and see these being made. The 4 wheel Morgans are also beautifully hand made,I wonder how long this amazing production can survive.
I've been keeping my eye on the Elio, an up and coming, American made three wheeler that is not as sporty but more practical and much less expensive than the Morgan. Hopefully, Elio will make it into production and meet it's goals for price, safety, and economy. The Morgans are pretty awesome cars, though.
Paul, no contest between the Elio and the Morgan. You have to drive the Morgan to experience the fantastic feeling you get!! Although I have not driven the latest model, I have owned two 3 Wheel Morgans in the past. Both with Matchless MX4 wáter cooled engines. No vehicle in the years since have even come close to how I enjoyed those cars!!
Paul. I too am watching the Elio with interest. It's a great idea but I do feel they are missing a trick by not pushing the sporty angle. They should offer the same standard version alongside a more expensive (small engined) high performance version. It will boost the image and help sales across the board.
Does this still use the Harley Davidson engine? Why won't they go to a sensible 6 gear forward transmission? I live on the North east Coast of the U.S. I need a hard top
At the cost of around 50K I have to think that a 3 wheeler like a Polaris is a better option. But, I'll certainly stick with my S2000. Recall driving a Morgan Plus 4 with a TR engine and a Jaguar Moss transmission in the 60s. Interesting and enjoyable experience.
It's interesting, but for more money than a brand new C7 Corvette convertible is kind of insane,10 or 15 grand would be something acceptable in America, nothing more
The biggest sales of pretty much everything are in the USA,but this british mentality regarding to industrial production are the roots of their industry's ruin, the "Somebody's gotta come with a suitcase of money and pay,no matter how much we charge" just because it's made in the UK
I don't think you're thinking this out. I highly doubt anybody who is buying a C7 Corvette would be comparing it to the Morgan. The Morgan offers a completely different driving experience compared to the Corvette and is also not a car that is bought with logic, it's pure emotional fun.
It's funny to see when the t-Rex from Canada has been available for years and is way more powerful, better on the road and way more of a laugh. The Morgan looks good, but for the same price I'd have a t-Rex
Too cheap to make a real car...who cares about how many idiots get decapitated. ...never let sentiment get in the way of making money off of suckers, right Morgan? Right.
The Morgan three wheeler is my dream car.

Three thumbs up!
Great video, good job!
God, I want it!!! One of most cool cars (or aircrafts, or motorcycles?) produced tommorow. MY DREAM!
Well Said!
Nice to see a reviewer who 'gets' the Morgan 3W. Good video...
Jay Leno has all the money in the world and needless to say, The Morgan 3 wheeler is one of his favorite cars.
Chin Forward!
Jay's 3 wheeler is from the 1930's and very different than one of these badly made money pits.
@@verygood7155 there are actually at least two videos of Jay riding a new Three-wheeler and in those he sounds excited like never before

I hope you can find a used M3W in your price range. Jeff, you are obviously a person of taste.

Great review, Jeff! I want me one of these!
thanks!
You are sane!

True Dat!
Nice little review
A Morgan 3 wheeler fans
Harley in the garage
Not room or money for both
Hard to miss a pothole but worth it!
I've had two original period ones from 1928 with Matchless air cooled engine... a pig to drive but great fun once you've got the hag of them!
You are a lucky man.
EXCELLENT COMMENDATION...

You can do it!

The Morgan Three Wheeler is not for you.
Harley apparently turned them down when they asked. Why have 6 forward gears? 5 is plenty.
agreed
Test driven; #canconfirm.
cool
Exactly!
I want one with a Harley 110 in it
Buy one and swap the engine.
3rd time lucky :-)
Do you have to wear a helmet ? I wouldn’t , thanks nice review !
Comes with an RAF fighter pilot’s uniform and a black Spaniel.
If you don't mind the fact that there's always something breaking on these money pits then good for you.
I don't know. Mine has been pretty reliable, a good little care if you show it respect.
What do insurance companies classify it as???
Lilreeces10 pretty sure most in the US will call it a motorcycle
Some classify it as uninsurable, e.g. Geico. Others classify it as a motorcycle.
'' Class 3 ''
In the UK its a car, I pay the same road tax as a Range Rover for mine@@ninobur1
"Less is more"
More or less.
Harley motors should always be beneath you so that the oil they leak goes on the ground or on the car behind you rather than in your face.
Its not a Harley! S&S does not leak oil. Dry Sump!
David Brown Ok, busted me, I knew that but couldn’t resist a Harley joke!

What? Who gives you thumbs up in your S2000. Admittedly they are better automobiles than my M3W. But more ordinary. Enjoy your ride.
Fantastic review. Also you have a nice American voice. Not annoying at all!
nice backhand Mr. Mills
thank you.
Not annoying is good.
It's interesting, but for more money than a brand new C7 Corvette convertible is kind of insane,10 or 15 grand would be something acceptable in America, nothing more
Hand building costs money
Yeah, well it'll go the way of the Dodo bird sooner or later.........
peter455sd You can say that about any car Peter and the biggest sales are actually in the USA

Its a awesome car for 30 minutes at the time. Then park it for 2 months.
Arbeloa....
What does that mean? Arbeloa...
No person under the age of 50 should be allowed to drive M3W, specially if you wear a jeans.
設有品味馬力就是粗魯
It's funny to see when the t-Rex from Canada has been available for years and is way more powerful, better on the road and way more of a laugh. The Morgan looks good, but for the same price I'd have a t-Rex
The t-Rex is a dinosaur by comparison.
my god... just because it has 3 wheels... DOES NOT MEAN ITS A MOTORCYCLE!! I sound mad, but im not. im expressing myself.
Its a good thing it is classified as a motorcycle by the government, it makes it cheaper I think
Where would you draw the line? In Britain, this is a car, USA says motorcycle. I have always been interested in how we define a motorcycle. Thoughts?
You are not mad, technically. Technically it is a motorcycle and must be registered as such.
In the UK it's a car, no helmet plus it has seat belts.@@ninobur1
@@user-ww2gu6md7z No helmet required in USA, but one must use the safety belts.

Right.
M.r. Moon how are they going to get decapitated unless your a idiot and drive like one
Exactly. You Sir, will never be a Morgan owner.
