Placing the huge new S&S wedge-head V-twin engine in front with a single exhaust pipe running down each side (like the racing cars of the old days) is a stroke of brilliance. It literally feels and sounds like a race-car of the early 1930s! Too bad it costs the big bucks though.
I am getting one to take the kids to school. I might get a tow hitch fitted so I can tow my caravan. Then I will fit the extra wheel that's missing. I wish they would make a diesel 4 door model. The biggest problem is going to be the roof rack. A bit pricey, but worth every shilling.
Brilliant! Morgan should apply some of their magnesium alloy technology to a special superlite edition of the three wheeler, now that would make a really interesting vehicle. Also hope the Eva project is still progressing.
I love these things, I love that you can play with it on the open road and keep a clean licence, Important to me as I make my living with my driving licence. Just a pity I can't afford one.
He said 'chunter'. Which is a real word, see: www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/chunter But, yeah apart from that all the words were made up.
sadly this is a hand build car. it takes time and skill to build it. if someone like toyota starts to mass produce it, then it gets cheep. but the mass will not buy it. that means it will stay expencive..
I'm pretty sure it is. US government with its protectionism sometimes doesn't let good cars into USA, but this doesn't cause any threat for american cars, so it should be legal. But you probably would have to register it as a motorcycle - at least in my country and some others in Europe it is a motorcycle. Because it has motorcysle engine, just 3 wheels (two of which are motorcycle too), no body and so on. But thats not a problem.
It has nothing to do with protectionism. Impact standards and emissions standards require money and engineering to meet, although some exceptions are made for very low production vehicles. The Morgan is legally a motorcycle in the US, using an American built and EPA-approved motorcycle engine. They are sold in the US.
A very expensive toy for the collectors or the wealthiest of us as the rest of the morgan cars. Useless, non practical, primitive, uncomfortable. But still beautiful!
Well, he bought it for a fun driving experience. He said the transmission made a really loud humming sound and it road like shit compared to a motorcycle or automobile.
Ya! It looks like a fun little car, I think I would enjoy it, but his biggest complaint was that he couldn't hear the engine over the transmission. He never test drove one either. Live and learn I guess.
Give the "funny" little man a bespoke hand made booster cushion to sit on , All you can see coming at you is a uber trendy hip big Davida helmet and a pair of hands atop the the wheel , Why when see this "man" do I think posh boy and polar bear ? Google it
One of the best reviews. Presenter sounds great . And the shots are gorgeous. Precise fit for such a amazing car.
Brilliant video.....XCAR just keeps getting better & better...

Yes he said the original ones where cheap,,,what happened?
Brilliant video! Even a lot of fun watching it! :)
I live in Malvern and see these pretty much daily.. I got a lift in one in the summer and it's a weird experience, 30mph has never felt so damn fast
Nice video. I wish there was a few of them here in the states. I love the nostalgic look.
I want 2... one for me and another for anyone else to race around town with!
The fighter ace was Albert Ball VC.
It's missing the back rack to stap the picnic basket filled with ice, champagne, scotch eggs...and cigars

The end of the video was so funny :P
Am I the only person who thinks he sounds like a young Richard Hammond?
No
Yes

Love it, have a blessed week my friend.

Brilliant.
At 0:40 I realised this thing actually looks like it belongs in Mario Kart.
It is in Mario kart, actually. Look up "Mario Kart 8 Tri-Speeder"
"Shunter along"
Half the time it sounds like he's just making up words.

That car with that goofy, 50s soundtrack: I bloody loved it.
(I'll still only borrow the car for fun though, won't ever buy it.)
Scars makes the best vises around no exception
Awesome! Another great and fun vid
haha loved the ending
would love to add this to my collection but to expensive here in the states
trinisuprazee ,too, sigh.
Best horse ever...until you try jumping a hedge in it...
Would still want one ;-)
KlunkerRider , me too!
It's impractical but I want one.
I think so,too.
But it is expensive.
Great video
If this thing was actually cheap like it should be, I would consider getting one instead of a motorcycle.
+Acidicheartburn1 this is the same problem with Ariel atom , Caterham ,and KTM xbow

is it legal in the US to drive?

Is it more stable when driven in reverse?
the only thing that bothers me is the body. If they rounded the bottom towards the inside like most cars of that time, it would look gorgeous
I think a 14 year old private school girl might protest against that statement
I belive you dont need a front number plate is that true
I have this weird anxiety feeling that the third wheel may fall off
I am a fan, but you need to rethink the helmet and goggle combo. Not good. Sorry.
nigel is that you?
Alex with hair! WTF?!
meh for that price I'd rather get a 2014 Campagna T-Rex 16S.It smokes this 3 wheeler in every aspect.
Excluding ultimate coolness and it looks a bit awkward ....
What do you do if it's raining?
You take the Bentley
wear the helmet and googles, of course!
Better than a horse? On the road, sure, but how good is it at jumping??
A very expensive toy for the collectors or the wealthiest of us as the rest of the morgan cars. Useless, non practical, primitive, uncomfortable. But still beautiful!
can this car break with its 3 thin donuts ?
NO thanks! Get a motorcycle instead. Cheaper and its more fun.
The Morgan won't fall over when you stop, and in rainy weather you will only get wet, you won't land up donating your organs.
other people don't have to watch your ass in leather
In the future could you not put silly music over the driving and engine sounds?
My friend bought one of these brand new.... A week later, he hated and put it up for sale. Ate 3 grand.
Well, he bought it for a fun driving experience. He said the transmission made a really loud humming sound and it road like shit compared to a motorcycle or automobile.

WW 1 ace Albert Ball vc
I could really do without the soundtrack.
It's so shit
Still want one
Is this a review of the MORGAN?
Or a review of how the reporter looks when he talks on camera?
Boring stuff.
terrible music
Its an odd looking car. Like a three breasted women.

Yo quiero 😫
