  • An overview of Sophrology and a brief exercise for you to experience!
    For more information: artoflivingwel...
A detail: I mispronounce Prof.Alfonso Caycedo's surname. The first 'c' should be hard, the second 'c' soft, rather than the reverse!

I am a Priest at a Gnostic Church in Southern Indiana. My congregation is mainly comprised of those Christians who seek a more Esoteric Christian experience and also of non Christians (primarily NeoPagans of a variety) that seek to know more of the mysteries of the Holy Sophia, the nature of the Logos, etc.
I have been very grateful for your teachings and refer individuals to your videos and your writings in order for people to have a better understanding of the sacred traditions.
Bringing souls together in peace and understanding is a desire in my life and I wanted to thank you for your part in helping build bridges between all people.
Fr. Bob McDonald n/OSC, Priory of the Rose Cross

Thankyou Dr! I had a beautiful experience of a high-pitched ringing in my right ear when the focus was placed on my right eye for the blossoming tree, a sign I take as my angels & energy release. Also received a long message from an old friend whilst I had my eyes closed, very powerful energy bringing in that communication.

As the year comes to a close and yule is upon us what a great time to incorporate something like this into everyday life. My mind felt a stability it hasn't felt for a long time. Today I drew the Swan from your druid animal oracle. I thank you for your wisdom and knowledge. Blessed be 🙏💜🙏

I suffer from fibromyalgia which stress and anxiety can make even worse than it already is. I have found this simple method which Philip have spoken about on here really helps me with stressful situations as my head goes really tight and whole body shakes and i can't move when it happens. This can be very embarrassing especially when out trying to get shopping or similar. The whole thing used to take a couple of hours for recovery. I use this technique as soon as I can after I feel the tightening beginning to start in my head and it's been really helpful. It stops the shaking and eases the tension with in few minutes. The recovery period following these bad attacks is about 1/2 hour now. Much quicker than before. I am so grateful to philip for sharing this video. Soprology should be more widely known as it is a wonderful way to help with so many illnesses and everyday life situations. BB

That's very interesting to hear Eliza. Sophrologists have had success with alleviating the symptoms of fibromyalgia and I'm planning to explore this topic in my next book called 'Empower Your Life with Sophrology' due out August 2019. Details here: www.philipcarr-gomm.com/book/10936/ I'm so glad the exercise helped. Best wishes, Philip

A psychologist did this with me 40 years ago when I was suffering anxiety with good results. I didn't know what it was called then, nice to discover it again after so long - just lovely, thank you

I found this channel maybe 10 minutes ago, and am stopped at the 7min mark of this video after following along with the exercise.
I cannot put into words how physically relaxed i am after doing this for the first time. I have severe anxiety issues and depression and always feel tense/stressed.
    This is amazing, thank you!

Very effective. After repeating a few times you can just think of your eyes and feel relaxed. Thanks so much for sharing this Philip!

How interesting! I found making/visualising the shapes with my right eye harder than my left, which makes sense for a lefty like me, and shows me that these types of exercise will help integrate both sides of my body/mind better.

    • @PhilipCarrGomm
      @PhilipCarrGomm  7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Yes it really does seem to balance our two sides! And yet it is such a short exercise...that's one of the reasons why I like Sophrology - it's quick! :)

Your affect and voice are so calming. I did the exercise and i fell to sleep easily and had wonderful dreams. I am using it to start my day before i get out of bed as well. Also, I’ve found the information you have provided on sleep on your sleep clinic website to be immensely helpful.

Thank you for this introduction to sophrology. I am American but spend a lot of time in France and have heard of this. Have you ever worked with patients with mental illness like psychosis using this as a distraction and calming method? I am working to develop wellness communities in the US and would like to incorporate this into our programs.

It annoys me that they rip up the land and build new towns a lot then gets destroyed. Every hill around you is a possible rubbish dump left by our ancestors.
