HARD CANDY APPLE RECIPE
Half Recipe: 2 - 1/2 - 1/2
Metallic Colors - 1 Tbsp
No White
Full Recipe: 4-1-1
Metallic Colors - 1 1/2 Tbsp
No White
Full + Half Recipe: 6 - 1 1/2 - 1 1/2
Metallic Colors - 2 - 3 Tbsp
No White
🚨 THIS IS A AIRBRUSH COLOR. It is a waterbase coloring.
Candy Apple Recipe:
Half Recipe-
2 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Light Corn Syrup
(Depending on the size of your apples)
Small Apple: 3 - 4
Medium Apple: 2 - 3
Large Apple: 1 - 2
Regular-
4 cups Sugar
1 cup Water
1 cup Light Corn Syrup
(Depending on the size of your apples)
•small apples: 16 - 24
•small to medium: 12 - 18
•medium to large: 6 - 8
•large apples: 4 - 6
Candy Apple Recipe:
Regular plus Half-
6 cups Sugar
1 1/2 Water
1 1/2 Light Corn Syrup
(Depending on the size of your apples)
•small apples: 24 - 26
•small to medium: 18 - 20
•medium to large: 12 - 16
•large apples: 10 - 12
NOTE: ADDING TO MUCH FOOD COLORING WILL THICKEN YOUR CANDY MIXTURE

Beautiful! I have a quick question. In your other tutorial with the metallic blue color you added the color at the beginning. This tutorial you added it towards the end. Does it matter when in the process I add my color? Whether at the beginning or towards end? This is using airbrush coloring. Thank you for your great tutorials!
Thank you!❤️ well for me, I can do both and in my videos, I like to show Different ways that you can make your mixture in steel create that particular color using different brands. Even though different brands does call for you to do certain things but with the airbrush food coloring you can do either or edit at the beginning or added at the end it’s totally up to you a lot of times people like to add at the end, so they know they are achieving the color that they’re looking for, if they’re not comfortable with making candy apples and I have taught that over the years to add your color at the end if you’re just not comfortable with cooking your mixture all the way through with the color just make sure it’s the right amount added to your mixture.

I made 48 red candy apples this past weekend for my boys birthday party and another 70 of the metallic ones for all the staff at their school.
It was my “first” real time in a few years. I had been terrified to try them again because of a burn on my hand last time. And a failed attempt.

Can you use airbrush color on strawberries?
If you’re making heart candied strawberries, yes you can use the airbrush food coloring but remember they’re not gonna last longer than 24 to 48 hours with that particular fruit
I can't find this color anywhere. It's says it's been discontinued.
Before this video was made and posted the color was available. After this video was posted. It was also still available but now since then the product has sold out and now is not available that I see. I will have to check with the company to see if it’s available on their company website that’s the most that I can do sometimes that happens when a product is posted publicly and so many people have purchase which is out of my control from that point.
Looks great! But my apples and grapes come out very sticky after putting them in the freezer or fridge. How do I stop that from happening?
So with candy apples, depending on the climate in your home or wherever you’re making them plays a factor so when you put something in the refrigerator or freezer, you remove it it creates condensation so when you do grapes
Does the metallic affect the texture of the candy?
When using the metallic food coloring, it doesn’t affect the Apple in a bad way the only difference and using the airbrush metallic colors is that they’re a water-based color and they break down quicker than using a regular gel base color so the shelf life of these particular apples are not as long as the standard gel food coloring apples.
But if these apples are properly package and stored in the refrigerator, they still will last a long time

Where do you get your color from
I get them from the companies that I am ambassador for because they just sent me free coloring but if I need something right now you can get it from Amazon. The brand I use is Chef masters for my candy, apples and chocolate chameleon for my chocolate apples.
