I made this with canned chickpeas! I didn’t add the flour, instead I added about 1/4th cup tapioca starch. Thats the only recipe change I made. I let it broil for a few minutes then I took it out from the oven and used a pizza cutter to slice. They were soft so I threw one in my air frier to crisp and it was divine. Added some of my family’s own zaatar too and it was fabulous.

Paula Armada in a balanced, healthy diet, you should eat carbs. Just not carbs high in sugar and starch. Also, it’s not the only thing you’re eating. Most of what you would eat are a variety of leafy greens, and then proteins.

Y'all know lazy keto is a thing right? Then again I don't know keto police was a thing... Not everyone wants to reach total ketosis. Some people use keto guidelines to reduce their carb intake of unhealthy options like bread and pastries.

Downshiftology I have made this recipe twice now and it has become a favourite. I did add some ground coriander to the spices as well. The second time I made it, I added half a cup more chickpeas to make enough of the mixture to fit my baking pan. I wondered why the palm of my hand felt funny all night, but then I remembered the jalapeño and that I had patted the mixture down. I also have made your baba ganoush recipe twice, but I confess I used my toaster oven to bake the eggplant. It's still delicious!

This is a grate idea. I tried it a couple of times by now and love it. I frees it after cutting it to peaces, and toast it when I feel like it. Goes terrific with a nice bole of salad for lunch or dinner. I like to top it with eggplant salad, some Humus or Tahini. Thank you .

For me the top reason to use soaked chickpeas is that I can then sprout them! It's super easy, just takes two days, and makes them a powerful hybrid of a starch, a green and a source of protein :)))
I always have something or other sprouting on my counter, then I figure out what to do with it. Thanks for the bread recipe, will try it!

You get an A+ for adding the egg! Babies are tasty after all. The sandwich you showed after that at 7:38 needs bacon and a light sprinkle of smoked Gouda. :)
Awesome recipe for a flatbread! I'm sending this video to my roommates.
