    A incredible story, and company to work for. The company culture and buy in, is unmatched. You can start a roofer load and end up a branch manager, just work hard.

    This woman should run for president! Ken died in 2007 and she continues to grow each and every year. As a contractor we appreciate everything ABC Supply has done for us in the past and assists us with growth. I am a proud ABC contractor that continues to grow with them.

    She’s a badass. I also respect her for being so rich, yet not in the spotlight like so many other billionaires. This is a woman I’d be happy for my daughter to look up to.

      @@thegophawkeyeI feel like to say that is really short selling the story. It’s like if I died and people start saying that about me, while my wife was the one completely running everything in the background.
      I’m the one you see and think of, but my wife totally was instrumental in the success.

    I worked for Diane when she started CCI Contractors and was put on various prevailing wage jobs. We built her horse barn for her Clydesdale horses and was so impressed with her place. I have seen what she has done for Beloit and yhe community.

    She was a cocktail waitress selling real estate part time before she married the guy that started it all. How much of the growth and acquisition was her or the ceo THEY hired. She is rich. yes. "self made" nah. If ABC really cared about contractors there would not be different price levels for contractor buying. They help the big contractors in the area make more profit, while making bigger profit themselves on the small companies. She is against union workers. The pay plans are all geared to more money, more commission. I could go on but, why bother. The machine only grows.

  • @crocopbull
    @crocopbull 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    There is no such a thing as self made millionaire. You always have mentors and people who helped you along the way. Self made implies you did everything on your own to get there which is 100% false.

    • @RoofingInsights3.0
      @RoofingInsights3.0  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Self made means you didn’t inherit it, born poor and made it to the top

    • @roofingtips
      @roofingtips 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Every wealthy person has, of course, had mentors, but they had to be teachable. They had to choose to listen and follow. That’s where most people fail. So yes, you can still be self made with the help of mentors because you still had to take action.

    Find your niche. She smashed an all male business model. Its still all male, except for her. I have nothing but respect for this woman. You want to talk about manifesting and creating your own reality, take notes. Say what you want about the beginnings but she will fucking eat you alive.. She scares me, but it only makes me want to speak with her more. I think she did the foundation by herself with a very close advisor. The more capital she gained the more next fucking level her team became. Invest where its gonna count, fuck everyone else. Take no prisoners. Nothing but accolades for this INDUSTRY TITAN

    “Inherited” the business she built with her husband 17 years ago, not only stayed open but expanded the business through a recession and Covid.
    Having ever been married is there any level of success a woman can achieve that will let people stop seeing her as “coattail off his success”?
