Great breakdown of the sales process. Does “Building a bridge” mean financing? I would add 11: Customer references.

@@SteveThompson-li2fc "building a bridge" is a process we have internally, that we use when we are presented with a price objection. It allows us to demonstrate to the customer the differences between our products and services and our competitors.

Excellent advice. Asking for the sale is key. Don't just give the education and walk away.

    Good info.
Only issue I see is that branding depends on your goals. Target market is i.portant also.

If you have a good product and know what your talking about is a major part of making sales. And repor! But also little tricks when it comes to pricing and closing 👌 and always assume the sale(in a nice funny way)! Some people just need that little push

Dimity, love the video... However red-blue shingles are more due to transportation... Those colors are only produced for certain markets.. Louisiana uses alot of Red.. Carolinas use a lot of blue. I like the blue CertainTeed makes, so I made a formal request to have the Blue taken out of the name (Our market was a good fit) CertainTeed replied stating it would kill their sales in the Carolinas. Take a look at Pacific Blue Landmarks, They would work in many markets if they would change the name. I think CT and Tamko are the only ones with Blue, Red and Green 3-tabs.

When I approach a homeowner usually I have reason greeting them first and by saying to them I notice you have shingles missing on your roof and they will say yeah I know I am going to need a new one soon I then say well maybe I can help you let me do a inspection to see condition and get some pictures to show you the condition of your roof because you cannot see all damages from the ground, then give them options to repair or replace usually if it’s storm damage then I will get your insurance to pay
That works for me just be Nice to people be yourself and know what your selling
