About this game:
When Isaac’s mother starts hearing the voice of God demanding a sacrifice be made to prove her faith, Isaac escapes into the basement facing droves of deranged enemies, lost brothers and sisters, his fears, and eventually his mother.
Gameplay
The Binding of Isaac is a randomly generated action RPG shooter with heavy Rogue-like elements. Following Isaac on his journey players will find bizarre treasures that change Isaac’s form giving him super human abilities and enabling him to fight off droves of mysterious creatures, discover secrets and fight his way to safety.

Early in the run: *Bum friend. you should take the money. you have given me a spirit heart for which I am eternally grateful.* For the rest of the run: has 99 cents. no more shops. actively takes all the money from bum friend. gets maybe two lucky pennies. bitches about HP and no hierophant cards. at 46:20 realizes he is greeding out bum friend. walks in to next room. takes all the money again. That is pure egglord stuff. great episode!

Whenever you have two red hearts you should always take a health up
-Case 1: there is one 1 heart deal available - you spend one heart then gain the health up you are now on two hearts
-Case 2: there is one 1 heart deal available - you take the health up then take the deal you are on two hearts. The order didn't matter.
-Case 3: there is a two heart deal available - if you take the deal first you die and cannot take the health up item (the exception to this is if you have a health up pill or there are soul grounds on the ground. You can pick up the soul hearts before you die, and it will stop you from dying)
-Case 4: you take the health up first, you can now take the deal and it'll leave you on 1 red heart
-Case 5: there are two 2 heart deals, you can only make this work if you take the health up first, and you have soul hearts/there are soul hearts on the floor in the devil room (if you go to 0 health from taking a deal you still have the duration of the animation to pick up health - or strength card/health up pill/balls of steel etc.) if you take the health first you can take both items
The ONLY time it is correct to take a devil deal before you take the red health up (on two red hearts) is if you have two red hearts AND soul hearts in front of them. In this case, if and only if the devil deal is EXACTLY one 1 heart deal and one 2 heart deal you can take both and then get the red heart back
As you can see it is a very bad habit to take a devil deal before taking red health UNLESS you have soul hearts
R4444KK0N I'm pretty sure he leaves HP upgrades before a deal so that if he gets 9 lives or Judas' Shadow, he can get an extra HP upgrade on the new life.
of the 39 devil deal items, 7 give health/lives back
you could argue a one in 8 chance is worth it, but I think it's a bad habit because 7 out of 8 times you will miss (assuming every devil deal gives one item)

"we can use this fool card to get out of our cursed room without taking damage", immediately goes into cursed room and takes damage coming out even though he has the fool card.
From halo 1 it has to be the over powered pistol that was a one hit kill on almost everything for head shots and done a tone of damage on body shots. you could kill anything quicker with a pistol over the default assault rifle
