About this game:
When Isaac’s mother starts hearing the voice of God demanding a sacrifice be made to prove her faith, Isaac escapes into the basement facing droves of deranged enemies, lost brothers and sisters, his fears, and eventually his mother.
Gameplay
The Binding of Isaac is a randomly generated action RPG shooter with heavy Rogue-like elements. Following Isaac on his journey players will find bizarre treasures that change Isaac’s form giving him super human abilities and enabling him to fight off droves of mysterious creatures, discover secrets and fight his way to safety.

I was hoping for another azazel speed run... then I remembered he did it last night and I got a little sad... I really like the objective-based runs for some reason.

The part of Russia on the European continental plate is over six times larger than any wholly European country, it's probably fair to include it. Turkey is the dubious one.

Sicily was a reign until 1861, history is hard.
The majority of the Russian population lives in the European part of the nation, Moscow is located in the European part, Russia has far more historical ties to Europe than Asia. It's definitely a European nation as much as I hate to admit it.

Basically, he's like "well I can only dodge so well" ignoring that it's his own fault he needs to not take no damage ever.
Not going so ham on prayer card was the key to a much easier run.
NL's analysis of escape room groups is spot on. (I work at one.)
The whole 'reality TV' aspect is pretty great.
The game definitely got harder. It's definitely not a result of you making bad dodges, stacking up 12 red hearts for no reason, taking damage, losing your dwd chance, taking deals with the angel, etc.

I love the late uploads. I don't hate sleeping, I actually love sleeping, it's just I hate waking up and having to go to school for the next day. these help immensely. thanks NL for ruining my sleep schedule and probably the rest of life for such bad sleeping habits :)

This episode is just NL complimenting his group of friends. It was pretty funny actually. Especially when he sandbags malf. They have the funniest agro/friendship.
Also, holy shit, why did you overuse the prayer card? Way too many red hearts; getting Key Pieces and thus decreasing any chance of Devil Deals was also kind of dumb.

in my french class we play "zut," a game where any number that has seven in it or has a multiple of seven has to he replaced with the word zut. in french, it's basically the equivalent of shoot, or darn.
It's the trap with red hearts. You think you are invicible but when you don't find any red heart you become vulnerable.
Just FYI, Mao Asada has a severe knee injury which doesn't allow her to do her triple axel and affects most jumps. She also came back for 2 seasons before retiring.
I did an escape room once where the combination was one of our birthdays. They got it from the confirmation information when we booked the room/signed the online waiver.
I think your knock back hitting the poops in the same direction they are charging gives them a speed boost

Okay, so that was an awful awful seed
and I don't know how much time you do or do not have,
but could you have maybe used Placenta's regeneration to get to full hp (even it would have taken like 10 - 20 minutes)?
The play wasn't close to optimal. Losing devil deals by topping off those red hearts was a big mistake. Also, train wreck seeds can be rescued by doing all rooms and look for stuff like Cricket's Head, Black Rune, Joker card, etc. Hard to do when you're recording a video for entertainment, but them's the rules.
Played the run myself, the only DMG up he didn't find was Champion Belt in the D1 shop. And yeah, the run wouldn't be so hard if he didn't cap his hearts; TP'd to Dank Room from W1 and no-hit Mega Stan 'bout 45 minutes into the run.
I want to upload my run of this seed, but I'm a new-tuber & don't know if that would be acceptable.

Hellevator is a lot like your escape room idea. It's totally worth checking out, hilarious as hell watching some people completely fall apart. Also I may have a slight crush on the hostesses...
NL there is already a shoe like that, 2 teams race each other in 2 identical puzzle rooms. It's pretty cool
Did Egg forget that you can get a free play on blood banks while you're invulnerable? He realized it right before his vacation.
this is basically a tank class run xD. he had placenta which sometimes heals you, he had prayer card and nun's habbit or whatever its called which was also giving him hp and was rocking full red hearts with 0 damage upgrades. Sounds like a tank class to me

You consistently underrate Scorpio, too. Scorpio is the second best Zodiac item, and in a lot of situations THE best Zodiac item. I have no idea how you rate it lower than Common Cold. It's guaranteed poison damage, which deals DOUBLE your damage in ticks.
I've done 1 escape room and it was horror themed. I'm still thinking back to that experience, it was really good. P.T-esque.
now take this run, and replay it every time you open Isaac for ~ a month and a half. you have now experienced my luck with this game on the regular.
That was actually pretty dark that on that second floor there was a guy that hung himself and the item depression was right next to him.
Had the egg taken Lost Cork he would have been in a much better position, and probably won.
NL should have taken the Lost Cork on Caves 1 so his Depression creep would be larger and stick around longer. It's a surprisingly good trinket with the right run.
NL is still playing CK2? Will you put up videos again. Even if you think you aren't good I always enjoyed watching you play.

A Jarl is the equivalent of a Duke, a Thane is essentially a Count, or the equivalent.
The only relevant mistake NL made this run was using Prayer card. If he didn't top out his red hearts, he would have had tons of soul hearts, and then gotten deals with the devil, and thus damage, etc etc. I guess fighting the angels was also kind of bad since it made angel rooms more likely.
Using prayer card to max hp was his only mistake but cost him greatly
i have an idea for a rare op item. crimson battery: an enemy kill gives you 1 charge on you spacebar item bosses give 2. and maybe using the spacebar item with the blood charges gets rid of a red heart (not the container)
Sicily is one of the 20 regions of Italy. It does have a special set of laws though.

Back in the day, I was actually taught in school that there are only 3 countries in North America. Central America is on the same boat as the Middle East to me; it makes NO SENSE. Also country boundaries are arbitrary. It would make more sense if they were landmarked by terrain such as mountains or rivers but NOPE. They're invisible.
Also, this is why I avoid HP upgrades like the plague beyond like, 4 HP tops. I'd rather have more spirit heart room than I'll ever use than not have room for enough.

Blood Clot is a flat +1 damage and some range; I don't know why people like it so much. It's great with Soy Milk, as it applies after the .2x multiplier, and Tech 2 (.65x by the way) but isn't particularly great otherwise; it isn't bad, but it usually ends up insignificant. Great with Soy Milk though.

Egg, you've definitely played some good Isaac recently, except for after all these years still not figuring out how to pivot around monstro to never take damage against it or not shoot at things that have just charged you so their paths become unpredictable creating a much greater chance for you to actually dodge right into them

i did this run along side him for the first time ever and destroyed it. I have less stuff unlocked though so that may have affected it. I think he missed a room in like the 2nd floor with 3 tears up pills

I had to memorize countries and capitals of Europe and South America in 6th grade. I guess that's all that my school thought were important aside from the US.
I take a very detailed history class and we all can name all western European countries and easily half of western Europe. But I know we will all forget after we finish the class

Daniel Hong that's not how it works. The upside down cross is the chance of getting a deal at all. The normal cross is the chance of that deal being an angel deal.
Ok Nl, you've stated that you've been told you underrate blood clot the last 11 times you've picked it up. Maybe if you read this, you can just say, "So I've been told that every time I pick up Blood Clot that I say I've been told that I underrate Blood Clot," instead.
