Thanks for this. I have the same car, a 2019 Ceramic Club, and had damaged my right side mirror. You make it look easier than it was, for me. But having your guide made it far easier than it would have been. The Mazda shop manual was very helpful too.

used this video to help with changing my broken mirror, it was a great help, would say you don't need to remove the whole window, just the quarter glass, makes this much easier job.

Thanks for your video, the loose bolt of the windows that you show is a problem with the rattle on the windows when the road is not firm...

Could you change the mirror just by removing the quarter glass, or does the window need to come out too?

Adam Court the quarter glass wont come out unless the window is out.

@@eljefe1077 did you need to do the steps in the service manual to do with the pressure sensor, or was it a case of just reinstalling the glass and it all worked fine assuming it was aligned on the 3 nuts correctly?

@@Courtathor I'm not sure of what pressure sensor you're talking about, but I did try to align the 3 nuts. I should have marked them before I unbolted them, but there was marks from before which aided me.

@@eljefe1077 Yeh, there is a pressure sensor for stopping the window trapping your head/hand/child etc and also letting the car know when it's closed. I think it also plays a part in the partial opening etc when dropping/closing the roof. The manual tells you to be carefull with it as the air bag can go off if mishandled! There is a bit of a rigmarole in the manual to set this up but if you do as you did and put it back exactly as you found it all should be good.

BTW, did you disconnect the battery? I know you are supposed to to but I generally don't until absolutely necessary so just ondering if you needed to?

@@mrtravelfrog pop the rubber loose in front of the small angle window (which is the front track) remove all of the bolts on the front track (top and bottom) push the track forward until the window is out of it, push it in to get the top stud out of the hole, rotate it 90 degrees and pull it straight up, ezpz. I can do it in less than 5 minutes now. All of the remove the window bs is ridiculous. Re install is exactly the reverse.

@@camarocraig7060 This worked very well. Thanks for posting this. Replaced my mirror today only pulling the quarter window out :)
