I got a PS5 for my family for Christmas and immediately started a HFW playthrough. Now I’m on my NG+ playthrough and just got all the legendary weapons and have upgraded them all! Spending some time farming for parts and just have Singularity to finish! Bring on Burning Shores! I’m ready! Thanks for the vid!
I hope in the future they make "Horizon 3 exclusively for the "PlayStation 5. Btw the notion you made about if they added lions "white sharks and tigers in the game is a great idea. I would love that 👍🏼
Really good video. I cannot wait for this DLC. I preordered immediately! I loved Zero Dawn and Forbidden West blew me away. I can't wait to see how this plays and looks now that it's not restrained by previous generation limitations. Plus I've since bought a new LG-C2 to game on, so I am excited to see what it looks like on that :)
There's an easter egg in Forbidden west for staff member who passed away in a small island. Hopefully they do something similar for Lance as well. Seeing the character silens depart will have a huge impact. Hopefully they do him good!
@@chazmatazzgames Have you been following the extremely rapid development of AI? It's scary. Guerilla has more then enough material (Reddick's voice) to train an AI to reproduce his voice perfectly. And they have the time to do so. The next Horizon game won't be due for another 4/5 years.
I just hope that the graphical enhancements end up applying to ALL areas in the game, not just the new areas! That would be dope to have an all around minor graphical upgrade for the entire game for lucky PS5 owners!
I would love to do my 2nd NG+ walkthrough but. With the DLC coming out on Tuesday, There is no way I would Finish in time. Haha Only thing i'm worried about is. if my PS5 will sound like a jet engine during the Horus fight. *Knocks on Wood* I hope not.
The one thing that I wish that they would bring to this DLC or to the third Horizon game would be more spear options for Aloy... they did very well with increasing the melee system, but review with just your basic spear through the entire game to get it done... they have so many variations of the other weapons I have multiple different stops and can do multiple different things not counting any coils that are added... but 1 spear..... melee combat can't really improve all that well if all you have is your single basic spear you started out with in the beginning of the game.... why not a different Spear of a different type why not perhaps maybe some smaller things like a knife for quick close quarter combat.. you can't tell me that they can fashion together all kinds of shit with scrap of the past, but Aloy can't fashion herself a shiv?? I mean I get it you're a Warrior Huntress by default so bows are the focus point... but still... at least one more spear that wasn't a pre-order DLC item would just make things even look a little better when you're walking around with legendary armor and weapons, but happen to still have the original spear from when you started the game 60 plus hours ago.
@chazmatazzgames The Shield I can go 50-50 on really as in almost every game that has one I've never been much of one to use one I've always more so dodged...unless a pary is necessary.... however there have been points where it would be useful but then again I believe there was a tripcaster that gave you somewhat of a shield... but an actual one could come in handy at some points... I would say a shield wouldn't do much against things like lasers and those exploding discs but then again there's breath of the wild and Link dodging a Guardians laser with so much as a pot lid...
Speaking of which, I dunno if it's just me, but watching various footage of this game vs the last one, it seems to me that this game feels kind of... unpolished, compared to the 1st game. Perhaps this is due to the cross gen nature of the game, but it kind of feels rushed in general. At least that's the feeling I got while playing it. I did in fact complete both games. Granted I have only played them using a PS4 Pro, but I did get a PS5 not long ago but haven't had a chance to try the game on that yet. Perhaps the PS5 versions runs a bit better & feels more polished? I dunno what it is, enemy movement looks/feels a bit janky compared to the last game. Something just seems a bit less polished to me about it, dunno how else to describe it. Anyone else feel this way too?
@@chazmatazzgames Oh no question! The graphics are most definitely overall way better! But that's not what I'm talking about. It's hard to describe, but there is a level of polish that just feels like it's missing. For a game with improved graphics I just feel like there's something missing. I think it might be the enemy movement, it's a bit jerky & less realistic in this game I think, at least as far as the machine movement goes. I dunno, just something feels a bit better about the older games in some aspects. Hard to put my finger on... But ya the whole game as a whole as gorgeous as it is feels like it was probably rushed, or at least certain aspects of it were. Maybe it's just me, but that's just the sense I got after coming from the 1st game & now spending a lot of time with both.
@@skins4thewin I had the same thoughts when HFW released. Patches have fixed many issues, as well as added more quality of life settings. Yet I find myself thinking; HZD felt more 'grounded'. HFW feels overblown sometimes.

While the movement may seem less realistic it’s most likely more realistic you have to remember that these machines are just robots so it makes sense that they have might have erratic and be nothing like their animal counterparts and the lacking of polish is also just being more realistic keep in mind the world is constantly dying which is why aloy needs a backup of Gaia. In zero dawn the world was not dying it was just in danger so it makes sense for it to look better. Also zero dawn is more grounded since aloy was grounded. Keep in mind one of the only people she loved died in rost. She is also new to most of this in zero dawn but in forbidden west she has experience and she can branch out to learn more advanced techniques
I would love to see an expansion on mounted combat. Like being able to use your spear while mounted.

Yeah man, my guess is Horizon 3 will release near the end of Ps5 gen and later re released for Ps6
