I`m the opposite.. would much rather have a 10 episode 1 hour show, than a 2,5 hour movie. The story is just to dense, to put in a 2+ hour movie. And with a lackluster story, the movie will just fall flat! The story of the game is just to good to skip major parts of!

I loved the demo. Beat it 3 times using the 3 different weapon types. Personally i didnt find the combat too hard but i have played lots of lies of P and sekiro so ive got the perfect guarding mechanic down.

Just finished the demo final boss fight was amazing after dying so many times. I finally beat him just pure euphoria!! already preorder the game.

I wish the plasma blast did percent health damage vs just a flat boost. It would make it so much more useful in harder difficulties if you can just chunk a machines health bar by lets say 33% on max blast buildup. As it stands its not worth all the hassle to build up when you can just freeze a machine and do more damage outright and more consistently

Also the key is not being heavy at all… I play slightly heavy so with this boss I couldn’t do anything because I do an offense type build so my stamina gets eaten up… and since it’s a cheese you have to be fast so I unequipped a bunch of crap and beat him with no damage taken.

I was pleasantly surprised by the demo. I went into it not expecting much, but came away impressed and excited for the full release. The game didn’t feel that tough on the Normal difficulty which I guess is due to them toning it down from the previous version. Except for the final boss which took a couple attempts, it was smooth sailing.

Sorry to nit-pick, but the first power cell can be picked up during the THIRD quest, "The Point of the Spear", when you are running around the Embrace, doing side quests and gearing up to face the sawtooth. At this time, you can easily access the bunker you fell into as a child (during the first quest). Other than that - brilliant vid! Keep up the good work!

Farming shards is imo useless in ZD... best weapons can be earned by challenges i think lodge ones... most importantly - there is no weapon or suit upgrades... they are most expensive things in FW... i remember that i had A LOT of shards in FW but when i started upgrading my gear i ran out of them lol.

The fun thing about the legacy's reach and defiance combo is that acid bombs don't count against your powershots count, so you can use them while you have it active. With low health and mounted archer, you can do something like 6k-7k damage with one spike without wasting ammo.

This game absolutely deserves a chance, so here's hoping it doesn't get 💩 canned.

Just throw a bunch of throwing cells at it then finish it off normal. Makes a huge difference

I was a bit surprised to find that you can put both acid and frost on an enemy at the same time which really leads to some good damage numbers. Particularly with a bolt blaster using the ultra technique for multiple shots without reload and cheap ammo and lots of critical coils.

Personally I think it would be better if they did the TV show prequel make it a limited series about 12 episodes and tell the story of everything happening before operation zero dawn. Get the people who wrote silo, severance ,and Battlestar Galactica, also1899 if you get some of these people on the writing team it will be a success you put each episode should be a hour-long but maybe a few being longer. Call the series faro

I rather see a anthology series of enduring victory, where every episode would follow different characters Episode 1 will be ted faro and his fuck ups Episode 2 would be the staff responsible for designing the plague, and then realizing what they have done after watching a video of dolphins being eaten Episode 3 would be about general harres and early stages of war Episode 4 would be about a random civilian with no training just so happens to be selected Episode 5 would be a soldier Episode 6 would be about the aerial capture lady in burning shores Episode 7 would be about elisabet sobeck

I thought they'll release a movie back in 2017 but they're late now, but atleast now is better than NEVER. I'll definitely watch it ❤

Sorry, but if it's a 2 hour version of HZD, I'm not interested. The game works so well because this story was made as a game. If it's a telling of between missions or at a time not played, I'll risk it. If it's during a time not seen in the games? Absolutely watch that. Perhaps it's a movie to cover the 6 months between games? That would be Aloy's origin story to those that were introduced with FW and not ZD? Id be down to watch that. But again, of it's just a retelling of ZD, it's not worth being a movie.

Stealth terrible, graphics ok, gameplay.... ehh, story and characters pretty bad

The thing is, SO MUCH of the hzd storytelling is in the flavor text/data points. In a game, we get the satisfaction of having to search for those answers ourselves and it was nice to sit back for a couple minutes and just take it in after that, but shit like that gets boring in a movie

I think if Hannah Hoekstra is willing (I say that because she’s never sat down for an interview about being Aloy’s face model), she should play Elisabet, age considering, while Sadie Sink should be Aloy so that fans of the game will recognize Hannah & younger non gamers that may not recognize Hannah will remember & recognize Sadie more playing another character who is not used to having friends and communicating with them about her struggles

I don’t know…I’m of the opinion that you don’t need a show or a movie… The graphics of these games, particularly forbidden west, are so well done that the cut scenes are practically a movie already. If I had to choose, a series is a no brainer. It’s just not possible to fully tell the story in the limited time a movie offers, at least not the way that made it great in the first place.

There is probably enough story in zero for a movie...i guess... but the second game's story is trash. Only the gameplay makes the second game worth playing. 3:10 As for the guy in this utube vid... you can forget about any movie following the game in that way... all that extra stuff is gonna be cut, for sure.... expect only the pure basic plot points being told.... clone... world reborn from nothing and world ending due to AI resetting... and eventually the Ai is defeated.

We need a series and we need it on hbo ideally with the same director as last of us, and it needs to be done like the last of us, 1 to 1 between the game and show a 2 hour movie will not cut it with everything that horizon has to offer
