    I genuinely enjoy that Aloy's voiced by the same VA, just completely out of character 😂

    I'm so glad the Horizon super fan got to preview this. Ian's knowledge of the series is unmatched.

    Annoying? Really? 2:25 Aloy’s been an outcast since birth, dealing with unanswered questions most of us never have to face. Her curiosity is part of who she is, shaped by a life of isolation and the search for answers. She’s not just trying to figure out who she is, but why she’s been an outcast for most of her life.

      Potato face Aloy is annoying. The game is only good once you get past the prologue.

      Yes but the terminally emotional stunted insist she should have the personality of a TH-camr/Only Fans model

    I'm a sucker for the lego version of any game/franchise. This game is gorgeous.

      They're generally pretty fun, even if you're not into or familiar with the thing they're based on.

    Not a huge fan of the Lego games. But that bit “And that’s how I got the narrator job” got me good.

    Me and my little sister have been playing this for hours. It is our mid-term break, so we take the chance on having a gaming session together at home.

    How you find little Aloy "terminally aggravating" is beyond me... everything she does makes sense. Especially considering the circumstances of her upbringing.

    Aloy saying, “I won’t ask any questions”…since when??? That is in her nature, Elisabet wanted a daughter that was curious & kids are always curious. What’s wrong with letting her be curious in a game for kids???😱

    • @nightcatarts
      @nightcatarts 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Got to be adherent before you can break the rules, as part of character growth, I suppose?

      @@nightcatarts I hope so. But then again, when would Aloy ever willingly join a party, and not only enjoy it, but be at the front of the crowd? I think they had to acknowledge that Aloy is the anti-Lego character, everything she chooses does not go with Lego gameplay, so they created Lego Aloy as the complete opposite to fit the Lego world. That’s why she reminds me of the main character of Lego movie. Giddy, moving on to the next sugar rush. The ultimate Lego caricature. Where Aloy is curious & methodical, Lego Aloy just wants to get to the action. Stealth & incapacitating enemies is king in the Horizon games (the mark of a trained hunter), while in the Lego game, Stealth is more of a nod & removing armor is but a mere poke or bop away
      I’m the type that is for letting kids experience tragedy and isolation through a fictional character, instead of sensoring everything. One thing’s for sure, Players that pick up Lego Horizon Adventures before trying Guerilla’s Horizon will be in for a shock

      @@deyliramirez382 Yes I agree; would be nice if they exposed children to some more of that sort of thing. Not to mention allowing them to think it's okay not to be all energetic & part of a group. For some reason, humans can't seem to grasp that some children aren't like that & never will be, and that it doesn't mean there's something wrong with them.

    Thanks for making me realise that this game probably isn't for me. I played a couple of LEGO Star Wars games, but didn't finish either one. They started to feel all the same and it drives me a little nuts when I start to see everything in LEGO.

  • @nightcatarts

    Seems as though it's treating the source material with a bit too much respect maybe. The best thing about the Lego games is how they take the piss out of the silly parts of their inspiration.
