Hi and thanks for your enthusiastic reaction. A bit of trivia, the food at the beginning is battered fried sausage, chips, and mushy peas, none of which Ren can eat due to his dietary restrictions. They also had to do a bunch of takes because Sam, walking backwards the whole time, kept bumping into walls and door frames. Ren also said he almost got hit by cars a couple of times as they crossed streets with no traffic control. I really enjoy your Ren reactions and I would love to see more. The live acoustic version of Genesis is quite the sight to behold :))

I'm grateful that they feel vulnerable enough to allow me to participate in their very personal experience. #Ren is meant to be experienced & internalized so that we can become the best humans that we can be individually. People (#Renegades especially) need to allow this process to happen naturally & not be so critical about irrelevant stuff like pausing or commentary... Great review and reaction. Ren threw the food down in frustration because he will likely never eat anything like that again. On his patreon he has a video asking him about the past yr. Anyways, the interviewer asked if he had any wishes or goals. He said it would be a dream if one day he could eat anything he wanted. He has been eating the same 7 or 8 foods with water for 7 yrs. 2 types of beef and a handful of veggies. He is currently taking over 100 pills a day, vitamins, supplements and amino acids. Plus getting meds through IV's. He was told 4 more months in his medical treatment center in Canada. It has already been 1 yr.

A fun track to see young REN producing a song as well as playing on it is Jessica with the singer Orlean who has a very cool voice. ❤
The dawn of creation and other profoundly biblical musings are littered all over the album this song comes from. You see it touched apon in nearly every single song in one way or another... all leading up to a fantastic climax with money game part 3... i get the feeling he was just in that mood of pondering the dawn of civilisation as a whole and how scoiety as see it today is broken because, essentially its built on an uneven playing feild.... genesis... is the beginning. The entire album is a piece of art in its own right.

Ren got into music as a kid when he tried to produce drum-and-bass songs, which led him to learn how to rap, play instruments, etc. You could say that that was the "genesis" of his musical career. Maybe his use of drum-and-bass here was intentional for that reason, now that you mentioned it.
Ren's internal metronome is crazy. So glad he has the knowledge and talent to produce his own beats, sing/rap/beat box, play instruments, compose, create his own videos. He's just mad talented. It almost seems absurd that he has something interesting to say while he's at it. To me, Noah was kind of a selfish @ss. The book says God warned him the world would be flooded, so Noah saved all the animals. Ok, good. Then he only saves himself, his 3 sons, and all 4 wives. What's up with that? To me, "Noah was late for the ark" means two things: 1) humans are selfish &/or corrupt (sinning forever), and 2) Even when we (humanity) are warned, we don't do enough to save ourselves. I see these two themes pop up often in Ren's work.
