It's not worth it if it's not 4080. If you're going to get a laptop with a 40 series gpu, just get 4080 or 4060 if you can't afford it.

Is this balanced for both gaming and work like editing and graphics work?. Also what are your thoughts on 5 pro if we compare with 7i.
5i pro has 300w charger, plastic body, no per key rgb, no thunderbolt, no sd slot, 80wh battery. Pros of 5i pro are, 300wt charger and a bit thicker, so thermals should be better. And price is less
@@arthub3288i had the choice between the 5 pro and the 7, and since they were both for sale i went for the 7. If you have the opportunity, go for the 7, it’s much nicer in terms of quality
I've got a Pro 5i, thermals are really impressive even for the hot weather here, screen's really good with HDR(I've got 240Hz version), so far loving the laptop, only subtle downside for me is the speakers,.they are clear but lack bass(like no bass at all) but it's still usable for me. Also I've noticed slight warm keys while gaming but I guess it's common for gaming laptops. Overall a solid laptop

I own the gen 8 the battery life is terrible speakers okay but it’s amazing in every single other aspect I love it !!!

I am traumatized by the poor battery quality of Lenovo laptops. They usually die in less than 2 years then you rely being plugged in.

What's better, Lenovo legion 7i or asus zephyrus g16?
Bro Lenovo because of better thermal and Intel i9 hx processor and high TDP gpu give you better performance than g16
In terms of price Lenovo, everything else, ASus Zephyrus
Also avoid Intel CPU and go for AMD, Intel is worse performance, far more power usage and it also has a ton of problems that intel tried to hide.
Only went with Intel because thats all lenovo offered on the Legion 7i
