Wing Chun skeptics should pay your school a visit. Great video.

Excellent demonstration and explanation! Adam doesn’t just interpret Wing Chun. He translates it! In 3:14, I like how he says, “Even though I’m going very light”, almost finding out what Chris, a larger man, had for breakfast. Lol. I bet getting hit by Adam at full speed and full force would be like being struck by lightning and a Greyhound bus at the same time.😮

I am working on my first form now. This video has helped me immensely to understand the moves I am doing and how to properly use them and their purpose. Thank you Sifu for the insight and knowledge.

'Like a finger pointing to the moon....'. This may be the most important lesson in wing chun application. This is a 'hidden lesson' not obvious within the forms and why an experienced instructor is so important. Sifu Adam Chan is master class!

Waived low guard to landing into drill bridge counter rigid hook tougue from a standing position from a abreveated stance follow up capitalizing in silah. From a bong sau and a tang sau. Abreveated to a resting position. Got it. Low elbow to high elbow hands guard to bong sau tang sau with the Dante. And then slap silaht in power form.

Great video! I practice Kenpo and “closest weapon to nearest target” is big in my system as well, great to see such a clear explanation of why it’s important. Also want to give a shout out to Chris for taking all the shots and having a great attitude with it!

i always called that moving in the one, not the one two and stop chasing hands after you learn the fundamentals.

I did 2 years of wingchun. It's so cool especially when 2 wingchunners apply all techniqs in chi sau. Considering going back to training again.

I think siu nim tao practice can't be overstated, it helps a with keeping your guard up, man sau and wu sau are up and ready to go.

I prefer in this case going from that low bong sao to the flank and kick. I prefer to get away from the reach of the left hand in this case, of your tall opponent. And it's also possible he kicks too. When you go inside the middle gate, you could be grappled and i don't know how tall are you sifu but you have your left bong sao hand closer to the point of. 🤔 Well you can strike the side below ribcage or kidney,, right hand on guard just in case, except if you flanked and destroyed the pressure point named... 🤔 😬
It's more efficient and effective. Just try to use most momentum from the footwork and hit twice, fast! It's a way to get absolutely off a significant percentage of your opponents.
