A question I get all the time about Wing Chun is , " How would you use Wing Chun against a bigger guy" . In this video, we will discuss some basic ideas , using Wing Chun techniques and concepts such: taking his balance, occupying the centerline, taking reachable targets without thought, attack vital areas without thought, how to cut the tree down, exaggerating ones disadvantage until it becomes a advantage etc etc.
The fact is size do matter. Wing Chun have some good ideas but in order to make it work, you would have to have a clear training method for the different elements in your Wing Chun techniques + the motivation to work hard and practice a lot. This video is not meant in anyway to replace detail instruction or coaching, its just a short intro

I love that you said you would avoid the conflict first off. Good video, good info! chop the tree down from the bottom.

Adam I am always so impressed by you intelligence, honestly and humility. Your videos are in a very different league. I like your emphasis on both classical correctness and your search for guiding principles. Thank you for making this knowledge available.

To heck with the hater's. Good technique, great speed and I just really enjoy your instructive videos. Keep it up I enjoy every one of them. Something I would like to see is how a 68-year-old man can get back to his speed and agility.

really enjoy watching your videos. appreciate your honesty and humility in your teaching style. Your ability speaks for it's self! Way too much negativity thrown at the traditional arts, especially on the internet. Nice to see the art alive and well demonstrated in your videos. ☺👍

You seem to teach a reaction form on wing Chun . Wherever the energy takes you as long as you benefit from the situation. You are quite good don't worry about haters.

Good advice, if you can avoid confrontation do so. If you must fight though, don't adjust to the taller opponent, but attack the available weak points until he 'collapses'.

That is what some people would call a disadvantage I respect you ... Sometimes going in right away, good. Sometimes probably not ... There's that too. Maybe because of the close range it's similar to BJJ and not ... Because ... You will either want to be to far or closer either or.
