This episode was WILD. The amount of personalities in the basement, oh my gosh! I can’t even tell if the remaining few genuinely want to help Danny or are manipulating him…. can’t wait to see the retelling of past scenes but with Danny instead. The whole cast is phenomenal!
I adored watching Tom Holland acting as so many of the alters this episode. My favorite was seeing him fight in the jail gym as Yitzhak and Johnny in the cafeteria

I think Rya’s work has finally had a break through. She slowly brought his illness to his awareness to the point Danny was consciously aware of his alters, or better yet, the crowded room in his head. Without Rya’s therapizing, this would not have happened. so to answer your question, I believe they could possibly be becoming less and less aware of Danny’s ever move/word/thought
Aaaah that is so enlightening and makes a lot of sense probably why they were also confused he was waking up there and saw all of it. This show is phenomenal
If you enjoy this series, read The Minds of Billy Milligan by Daniel Keyes. I read it decades ago and have patiently been waiting for it to make it screen. At one point Darren Aronofsky was attached as director which made me real excited. It went through many hands before finally making it to this tv series. And I'm really impressed with how they're doing it. I loved this episode because it shows how the personalities were so protective of Danny, in fact, protection was their very reason for existing. And Pink Floyd's Time played throughout was heavenly.
That first note as the show opened! I talked to myself out loud.. “oh hell yes! How the hell did they get Floyd music Licensing !!?” Damn!” This episode won me from that first note! The Sid Barrett nod! Perfect! Phenomenal choice for music!
Ok at the VERY end of the episode when his identity shifts again after he asks for help she says Peter. Like she recognizes another person in his head… I watched that part 3 times… did anyone else hear her say Peter
Is his twin brother Adam a personality aswel? Maybe the first personality that was created to defend Danny from bullies ect someone to have his back before the sexual abuse even happened

I hate judges so much it's unreal. My most hated profession. What gives these guys the gull to be so full of themselves, I don't understand. I hate them, I despise them.
I've had nice judges before, most are pretty understanding if you're not a peice of shit lol. This was a pretty standard take for a judge in the 70s when the disorder isn't proved real & Danny presented himself as sane. They deal with so many cases they have to be assertive. They're also educated in the system... that's why they're full of themselves haha. It is literally their profession to pass judgement.
I like how the show was going, and I liked the fact that the characters were real until now. Now that they are made up and only in his head I feel slightly disappointed. And it got kind of confusing.
Jack said "what happened to you and Adam in this barn broke him" does that mean potentially Adam is real too? I thought he was an alter the entire way until that. Was it innocent as an imaginary friend and then the abuse happened I don't know

It would make the car scene where we find out what happened in the barn confusing. Why did Marlon never address Adam in the car if he was real? Why did he never realise it was Adam and not Danny?
So i just watched episode 7 today & now I’m rewatching the series with my girlfriend & we’re on episode 3 now… knowing what I know I’m actually kinda confused now because there are so many instances where Danny’s alters have interactions with real people in all of his memories, for instance when Ariana butted in on him & started kissing the red head, or when yitzak spoke to his step father the day he moved in & told him he was a bully…. so my question is, are these people we see possibly real & at some point they became his alter egos or am I just thinking too hard? 😂
The characters probably real and not. If those characters are not real, it means Danny live alone in that house. Cause Ariana, Yitzak are his alter ego's. But how Danny can rent the house? If those characters aren't real. But we need to see it in the bigger picture, every scene was probably Danny's imagination. He's done nothing in his life except drawing. The only real scene is when he shot people in Rockafeller Center.
Danny’s mother is aware of her son’s condition. If you watch closely the stepfather looks perplexed when Yitzak “comes out” of the house and demands that they leave Danny alone but the stepfather doesn’t question who Yitzak is, nor does he engage in conversation; it’s like they know. What the stepfather and mother are witnessing is Danny transforming into Yitzak with the posture, accent and everything. What the viewers and Danny are seeing are other characters (at that time thinking they’re real) but it’s all in Danny’s head. I think he was able to live at that house because it was abandoned, and he lived alone. What I’m still confused about is if Danny’s brother is real or not. If the brother isn’t real, I think the stepfather knows about Danny’s condition since he was young because in the scene where he is taking Danny into the barn, he even asks “so which one of you will it be this time?”

Mas depois, ao analisar melhor, acho que aquele Jack que vimos com Rya era só o Danny mesmo, afinal, porque um psicóloga iria querer marcar de se encontrar numa prisão com uma possível testemunha real? E na mesma sala onde ela realizava as sessões com Danny?🤷🏻♀️ Não seria mais coerente marcar de se encontrar em outro lugar? De qualquer forma, creio que todos são alters, inclusive o Yitzak e a Ariana. Penso que Danny realmente fez sexo com a ruiva, mas era Ariana quem estava no comando.

For some reason watching him absolutely ball out was hilarious to me, yet still came off as realistic in the sense of the show.

No he is an alter but became an undesirable as what happened in the barn was to hard for them to face .
