Thank you for rebuilding something beautiful instead of letting it be thrown away. It looks good as new and as long as it puts a smile on your face who cares if it was in a flood. The first video I was thinking this is such a waste of time and money running all that oil through the motor but I must say your efforts paid off. Props to Subaru for making an awesome car.

The more complicated drones with rth functions depend on gps signals and good signal to noise ratios from the controller If either are compromised, like perhaps when in heavy forest with snow cover, the return to home will trigger. If the gps is inhibited by heavy forest cover with snow, the drone can’t figure out where it is. It’ll crash Chris, every time. Just avoid heavy forest... it’ll do a lot better and live a lot longer.
The STI is supposed to fully unlock the centre diff when your handbrake is turned on. I think there is something wrong with your wiring given your handbrake doesn't seem to work properly and the lights turn off when you use it. The smell you're getting might be your centre diff clutches getting hot.
Glad to see it getting a second lease on life! Had it about a year and never got around to giving it the TLC it deserved. I see you found that the rack had studs drilled in for it lol.
Also Chris, you'd reduce your trash a lot of you make sure to clean underneath the hood, at least under the lip then back tape the hood to seal off the engine bay from the outside.
Drifting AWD cars is way harder than it looks. It takes a lot of power and commitment to overcome that grip! Plus, if your centre diff isn't decoupling as you pull the e-brake you could do some major damage
It's STI, don't use handbrake on snow or ice, just loosen DCCD so more power would go to back wheels and just use accelerator pedal and steering to control angle. It has more than enough power to do donuts on spot in snow.
Chris: Use a block so you don't sand through your basecoat Also Chris: Doesn't use a block and sands through basecoat Looks way better with some fresh base anyway! Almost makes me like a Subaru. Can't wait for the engine rebuild.

OMG I want it! Always wanted a Subaru! Cant wait to see the mods!
Dose it concerned about the lights turning on and off when they try and e-brake turn
It's designed that way on most cars . Some cars you have to cycle ignition for it to turn them off with the e brake engaged some not.
Should permanently delete the roof rails 😬
Why would the lights go out in the Subaru when you were trying to do the U turn?
When you pull the parking brake on an STI it turns the lights off
cars that have DRLs when you pull the e-brake the lights will turn off
That makes sense, thanks :D
